Fingerprint Animation on Camera Shutter Button - OnePlus 6T Questions & Answers

Ok, this is weird. A couple of times in the past day I've launched the camera using the Draw O screen off gesture. When I touched the shutter button, the fingerprint animation would appear. The camera still took the picture. I could tap on the gallery to view it but when I go back to the camera, all i got was a black screen with the nav bar at the bottom. When I hit the back button, it took me to the lock screen, but instead of the lock screen wallpaper I could see the camera open behind the lock screen (See attached screenshot). Going back in, the camera worked as normal.
I tried replicating it but I can't seem to on any predictable basis. It's happened about three times so far. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm on 9.0.7. Rooted w/ Magisk v18.0. No TWRP, no custom kernel. Only YouTube Vanced & Systemless Hosts modules installed.

Lock screen showing camera

So my issue is that the lock screen constantly shows camera as if it is a background. It also won't let me add any lock screen widgets.
I did a hard reset, happened again. Took it in, they did a hard reset.happened again. They traded my phone and again happening.
The only thing I did was add my gmail accounts.no apps downloaded and no other settings messed with.
Anyone have this issue? Picture attached to see what it's doing.
Scroll to the right instead of the left. Camera is on a page on the lockscreen. Scrolling to the left will show you ability to add other widgets to the lockscreen

I'm getting a similar issue. For me whenever I take a picture and click on the gallery icon - my phone will display my homescreen wallpaper for a few seconds, then it takes to me to my lockscreen and I have to unlock to view the image. Very weird. I'll try flashing the rom again if I can't figure out a solution. Google camera works perfectly well though.

Camera Panorama and Photo Sphere feature quit working...

Hello! I am running Android 7.1.2 and Camera 4.3.016. About three weeks ago, I went to take a panorama image. The feature didn't work. Didn't think too much about it at the time, figured a reboot would solve it. Today, I tried again. Same thing. And photo sphere doesn't work either. If I go to either of those modes, say panorama, I get the rectangle with white does, empty circle in the middle. If I press the shutter button, the blue dot shows, but when it is centered in the circle, the circle kind of shows a half of a white inner circle rapidly flashing around the blue dot. Same for photo sphere. And nothing happens. Either phone orientation, horizontal or vertical.
I believe since this issue began, there have been OS version updates as well as camera version updates. I am a part of the beta program, so not sure if something got messed up, but figured the version updates would help. I also tried uninstalling camera app updates, and even reinstalled the camera (updated?) from Google Play. And, bootloader is unlocked but I am not rooted.
Any suggestions as to what might be the culprit here?
Thanks!
Chris

Camera fails to launch from lock screen gesture

In average each 3rd time I try to launch a camera from a lock screen using V gesture it fails to start. Only thing I see is a dimmed lockscreen wallpaper. My device is running 5.0.2, Magisk 15.3 and latest TWRP codeworks.
Did anyone else experience same issue?
Thanks!

Fingerprint sensor not working after wallpaper change...?

Hi,
I just noticed, that after changing wallpapers (I used the APOD app to automatically set the background image to the latest APOD), the fingerprint sensor was not working anymore, because the green circle did not show anymore (just the "finger print" symbol).
This both happened on the lock screen (where the background image was shown) AND the standby display where actually always a black background is shown. Even there, the green circle was no longer shown.
After changing the wall paper again to some other image or stock image, the green circle showed up again and the sensor was detecting again finger prints.
I reproduced a few times using the APOD app again to set the image and the finger print again did no longer show the green circle and did not recognize my prints.
When I was using the "add new finger" wizard, the green circle always showed up and the sensor worked.
Anyone else can reproduce this?
i encounter same problem as yours. still searching for solution.
