Perhaps, like me, you had no idea of this beautiful theme for our WM devices.

I just saw this and I am amazed by the theme.. let keep this thread as encouragement to our developers (Dark Ninja and Elcondor) to keep on working this theme.. WM will only die if developers give up on it.. we all know android on HD2 is fun. but WM is still great platform as long as we keep on going..
by the way has anyone seen the new Co0kie home tab 2.0 beta.. wow.. I mean.. WOW...

This has a really slik design, and if it would be up to me, winmo isn't dying yet. Still like it alot.....Please keep up the development, and there will be at least one that certainly will be using it!!! Complements on the looks of this...

To be honest I can't wait to have that on my HD2. I'd probably never go back to the original sense after that...looks sick!

i think wm still work good and it best in some ability like great software . the big world of software that it best and useful for anyone...

I would even donate to get this theme on my HD2.
I have toyed with Android and I barely use it. I think it's nice for some of the games it has, but my HD2 has most of the apps I want/need and works all the time (unlike my android partition). I like HTC sense, but this theme blows the original out of the water. It's absolutely fantastic! I would definitely be sad if this was not completely developed.
Just because WM7 and android are coming up, that doesn't mean that people currently using 6.5 will drop it or switch. I use WM:Android 10:1. And I have a feeling that most people using a WM phone that won't support WM7 would like to at least have a nice theme!

sry if there is a thread with the same title, but I think it's pretty important Is it possible to make 3d drivers for our galaxy 3 with the source codes? Or is it possible to ask samsung for it?

i dont think that our galaxy 3 is able for playing well 3D games... its just a beginner phone... not a high end one...

So now we have a cracked bootloader, so why we aren't port cyanogen to our tabs?
The Nook have Cyanogen, and its architecture is pretty the same as gen8
the only difference i know is that our toucscreens are connected by an USB Controller..
but the cyanogen source is open! so a dev can change it and get it to us

We'll see Gingerbread (2.3.3) on our Tablets
Maybe Sauron could think about Gingerbread/Cyanogen in a Future release of Urukdroid?..
I hope we get, finally , a working port at our tabs ( Luisivan`s HC Port just doesn't worked because the problem with the touchscreen )

Well, firstly the bootloader hack was only posted 3 days ago. I am no developer either, but I would imagine it takes longer than that to port anything.
Secondly, the developers here on XDA are all people with real lives, doing this stuff in their spare time for their (and our) benefit. They don't get paid for it, and we have no right to expect/demand anything from them.
Thirdly, changing 1 byte in the stock recovery is a far cry from creating a custom recovery, which again takes time, energy and knowledge.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not flaming you here, just saying that a degree of patience might be come in handy right now. These things will come when the devs have the time to look into it.
Until then, just enjoy the huge benefits their hard work has already given us compared to stock.

Yeah fisha i know what you mean, but i get angry when i think of the fact, that every damn android device gets an rom/hack/update. Even the oldest android device in the world has an honeycomb rom!
and we - owners of ones of the best android devices - stay at dark!

This upset me extremly! This is the only problem i had with Archos Products!
I was so happy, when i was heard that Archos Gen8 has an own Xda Forum in January
(Archosfans Forum is horror)

But we have to do something about the archos problem...
I do understand, the problem is just that the Archos isn't a very popular device. More people have the Nook etc, so more devs involved. There is some useful stuff on Archosfans, but much less in the way of development, that's true.
To be honest, when I bought my 101 in December, I thought I'd be waiting much longer to get to this stage....it will happen, just give it time. Or, do what I'm doing and start reading up on Android development, get your feet wet with some basic stuff, and who knows, you might be the one that brings us the next big thing!

I think that a future hypothetic Cyanogen port to archos will leave us without the GREAT archos video player and all the codec stuff they have on CLOSED development... so, we gotta wait and see the performance of our tablet with a "generic" set of codecs, for example...
Anyway... I'm very excited for the latest news of the recovery crack and happy to know that finally we are in position to have a CM port for archos ... with CW Recovery and all the stuff most android devices already have...
Yes,I am also deep wish and appreciated that Devepoler in ARCHOS Gen8 XDA forum could update more custom ROMs in the near future which will make the ARCHOS GEN8 more popular than before.
For example:There are many Dev. updated the custom ROMs of Huawei IDEOS u8150 in XDA forum(refer to : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970832 ) and users are very happy to upgrade and enjoy the updated custom ROMs everyday!!
I don't know many things about rom cooking, but if someone can teach me how to do i would be happy to do a custom rom for our Archos

Honestly, I have started using VitalPlayer. It plays AC3 and has a better sync between audio and video when using an OC kernel. So if we have to move to another Mod which loses us the stock player, its not that great a loss.

YEEES! There are better players for music and videos out in Market ( VitalPlayer,Rockplayer and Player Plus )
I Will "do" an rom on my 101 even if the codecs got lost

Oh i have works perfectly with other players too
720p works on VitalPlayer for sure. I have no issues with that.

yeah it is.
as you can see. because of these ICS is now having a massive PROGRESS..
we now have kernel for ICS by nAa. and lots of ROM porting
we can now taste a real ice cream.
all that we need to do is to WAIT haha

I found out that nAa has built a kernel for the x8 which is ICS compatible.

nAas rom supports robyn and mimmi and shakira. we just need to wait
He made miniCM9-3.0.0 for X8 so we´ll get it, too. I hope. And its android 4.0.4
But the X10 mini will meet the minimum requeritments to performance??

ICS-> cool interface , resource DOG = x10 mini killer, the main problem is the ram, not as the cpu.
Gingerbread-> not as cool as ics, but less resources
Froyo->less fingerfriendly, but less resources and way faster than 2.1, little more than 2.3

No problem, already tested other builds of ICS for our X10 Mini's. Performance its great, same as Gingerbread. UI seems smoother. Ics it's a better OS overall, and Ram also seems to be enough.
When the devs compile or reuse a working camera driver, we'll have a FULL rom... every other thing works like a charm now.

Well, there are ways of overcoming the out-of-memory problems most old devices have. Compcache or zram, kernel samepage merging and purging of assets.

I'm looking forward for this release. ICS on X10 mini could be a good second mobile.

It is a project where i imagined i can make something like Fera Droid Engien
btw we could work together and make an engien only for x10
U asing what should it do well that is up to us :
