Samsung AllShare with S7 Edge - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hello,
I have the following TV from Samsung: UE40C6000
It has a feature called Samsung AllShare which has been discontinued, but it should work still.. I've downloaded the app for Windows and yeah it works great.. But I can't make it work on my phone
The smart view or these other technologies are not supported by this TV.. It has to be the AllShare service to work..
Does anyone knows how can I connect them?

[Q] Stream Music in NAS to Samsung TV via DLNA?

Back when I was still using Galaxy S2 on Gingerbread I was able to browse music files on my NAS over DLNA using a Samsung provided app (I think is AllShare) and play on my Samsung TV but I cannot find that app anymore.
Seems like Samsung replaced it with Link but I fail to understand if that use case is still even supported by the Link app in Note 3.
Or would I now need to use a third party app for this, say Bubble UPnP?

[Q] What features does the GT-I9301l have?

Samsung says the S3 Neo has S Beam, AllShare Play, and even AllShare Cast.
The only feature I miss is AllShare Cast.
It should be on my device just like on the S3(GT-I9300) but it isn't on it. Not on the notification panel or not in the Settings app.
I asked Samsung about my problem and they said my device doesn't support this feature!!!! They told me to buy an AllShare Cast Dongle for a lot of money... But how can it not support the feature if in the specification they said it supports!
On the Hungarian Samsung site I found that AllShare Cast should be a feature on S3 Neo.
Any help?thx (sry 4 English):silly:

Hi,
If you want to stream media on other devices (or stream on your device searching others as library) I really recommend BubbleUPnP app! Never failed me once! Well, I'm taking that Samsung AllShare is similar to Samsung Link, if you want to stream your screen to a TV for example, I recommend Chromecast.

S8/S8+ DLNA Support?

I got in the Unlocked S8+ last week (returning it for the Unlocked S8) and was wondering what happened to DLNA support? All my past Samsung phones (S3/4/5, Note2/3/4/5) and LG G5 have supported DLNA in some form, which allows the phone's Gallery app to view content on my Windows 7 PC.
But with the Unlocked S8+ that I have now, I don't see this anywhere on the phone.
I found this on the Verizon site:
https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-210974/
But doesn't seem to work on Unlocked S8+ that I have.
Maybe you need to install an app?
I installed bubbleUPNP and MediaHouse, both let me read from my computer running serviio or cast it to my DLNA TV as well. I'd not tried it with my S6, so don't know how it used to be done, but with either of those apps it works fine.

I know with my other Samsung phones, no additional app was needed, as the included Samsung Gallery app was able to connect to my Windows 7 PC via DLNA to view images/videos.
I would of thought the S8 Gallery app would do the same thing.

Use Samsung Connect.
Share the video/image whatever and use the "view content on tv" or whatever suits your needs.

I had tried Samsung Connect, but that doesn't work when wanting to stream from PC to the Phone, only from Phone to a Samsung Smart TV.
