Good evening, I have some questions taking into account that I am not an expert.
Beginning I own a sm-j730f/ds version Android 7.0 rooted by Magisk, 17.1 stock rom for Egypt:
1-Is it possible to update to Android 8.1 stock ROM for UAE
2. Are there any special steps to update or the normal way is enough by Odin
3-Does root with magisk work without twrp method

My dear friend, I am sorry unfortunately I can not help, because my device contains root magisk plus that TWRP does not work on my device.
Question why you want to return to Android 7.0. Have you encountered a problem with the new update?

Can anybody explain to me or point me in the right direction to upgrade my firmware to EMUI5? I can't figure it out and it's killing me. I'm currently running a melticulus RR install which has recently started playing up so I want to upgrade to a 7.0 ROM and to do that, I apparently need to upgrade my firmware to EMUI5

Yes man you need to do that..
I'm on EliteRom by HassanMirza and as you came from RR MM 6.0.1 whit Meticulus Recovery TWRP-3.0.2.0-hi6250-v4.zip.
So i hope you've done your Dump backup+Nandroid backup as explained as well.
Starting from here u need to follow steps in the Meticulus site in the FAQ section of TWRP download page.
Well done.. now flash the Stock Recovery and let it upgrade..

Hi all, kind of a newbie query i want to install s9 rom by sac23 which is oreo rom, I want to confirm if I install this rom and later wants to go back to stock nougat will it be possible, If yes will it be via odin by downloading latest stock firmware from sammobile, or i can restore also from my nandroid backup of my nougat rom. My fone is now at nougat january security patch level build number NRD90M.G935FXXS2DRAA which is latest for my region. I also want to ask can i install sac23 s9 port directly over nougat by fromatting data, cache & system etc. Thanks in advance for the guidance
I have A5 2016 (a510f). It's rooted with SuperSu. It currently has Android 6. How to update to Android 7? And how to install root again after this procedure? Will the recovery still be working or everything from scratch?

Hi xda community. I need some help for my J7 Plus C710F android 8.1 official firmware released last month. The last version of TWRP of @Albe96 for android 7 is working fine but for some reason my phone got a bootloop and i started flashing the latest android 8.1 version via odin. After that i activated the developer option, active usb debuging mode and OEM unlock then start flashing the TWRP recovery from @Albe96. The flashing process is a success but its not working and it goes back to original stock recovery. Can someone update the TWRP from @Albe96.
