Rooted K20 Plus (T-Mobile) stuck on 2G network - LG K20 Plus Questions & Answers

Hey everybody,
Recently rooted an American T-Mobile K20 Plus and removed the restriction on the network for use in Ireland. I can now register the phone to any network associated with the SIM card inserted into it. Unfortunately, the phone does not appear to be able to connect to anything but 2G internet even after changing Network Mode from GSM only to GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto.
I'm wondering if there are any security measures pre-installed in the phone to block 3G or 4G internet outside of the USA or have I made any stupid mistakes? Phone pretty much needs the better connectivity for use as a hotspot. Any ideas would be great, thanks.

I have the same problem

Is it at all possible for you to access the phone's hidden settings and change the radio band under phone info to Automatic or Europe. It's likely it is set to United States by default.

K20 plus isn't able to use the frequency that irish carriers support.

LTE does not show up as option with specific Operator (MVNO)

I have a SGS5 (SM-G900F) downgraded to Kitkat. (4.4.2)
I can use LTE with one operator A (4G shows in statusbar, speedtest measures above 50Mbits).
I bought a sim for operator B but I cannot switch to LTE mode in Mobile Data Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Network Mode. Any option with LTE is simply not available.
I tested the sim for operator B on an iPhone 6 plus, it works just fine.
I have found some guide for secret codes and walked through it to force LTE. It works, but it does not switch to 3G automatically when I receive a call (it does this with the card of operator A)
So I know that my phone does support both operators frequency bands, I can force it to work, but I want to have the convenience of automatic switching on a phone call.
Is there a list somewhere in the software that has flags for networks to enable and disable LTE options in the menu ? Can I edit this ? Where is it ?
Will updating my Android version fix this ? ( I would really prefer to avoid this, since I use SnoopSnitch )
Operator A is: Vodafone (DE), A1 (AT)
Operator B is: HoT (AT)->MVNO for T-Mobile (AT)

No 4g with SM-G935K in EU

Hey Guys,
I have just bought a olleh branded S7 edge(SM-G935K/Korean version) from eBay. I'm very happy with it so far, but it seems that 4g is not working, only 3g. I looked trough the internet, but couldn't find anything. What I do found out is that it supports all the correct 4g frequencies. It also looks that some of the settings are blocked or simply not there. For example, when I go into Setting - Mobile networks, I only see a greyed out Data roaming, normal Access Point Names and greyed out Status bar indicator. There is no Network mode and no Network operators. Maybe this is because of the olleh branding?
Thanks!
Hi,
I have got the same issue. but I have 4G working. I would like to know how to get data roaming working too. Any expert can point it out how to fix the data roaming would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I am on Australia Vodafone network. I do get LTE and LTE+. I can share my setting if you need any info.

s7 edge is having trouble with TMobile's LTE mobile data

So I recently purchased s7 edge g935fd from Taiwan. The phone was working fine there in Taiwan. When I came back to the States, however, the phone seems to have trouble connecting TMobile's LTE mobile data. The LTE goes on and off , no matter where I am. The phone still says that it is connected to LTE even when the data is not loading. I tried to reset the APN setting but no avail. I also tried that sim card on my old ASUS Zenphone 2 and the LTE worked fine so it is probably not the sim card's fault. The weird thing is that I can still call, text, and even use 3g network, it's only LTE that is not working properly. Anyone got a solution to this?

HTC 10 Sprint not getting 4g network

Hey everyone!
I just bought brand new HTC 10 Sprint (unlocked) phone off Ebay.
I can make calls normally, but I only have Edge network (not 4g as I used to have in my previous HTC 10)
Is there any way to make it work? I don't really know much about those networks but I learned that Sprint is CDMA network and that is somehow different to what I have.
My provider supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA/LTE.
If I change preferred network mode (now automatic) to LTE/CDMA I get no reception at all.
If anyone knows the solution or can tell me where to look i would be thankful.
EDIT: The Ebay listing says the phone supports:
NETWORK
Technology
GSM / HSPA / LTE

No 3G after motherboard replace

Hi all after wifi not working anymore I bought a refurbished motherboard for my 9505 LTE version. After replacing it wifi is working great but I can't seem to be able to connect to 3G. In info menu (*#*#4636#*#*) I read -voice network: GSM and -data network: EDGE, no matter what I set in preferred network type. I contacted phone company (3 Italy) and they say mi sim card is correctly registered on the network and I should get at least H+.
Tried all the latest modem/bootloader avaiable, now I am on I9505XXUHQC1 (GSM/NON-HLOS COMBINED).
Also tried manual network selection and I can only have signal if I set 2G as preferred network type in Settings-WiFi and Mobile-Mobile network.
Any ideas?
Thanks
