i want to root it and upgrade it
could anybody help me

I need help too, and need help with 3g network.
How do you modify modem.img for 3g network?

I rooted it with this tool:

it is in chinese, but is pretty automatic.
It will flash you a recovery mod in chinese also.
Still trying to find a recovery in english at least.

reboot in to recovery, power off the phone, and power on, pressing volume down, until it enters recovery mode.

It worked, thx. But now, I had a bigger problem. After I rooted the phone, it cant connect to the mobile network, I even can´t make a phone call. I write - No service. I tried 3 sim cards including my own, which worked in this phone before the root :-/ I cant install gapps, becose it write, that it cant verify the signature. Can this be undone somehow? Because now the phone is useless

How can i use "the original zte update"? Could you please give a link? I would like to try rooting but first want to be sure i can redo it.

[Q] Urgent help! update auto installed, and bricked my phone.

I have the Lg g2 D800 varient, and tonight I got an update for 15.4mb, that pushed without my permission, and now my screen is on a black screen, upon rebooting after said update was installed. I am rooted, but no plans to update to 4.4, it just did it without consent..

Stuck on a bootloop, the LG logo flashes for a second, then its a lighted black screen. I plug my phone inot the pc, and 20 windows popup asking If I want to format G drive.
No twrp installed.

do you have custom recovery?(if you have twrp than this will help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696) do you know how to enter download mode, can you access it, how about you flash to stock?(if you can get into download mode than this will help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476)

downgrade back to 10d using flashtool,
root,install twrp,reflash twrp 2.6.3.3
then follow this method.

No custom recovery, or twrp. I tried to install those last week, but I was unsucessful, and stuck with root for now. No download mode at the moment, I tried to enter it, and my phones lg logo flashed for a second before going to the black screen.

you can try this but you need Ubuntu and I'm not exactly sure it will work(also you need to find the correct files for your model), also if your phone is under warranty you can try taking it to att store and telling them update killed your phone but of course don't mention anything about root

Only because Im ignorant in learning how to flash, I came from iOS, and I'm still learning. I just want my phone back on at this point. I only rooted, and a silly update from att downloaded while I was rooted, and It auto rebooted into an LG logo flash, followed by a black screen.

yes I was just saying you did not want kit kat because he posted a link on how to get kk which is also outdated since now there is a method where get root and recovery

Ah, yeah, I cant even get into the factory hard reset. It just turns off and on to a black screen. Thank you for your help, though.
Im freaking out, -_-. I regret for even allowing it to update, I should have tried to turn the phone off.

Well if the guy doesnt want kitkat downgrade to 10d. That woul be the best option

Well i had that happeb a few times.... i just left it at the black screen and about 30 minutes it rebooted.
I could still access download mode when that happened to me.

dont format it.
okay now you have to be quick when you do this to get into download mode...
plug your usb into your phone and have it hanging in the usb port in the computer or plug.
now hold the power button until it turns off.
quickly plug in the port/plug and hold the up button.
you have to do it really quickly. took me a few tries.
once in download mode restore to factory whichever image you choose.
ive had this done a couple times to my phone and it does work if you act quickly.

First link should work for you. I'm on D802, but had exactly the same problem and this solved it completly.
But be careful while doing it, it's really easy to mess things up.

Just get a virtual machine, it does the job just fine.
I did it with VirtualBox and Ubuntu. And make sure, you disable auto mount usb in ubuntu to prevent opening the 20 "partition" windows.

LG on screen phone can't use.

i have LG G2 4.4.2 and i can't use OSP because the app want me to update the computer software , i tried and when im launching "OSPLiveUpdate" it's open the software and it's still want me to update ...

It indicates that your PC OSP tool is out of date.
Update it.
(if the Update button grayed out then reboot the PC)

OSP is a built-in feature on the LG G2.
In order to use it, you need
1. turn on this feature on the G2 phone (under PC connectivity) AND
2. get the OSP tool installed on the computer that you want to use this feature
For item 2. you need to go onto the LG support site, download the tool then install it.
Do that first if you haven't done that yet.

If I understand you correctly, you do have the OSP tool installed on your PC AND you do turn on OSP feature on your phone.
Right? I assume that's what you said.
If that's the case, then reread my post above, UPDATE IT.
Update the OSP tool on your PC.
When you invoke (open) the tool, there will be an icon shown in the Status bar (where volume, network, action center, ... icon shown)
Click on it (can't remember RMB or LMB) to bring up its menu then select Settings.
From there, you will see the firmware version and Update button.

You have an old version, UPDATE IT.
If the Update button grayed out then REBOOT your PC .......... then redo it (check and update it again)

Im sorry , okay look what i did , i reboot my pc , after i open again the settings and checked if the update button isn't grayed out , i found that it's grayed out ,,,
what can i do now ?

I can't remember on top of my head which is the latest, but if my memory serves me well, it should be 4.2.x.x something, not 4.0.x.x.
After rebooting, what is it now?

Same issue
Same issue here. Latest version says 4.0.004.130823 which is what we have. But if we try to connect the phone to the pc it says please update software on pc.

I don't really know what you guys have done but I do it w/o any problem.
In fact, I just uninstalled everything and restarted from scratch.
Everything is OK as normal. It is on Windows 7.

Bricked Help!

So i get lg g2 had no idea that it was rooted and press the soft update.Than it bricked to Twrp recovery.So i told myself lets reflash the firmware.I did that using kdz for my phone d802 but not sure if it was the exact version.Than i get an error on the lg flash i press ok the program not responded and that's it the install freezed at 13% now i have no download mode no recovery.When i press all three buttons i get hardware buttons but they don't show the IMEI.I have no idea what was my stock rom.Is there any fix for me?

Flash a TOT firmware. It is always more powerful than kdz

I tried to flash europe open d80220h But what if this was incorect rom if it was 32gb version.My phone if 16gb version?

Yes. DO not flash incorrect version. Check your phone spec first and download accoridngly.

Check your storage. If it shows total space : 32 gb or 16 gb, thats the one you have. Check your variant written on the back of the device or just go to about phone and see there.

Axon 7 Hard Bricked

Hi, this is my first post on XDA. Excuse me if it isn´t very well made, Im writting this very quickly :c
I have an Axon7 (China version) and I flashed the U.S Version, however I lost my mobile network (ATT) signal and got a ¨No service¨text.
I flashed lineage OS to check if that would help me, flashed the universal bootloader and got it working, but I still had the no service error.
I decided to go back to stock nougat so I used Xiamiflash to try to flash the B19 firmware, it flashed succesfully but when I tried to turn it on I noticed my phone would get stock in Factory Test Mode, I flashed it succesfully but my phone wouln´t turn on, it gets stuck in a red Led and a black screen, i cant even get it to EDL mode :c
Please help.​EDIT: I got my phone back on, I don´t know how, But I still have no service, I will create another Thread

Your PC see to device? BTW, don't flash us stock rom Via miflash tool. Just use twrp.

Yes, my pc now detects my phone in EDL, however I dont know wich package to flash , I can´t acces TWRP

Thank you for the help , It somehow restored but now I get a no service error :c I think it is because my EFS probably got corrupted :c

firstly try to flash B16 bootstack. check your imei. i don't anything else.

You need to reboot your PC to Driver Enforcing mode if that happens.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "refuses to detect it"?

It detects it but says that the device has no driver available.
It marks ZTE HSUSB Device but it says it has no driver installed

Maybe it's time you tried a clean reset. The IMEI is unlikely to be wiped anymore...if you don't do anything drastic.
I would suggest you try MiFlash with the B19-NOUGAT_TWRP (Nougat 7.1.1) package from this thread, then flash the stock ROM afterward in TWRP.
