I have A5 2016 (a510f). It's rooted with SuperSu. It currently has Android 6. How to update to Android 7? And how to install root again after this procedure? Will the recovery still be working or everything from scratch?

Hey guys I'm looking for help to root my s5 modle number SG-M900W8, running 5.1.1 but I'm having no luck I ran cr auto root an it but me in a bootloop an kingroot has no support for 5.1.1 yet Is there any way to root as of now? I heard you must flash a custom kernal to be able to root the s5 on 5.1.1 but as far as I know you must be rooted in order to flash a kernal! Beginning I own a sm-j730f/ds version Android 7.0 rooted by Magisk, 17.1 stock rom for Egypt:
1-Is it possible to update to Android 8.1 stock ROM for UAE
2. Are there any special steps to update or the normal way is enough by Odin
3-Does root with magisk work without twrp method

Question why you want to return to Android 7.0. Have you encountered a problem with the new update?
Hi xda community. I need some help for my J7 Plus C710F android 8.1 official firmware released last month. The last version of TWRP of @Albe96 for android 7 is working fine but for some reason my phone got a bootloop and i started flashing the latest android 8.1 version via odin. After that i activated the developer option, active usb debuging mode and OEM unlock then start flashing the TWRP recovery from @Albe96. The flashing process is a success but its not working and it goes back to original stock recovery. Can someone update the TWRP from @Albe96.

Hi, I rooted my SM-G900F months ago with CF-Auto-Root-klte-kltexx-smg900f.zip and I have Android Version 6.0.1. How can I upgrade it to latest Android version without losing the root access?
You can by installing the ROM, install magisk, install gapps/microg then reboot.
If you know how to install a ROM just do it, if not, this forum has a guide. Search it.
