i have LG G2 4.4.2 and i can't use OSP because the app want me to update the computer software , i tried and when im launching "OSPLiveUpdate" it's open the software and it's still want me to update ...
what can i do ?

It indicates that your PC OSP tool is out of date.
Update it.
(if the Update button grayed out then reboot the PC)

Let's so down.
OSP is a built-in feature on the LG G2.
In order to use it, you need
1. turn on this feature on the G2 phone (under PC connectivity) AND
2. get the OSP tool installed on the computer that you want to use this feature
For item 2. you need to go onto the LG support site, download the tool then install it.
Do that first if you haven't done that yet.

If I understand you correctly, you do have the OSP tool installed on your PC AND you do turn on OSP feature on your phone.
Right? I assume that's what you said.
If that's the case, then reread my post above, UPDATE IT.
Update the OSP tool on your PC.
When you invoke (open) the tool, there will be an icon shown in the Status bar (where volume, network, action center, ... icon shown)
Click on it (can't remember RMB or LMB) to bring up its menu then select Settings.
From there, you will see the firmware version and Update button.

If the Update button grayed out then REBOOT your PC .......... then redo it (check and update it again)

Im sorry , okay look what i did , i reboot my pc , after i open again the settings and checked if the update button isn't grayed out , i found that it's grayed out ,,,
what can i do now ?

I can't remember on top of my head which is the latest, but if my memory serves me well, it should be 4.2.x.x something, not 4.0.x.x.
After rebooting, what is it now?

Same issue here. Latest version says 4.0.004.130823 which is what we have. But if we try to connect the phone to the pc it says please update software on pc.
I don't really know what you guys have done but I do it w/o any problem.
In fact, I just uninstalled everything and restarted from scratch.
Everything is OK as normal. It is on Windows 7.

I have used flashtool successfully before without a problem. I just got a new computer and I can't get it to work. When I hold the back button and plug the usb cable in nothing happens.
Ok so now windows is telling me that S1bootdownload driver is not found. How do I get this driver? Is it causing the problem?

Seems like I spoke to soon. Flashtool seems like it is working it even says at the end

When I go to turn on my phone its the same way as it was before. Nothing changed my apps were still there I even checked under settings and it still said android 2.3.3 when I flashed a 2.3.3 ftf file.
Also am I supposed to use the 2.9.1 beta or the 2.8. I can't remember which one I used before but right now I used the 2.9.1 beta.
After I flashed my phone shows the date as March 28, 1980

Hello Geeks out there! I deleted some Apps whit Rootacces and iam not able to use the Homescreen anymore, i dont see any applications and when i shortclick the menu button nothing happens. The buttons and everything is still working, also i did a Factory reset, which didnt solve the problem. Suggestions?
i didnt do a TWRP or custom recovery btw.

If you can't replace the items that you deleted, then you need to use Odin ( or Kies would probably work too) to reinstall a full stock firmware to fix your system. A factory reset only reverts user settings, it does not restore crucial system apps that have been deleted. Reinstalling the full firmware will replace the missing apps.

so i downloaded the odin exe and the stock firmware of my country, flashed it until almost the end and then it says fail.
what can i do? right now phone is in download mode, almost completed the flashing process and im afraid to do anything, but if i dont nothing happens.

Did you terminate all Kies processes in windows task manager and enable usb debugging on the phone? Just pull the battery, wait 20 seconds, reinsert it and press volume down + menu + power simultanious to get into download mode.

since i cant start my phone anymore (the samsung logo shows up and then it wont start) iam not sure about that. i usually never use kies and iam killing tasks, and im pretty sure i enabled usb debug

iam using kies now but my phone doesnt connect to it. my phone isnt anywhere.
im trying it whit de recovery guide in kies, but it dosnt show my phone anywhere at all.
later before i upgraded the stock firmware whitout kies.

You can either do a full flash letting it wipe everything or only update.
If you let it update it will only re-install bloatapps, the phone will be in exact same condition as pre-flash.
As a regular ota update would.

Most guides are utterly crap.
I'm away from my PC but find and download the newflasher program. That when run, will give you the option to extract drivers, do it, the right click on the inf file and install it. Now copy the new flasher program in to a folder with your new firmware in, make sure you downloaded the correct one.
Then turn off your phone, all the way. Hold down the vol down button and plug a usb cable to connect to your pc, give it a moment, nothing will happen on the screen, it will remain blank.
Now run the newflasher program again, forget the drivers as you have done that and let it do its thing.
Done.... Well it will be after about 10 Min, on your computer screen it will show you progress.
If no one has replied with links to the programs I'll do it but it's going to be a few days, I'm currently sailing across the ocean and my signal is about to vanish

If so, what was the last LG software version you used on your phone?
Also, yes I have an H815 and my camera and Bluetooth work perfectly

Ok. The way I do it (not generally spoken about but I find it works well) is to put it into download mode and use the update error recovery button in LG Bridge.
Be aware, this will wipe everything on your phone so make sure it's backed up

Well...you can get the kdz elsewhere and flash with LGUP but I generally find this best way

I'm confused. You want to restore your phone to LG software and it is currently using Lineage.
You must use a PC at some point. That app is simply to transfer contacts etc to your new LG phone
Either use my method (LG bridge update error recovery whilst in download mode) or download a kdz and flash in LGUP

Make sure you are in download mode.
Phone off. Then hold volume up and (whilst still holding volume up) plug in the USB cable connected to your pc. Keep holding vol up until the screen with the circle made of arrows appears.
Then see if it recognises it

You could try it on another pc if you still get a error it could mean your emmc chip is dead.
Or you could try it this way if your stick can take a sd card if does take a memory card do method 1a from this site.
