How to unlock P9 lite in 2019? - Huawei P9 Lite Questions & Answers

Hello, i have received used P9 lite some days ago and i would like to unlock bootloader, custom roms etc.
Is there any free option to unlock my device?
If you know where to get DC unlocker cracked tell me

Which paid option is recommended nowadays? DC for $4.5 is ok.
It seems I was hacked and rooted... As I understand, some kind of spyware found its home at /cust/hw/... Service center offers reset my phone for $5, but I'm not sure they really understand difference between Factory reset and full firmware update (Cambodia, yep). So DC is looking valuable choice. But... Since device was probably unlocked and probably rooted/unrooted, will I get a root without a headache?..
(Still not really understand all the details about rooting process, despite 2 weeks diving into the Android world.)

, and when i wrote to them 3 days ago still didn't get any answer. So I was just thinking is there any other way to unlock bootloader?
I was thinking about using something like kingoroot to get root access, then getting some kind of custom recovery, then getting normal root and getting rid of kingo, but have no idea will it work and how to get it to work. Any ideas? Or should i just stay with unrooted p8....
well that site did not work me for me too...
i used this link:

Hi, be careful with Kingroot; I used it on my Huawei P8 lite and it bricked my phone (could not update any app and not go back to factory settings). Also the Huawei website was hopeless for me. But I got the unlock code by PHONING the general Huawei helpdesk. I used a Dutch phonenumber (free calling, no cost) because I live in NL, but you should look for such a number in your country. The man was very helpful, asked for my SN, IMEI and product ID and one day later he phoned bak with the unlock code
Hotline support, view our global hotlines. Google on these sentences on the Huawei general pages. I wish you succes. Jos

Yes, many users have reported that rooting through Kingroot bricked their device, but it worked like a charm for me... Anyways, if you want to do via kingroot way, please understand every risk...
Sent from my ALE-L21 using XDA-Developers mobile app

Some advice on "upgrading" my ALE-L02

Hi guys,
I'm a little noob with geek stuff but still I like to do it by myself.
Story: I went abroad for a six months trip and I bought a P8 lite in Japan (Soft bank carrier). The model is a ALE-L02-C111B210 (single sim) and from my search on the forum, I understand that it is the same as L21 except LTE frequencies may not work. I have different ideas but I'd like to check before doing anything stupid (which I am )
The phone has a lot of japanese crappy apps that I cannot uninstall and no updates are provided by this carrier. That why I want to root it and debrand it.
1- When I put my european simcard, it ask me for a network unlock code. I cannot get it from the carrier because my account was closed and they don't want to hear anything. I then found website who can give me a "generic" unlock code for this device against 10€. Before paying for a code, I'd like to know if rooting the phone and puting a custom/unbrand rom, it will also unlock the network or not. I compare to my old iphone who can be unlocked once rooted
2- I read a LOT of threds about L21 and several people with the L02 used the video for RootJunky who give all required files included a firmware file but an old one I think (V100R001C636B120).
Can replace it with one I got from huawei website but following the same procedure ? for instance : HUAWEI P8 Lite Firmware(ALE-L21, Andriod 6.0, EMUI 4.0, C432B565, Austria, Single SIM, Channel-Others)
3- dumb question. what's the stock rom for ? because it is only 34Mb on the RootJunky repository
Thanks a lot for any help/answer

1) Which website? Are you sure it is safe? Don't give credit card information on such sites without confirmation. Iphone rooted?Iphone can be unlock and jail break but remember root is different from jailbreaking.
2) You may flash other country firmware. It's no big deal. But you may need to unlock bootloader.
3) stock rom is the default rom that phone comes with. Its size is usually above 1GB. 34MB can't be stock rom.

The website should be ok, it has a good rating of trustedshops. does not look fake, but still, I'd like to know if buying an unlock code will be necessary after rooting/changing the rom .[/QUOTE]

[Mediapad T3 7 Wifi] Cant get code to unlock bootloader

Please delete. Thanks.
Did you get the code after? I'm struggling with mine the 10" version.
I would also like to know this. I've done a cursory scan of XDA, but since the T3 doesn't appear to have its own forum section (is it too new ?) I'm a bit unsure about this device. A bunch of people are saying they can't unlock the boot loader, and I heard some talk that there's no version of CWM/TWM available yet, but then a few people have said they unlocked their boot loader fine, and others indicate they've got TWM on it.
What's the process for unlocking/rooting ? I keep hearing this "unlock code" mentioned. This is my first Huawei device and I'm getting the feeling from what I've read that they are a pain in the ass in terms of openness. I've signed up to Huawei's support site, which oh my god, that was a mission. They do more user verification than the government or the tax office combined. Making you receive and enter a verification code via both email AND sms is some pretty intense security.
Would love to know, what's this bootloader unlock code people are referring to and where can I get it on their site ? What's the code do ? I've unlocked and used cfw on many devices before but I've never needed a code to unlock the bootloader. I've also heard some horror stories about how it's really hard to get into a firmware upload mode on this device due to Chinese menus.
I am also on the AGS-L09 10" MediaPad T3 LTE version (The "Honor" version though, so it's technically the Chinese model, but it shipped with international firmware)

Aosp roms requires a custom kernel to work, this requires:
1, unlocked bootloader(not possible on the snapdragon variant)
2, a custom recovery (not possible due to locked bootloader)
Just using the oem unlock option does not unlock the bootloader, more steps are required for most phones in order to unlock the bootloader, if it was that easy it would have been exploited by now, most of the guides on the snapdragon version mention that the bootloader is not unlockable.
You more than likely will need to restore the recovery through odin or something,

Thanks ya I fixed it! And ya I understand there are additional steps to doing this that's why I mentioned fastboot. If you could guide me in a direction to potentially learn more about the kernals and how they work or what I would need to be good at to exploit download mode or knox whatever is required to potentially exploit the bootloader I would not give up on it im fine with wasting my time. I had recently talked to Sam help chat and they told me someone could unlock the bootloader for me (a phone company near me) I talked to a guy over the phone that said it could be possible bc they have the Samsung tools to do so but he told me to call the next day because the other tech knew more then him, so I called the next day and he said they could do it but they would get in trouble for doing so. My plan is to go in when the guy that doesn't know much is working ? and get him to unlock it. Hopefully then I could upload the software here and free the snapdragon slaves!!! If your interested in the conversations I had with Samsung and this other company I could upload the screen shots thank you for your reply!

I've never dabbled in making kernels or anything so I'm pretty useless with that. The phone has been out for over 3 years now and as of yet there is no software method to unlock the bootloader, android devs would have figured that one out by now if it was possible, if it is possible then maybe there some extra hardware thats required to unlock the bootloader, I honestly don't know enough, I'm experienced enough to know to do certain things but I don't know the ins and out of how bootloader are coded, how the instructions are carried out. But it would defo be interesting to see if they do this for you.

Ya thanks man when I talked to the inexperienced tech guy he said I could come in and we could try but I didn't want to drive there and waste my time ? but the experienced dude said I could probably find another repair place that would do it (figured it's another one of their shops he was hinting at as there are a few around me) so I will attempt to do this and hopefully some how it works and I can upload the software here not sure if flashing it would unlock anyone elses bootloaders as I expect it to be some sort of key like the HTC phones used to require and is unique to each device. When I got that oem to appear I was trying anything and everything in adb and fastboot as I suspected if we could glitch the phone in fastboot mode we could unlock it lol at least that's what I hoped for, tried upload mode kernal panic the 3 different download modes and tried to replace the Samsung download mode driver and flash the fastboot Android driver on top of it but my lack of knowledge on these things hindered me from making any progress but I believe there's a exploit in this root software that was copyed from the s9 and simply devs don't want to waste there time because they believe it is impossible. I've seen much hard thing accomplished in this dev sight hopefully the right person can figure it out and Is motivated by this post or point me in the right direction ? thanks if you read all this if I get it unlocked you will def see another post lengthy post ?

Need help to unlock bootloader of Huawei Nova 3i

Hi, I'm wondering if there is still a way unlock the bootloader of HUAWEI NOVA 3i? All Huawei users now know that Huawei already stops giving out unlocking codes which are very disappointing. If only I knew this before I bought this nova 3i I would have chosen a Xiamoi phone.
I already visited other threads regarding unlocking the bootloader but I think none of them works now. This is very frustrating thinking that you paid for every piece of your phone yet you can't have the liberty to do whatever you want with it.
Hey! Sadly you don't have a choice other than paying, you can check this https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-nova-3i/how-to/guide-how-to-install-twrp-root-huawei-t3878946 for how to unlock bootloader (paid), install twrp and root your device. Have a nice day!
