Has anyone tried this app. - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Themes, Apps, and Mods

It allows more overall customization of your phone.

Yes it is a great app but here's the threat about this as well.

This is dope! Always on display only when charging. Been wanting that!
And cleaning up the status bar!

For those that prefer using the phone's browser over the XDA app

I made a request to get a dark theme added to XDA and was thinking that if enough people showed interest it might get the ball rolling. The purpose behind this is that a dark theme would improve our battery life as I'm sure all of you know how these screens work.
Before the peanut gallery chimes in, I have no interest in using the XDA app.
Well the premium app has a black theme, have you tried that?

Your in luck, this has already been done. I don't have the premium app, but I am using the dark theme. Just go into settings, it is there.
:facepalm
Forget I even said anything
edit: Just so nobody takes the above comment wrong: I DO NOT LIKE USING THE XDA APP. I want to add a dark theme to XDA's UserCP options.
I'm not sure why you would want to request a feature you wouldn't use, but more power too you..
I originally opened this thread because I was curious to know why someone would rather use the web broweser instead of the XDA app. So whats the pro/con?
I wanna a thanks button on this app

Where are you getting the idea that I wouldn't use it?
I just like the browser version better. I have it as a bookmark in my LP dock pop up which takes me directly to general or development. With the Miran browser I have other forums in different tabs so I can go back and forth between them easily. Its harder for me to navigate the app than it is to navigate the browser. Also when people reply using the app, 90% of the time it gets put in the quote box and and looks like and an empty post when in fact the reply is jumbled in with someone else's post (see post #4 as an example). The only benefit the app has to me is that the text is formatted a little better for legibility but that can be fixed in the browser by simply double tapping the page and zooming in.
This is how I'd like it to look like.

How do you install this widget?
I moved all four of the files to /system/app and it didn't do anything. Tried installing the .apk files and they wouldn't install. I'm out of ideas.
Any way of using the widget in nova? Or any theme for ather weather widget that looks like lg widget weather?

I did it same as you,rebooted,nothing... Anyone else with idea?
I think the weather widget is highly integrated in the lock screen and settings. Which is making it very difficult to use the weather app if it didn't already come in the rom. It won't deodex. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only way it could be used is if its reverse engineered and those dependencies are removed. Which is a pain in the ass

I found one weather widget that works in nova. It is Samsung s4 named, but it is almost the same like Lg g2

Do you have deodexed version?
I guess this died huh. I was really hoping for some android wizard to figure this out :-} its the only thing missing from malladus to be perfect

You can extract the weather photo. png files from lg weather even with root explorer you can see them. And use them to make a uccw weather skin. It is actually easy but needs time.
It would be almost the same except of the small videos.

Action bar

Sorry I'm not sure what it's officially called but the bar to the side you can slide out for quick launching apps. I would like to know if there is a way to put whatever app I want in there instead of the limited choices they give you.

I don't really know if you can do this, I think if an app is not display in the quick launching apps that's because it isn't compatible with multi-tasking.
Mw app manager! Does exactly what I want! Awesome!!

Can't remove this icon from homescreen! Which app is it?

This icon with a white background and black person inside a circle appeared on my homescreen today. What app is doing this and how do I get rid of it?

Greetings, you should be able to Disable this Icon in your Phone Settings
Go to the General Tab and tap Accessibillity there Disable the Universal Touch Feature
I'd probably edit the post to say silhouette instead of something pottentially offensive to some.

Don't be silly and read it in context. Obviously doesn't mean a "'black skinned" person.
And the accessibility options for universal touch is correct as I've enabled this before.

Nova pull down notifications

Is anybody using the swipe down for notifications? My phone freezes when I try to use it and I had accepted it on the accessibility tab.

Shouldn't freeze, but it will be super slow to pull down. That is a marshmallow bug that Nova's developer had submitted to Google. If it's actually freezing that's different and might be anice issue with something specific to your setup.

I'm not sure why it's happening either. Maybe I should just reset my nova launcher. The only times its worked is when I've been able to root my past phones with a similar setup on my Moto x pure, and nexus 6p.

This happened to me but then I updated to Nova Launcher beta apk and it cleared that issue. I think I had to register on Nova Launcher Google plus page.

Yep, downloading the beta fixed it for me as well. Thanks!
