how to unlock bootloader? - Huawei P Smart Questions & Answers

Like, how exactly?
People says to get a code but we cannot get one no longer since huawei for some reason disabled that option.
Some others says to use DC unlocker. But, how do you exactly use that tool?
Here's the thing. whrn I enter in fastboot mode it says:
PHONE: Locked. (even tho i have oem unlock in dev options)
FRP: UNLOCK.
How can I get PHONE to be unlock??

Bonjour, tu dois donner de l'argent pour acheter des crédits ( sur le site ), cela va créer ton mot de passe .
Le problème c'est que tu ne sais pas combien de crédit tu dois acheter
I tried for my P10 and he asks me 15 €.
It's a little excessive because there is no guarantee of a good result

Rooting HTC Hero GSM 2.1-update-1 (3.41.61.31)

Hi lads,
So I've been trying to root my HTC (Hero GSM 2.1-update-1 (3.41.61.31), originally Orange Spain, but unlocked by code) for few hours now, haven't managed yet. All the articles I've found about rooting this phone seems to be quite old and none seem to be more recent than the latest OTA update they've sent.
Even the latest version of Androot (1.6.2 beta 5) doesn't seem to work; I keep getting a Failed ! No ~~~ Fu goo ~~~ seemingly clueless error.
Found some more hardcore ways to do it, but then again, all of them quite old and no one confirming if for the current version - I don't want to end up with an expensive paperweight
I want to root it in order to install the latest Froyo ROM (Oh, and if anyone have serious reason for opposing to the villainrom 1.7, I'd appreciate a headsup)
Please, could anyone refer me to the definite how-to-root-this-thing?
cheers mates,
f.
Hi!
Are you from Spain? I am and I spent all night trying to root or upgrade to some kind of distro, but there was no luck...
I had the same firmware and update as you, and... at the end I'll get it! :]
The thing was just go to htc page to download the "latest" drivers for your HTC Hero Orange (important to be orange cuz if not it won't be able to download -also it would ask for a serial number, just write it on-).
What you downloaded now is just to downgrade your cellphone and override all newer updates... Then your phone will be back in time to 1.5 (dino-droids!)
Yeeeey! I did a big party after that ¬¬
Well... then all you have to do is follow the steps for a common htchero unlock... you can apply androot, and put some roms and that...
En mi caso, me ha quedado un Hiro! de la ostia! :] va sobradamente más rápido que antes.
good luck!

Possible S-OFF HBOOT 1.01

Saw this today on an Chinese forum, this guy clames he found a solution to downgrade hboot 1.01 so you can S-OFF
I DID NOT TEST THIS BECAUSE I HAVE NO HTC LEGEND ANYMORE SO TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK
I truely hope this works as clamed for you legend users
And don't flame if it didn't work, as said before if I could I would of tested it before posting but I can't
It's translated by google but isn't easy to understand
Stated in other forums, reproduced, author of 367,175,652. Have little trouble themselves 6 is s-on.hboot1.01, can not change the first screen, the system can not remove the program. Today happened to see this post. To turn over. A master first experimental look feasible? Us a good suit. If the forum has the same post, please delete the administrator to help Um
recently felt fatigued on the G6, and want to change the first screen, I heard that as long as the S-OFF, or Gold on the line, I bought, it is the S-OFF, I excitedly in the past to replace it, and unfortunately did not succeed, show CID INCORRECT! this time I know I might get a white card machine, and hateful JS!
So determined to put forward their own true S-OFF, but did not expect this trial, spent a day before I finished fast (good thing I know some basic knowledge of LINUX, and BAIDU, GOOGLE great help of God), then release tutorials, and high HBOOT downgrade method, and the process of brush HBOOT to note, in particular, may be white card machine may encounter problems, I will do some shows.
Open brush:
1 First from http://alpharev.nl/, 1.8 ALPHAREV download mirror.
ps: the first, only supports HBOOT1.0 about, and as far as I know G6 eligible only HBOOT 0.43, it is generally not the HBOOT the need to consider a downgrade (downgrade tutorial I am going to write);
ROOT support only over the second The ROM (listen HTCDESIRE version of TX that best fitted BUSYBOX, but I do not mind this look myself); BUSYBOX Download: http://www.coolapk.com/download/apk/2755/stericson.busybox/
Third, it is best not to use open technologies like D2EXT ROM, the original best
2 this mirrored discs, CD or bootable USB can not do with a bootable USB-dials it, in fact, USB also very fast.
ps: remember to write in the mirror it BZIMAGE. into BZIMAGE, otherwise the time will be displayed with the boot disk can not find the bzImage.
3. The next step is to use boot disk to start the computer, then press operation on the computer screen can be a (and there are three steps, of which two steps are necessary hand speed, the tragedy of the G6 ah, I heard G7 can be fully automated, BS's, where the two steps mentioned in the note).
4 installation is complete, ROOT enjoy permanent happiness, saying that ugly clown picture).
Downgrade tutorial:
HBOOT1.01 the first students to download http://www.dkmdesign.dk/custom_roms/131/LEGEIMG.zip, then put it in the memory card, restart or shut down access to HBOOT interface (you can hold off the next volume keys, and then press the power button to start), HBOOT will automatically detect, verify the package, by asking whether the upgrade will, of course, select YES, and after brushing is HBOOT 0.43 a.
HBOOT1.00 students as far as I can not directly verify the downgrade (with heroes know, want to teach me), you need to upgrade to HBOOT1.01, then by the above method to downgrade. As for the upgrade to HBOOT1.01 is simple, as long as you install an original 2.2 ROM on it, attached here Download:
2.2 Hong Kong version of RUU: http://u.115.com/file/t5b1aab6bf
2.2 platform version RUU: http://u.115.com/file/t5e890140
Note:
1. If you can not detect your machine, please note that your machine is ROOT, ROOT does not please ROOT; If your machine has been also detected ROOT , you may hand the white card machine, and white card machine G6 brush ALPHAREV the ISO may not detect your machine, because it is detected inside the ALPHAREV.SH MID to test the machine, if you MID and the MID SH different default program will be treated as unable to support the machine, and can not brush. Because I do not know how to process the Brush screenshots so I can probably explain here under the general process of amending:
In ALPHAREV 1.8iso the ALPHAREV.SH, it is the default MID = PB7610000 to detect whether your machine is a LEGEND of If not, then sorry, your machine is not supported. But not worry, this can be changed, can not be detected in the computer display when your machine (I remember that English is YOUR PHONE IS NOT RECOGNIZED OR YOUR PHONE IS NOT SUPPORTED THIS TIME) while holding down the CTRL C, then the #,
then enter vialpharev.sh,
come in out of the picture, you can use PAGEDOWN, PAGEUP page down keys or turn the line, and then find the MID = PB7610000 this line, then press X to change it ALPHAREV detected at the beginning to your MID, hold down the SHIFT last colon, and finally press X, back to the terminal.
Finally, the terminal re-enter alpharev.sh, re-brush machine.
This time, your machine can be detected.
2 in Brush 3-step process, where the first two steps are necessary hand speed, the third step is automated, you just do not pull line or off, is generally not a brick, in theory, only the third step it may BRICK! The first two steps to pay attention when he appeared (after the point you are ready for any key, and keep an eye we remind you press the power button into FASTBOOT), this time the first phone you want to make sure you select fastboot option (ps: please Do not press the power button, or you come back), followed by free press any keyboard key, heart and silently count about 5-6 seconds, then press the power button, so your computer if you press the power button there, you just press it, the general You can not successful, which probably takes a few seconds to press the need for us to comprehend their own.
First time writing a tutorial, there is no picture really embarrassing, tragic, ah, please bear with it

Do you have a mirror of this file?
Please fix the mirror :/
I have a HTC Legend HBOOT 1.01.0000 with vodafone spain
I don't know so much about how to become S-OFF my legend.
I think I can downgrade the HBOOT to 0.43 an do it, but if i update the S-OFF will still be there?
Anyone know more about this topic?
I just found the post, I cannot mirror the file since I don't have it
The original post creator is talking about downgrading the hboot to 0.43, if you guys get to hboot 0.43 you can just use alpharev to S-OFF
But as said before the translation to English is like Chinese to us (ironic is it)
any news?
Did anyone try this possible S-OFF on a Legend 1.01.000?

A Google translation of china site:
Brush recovery method is to sd card formatted as FAT32 format, download the attachment me rename LEGEIMG.zip into the SD card inside.
Then press the start button to enter the volume increase under HBOOT mode will start automatically prompted to Brush. Follow the prompts to select yes start brushing machine.
Brush recovery interface between the first view is shown HBOOT Legend CVT SHIP S-OFF can use this post to provide the recovery, or can not brush.
ENG S-OFF of the students can not use the card the way brush brush Recovery, Recovery brush must rely on the computer or the phone's internal flash_image procedures. ENG S-OFF of a student if the RUU after the brush, the machine locked up immediately. Again, ROOT.
The SHIP S-OFF, students can use the card the way brush Brush. Even out the latest RUU after OTA or can easily upgrade and downgrade, because after brushing RUU, is still the S-OFF.
Uhhmm.. anyone tried? I can't really understand the instructions...
The file should be on the sdcard and then reboot to bootloader?
And after that the legend should have 0.43 and a ENG S-OFF bootloader?
Dumb kind of instruction. Ordered XTC Clip - made S-OFF with it. On the result reported here.
Did anyone try it?
It is possible to downgrade from HBOOT 1.01 to 0.43 in the HTC Legend?
As far as I understand is this just for wiping your recovery to the default... and you need s-off to do that
It's sucks!!! There is no method to became S-OFF!!
There is no method to downgrade HBOOT 1.01 to 0.43!! (only with the box)
There is no way to do with HTCdev!!!
I think HTC forget about all the HTC Legends!!!
Funny thing is that they (HTC) released unlocked bootoaders for Wildfire and Desire. Legend probably won't get one.
I've kinda wonder why...
Sent from my Legend using xda premium
Then tweet to @HTCDev that they should also support the HTC Legend.

More unlocked bootloader but not for HTC LEGEND...
IN ENGLISH:
HTC Adds Bootloader Unlock Support For More Devices - Desire Z, Aria, Droid Incredible, T-Mobile G2, Status, And ChaCha
If you didn't know, HTC has promised to provide bootloader unlock support for all devices released after September of 2011 as well as many others released before, and they have been keeping good on that promise with added support for many devices over the last few months.
They're still going strong, and added several more devices to the list earlier today.
There you have it, the newly supported devices are the HTC Desire Z, ChaCha, Aria, Droid Incredible, Status, and T-Mobile G2. If you own one listed above, you can head on over to the HTCDev website to unlock your bootloader now.
As always, you're warned of the potential harm you can do to your device with an unlocked bootloader, and it is strongly recommended that only experienced users proceed.

Support reply email from Huawei

Hello folks
Huawei provides their users an official way to unblock the bootloader here https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
The catch here is that you cannot get your bootloader code if you haven't been logged on the device with a Huawei ID for less than 14 days, so either you wait 14 days while logged on or use another unsupported method which will cost you about 5 dollars. I don't really care about the support statement of Huawei, I bought the device I didn't rent it, it is mine, and I can do whatever I want with it.
In my waiting time (the 14 days), I sent a query from the HiCare app asking to unblock my bootloader

Gentile cliente,

Well, I don't know what to tell you. My inquiry was sent to Huawei through the official channels, and I got an official reply from their Italian representation/legal team and as you can see, they said it is not supported! I think it depends on the modifications you do on your phone, if you unblock the bootloader or root/flash other custom firmwares etc.

I know man, I didn't even think you are accusing me of being a liar
Do you happen to know a way to take a full dump of the phone in case I flash it with a newers ROM and want to come back to the original Huawei firmware?
My device is NXT-AL10C00B156 original, no bootloader unlock yet, and I want to make a complete backup of it. Do you know a way of achieving this?
Ofcourse.unlock bootloader install twrp (recovery) and make a full backup (i have a guide here in xda) and if you want To root then... No problem

haha i think he meant to say hed like to do a complete system backup BEFORE unlocking the bootloader so that he can return his device to full stock in the future for warranty purposes

YES That is exactly what I wanted to do. Like a complete firmware dump before I do anything with the phone... just in case I want to revert back for some reason
hmmm....what you could try is do a fastboot backup: http://lifehacker.com/the-most-useful-things-you-can-do-with-adb-and-fastboot-1590337225
not idea tho how "complete" this kinda backup will be without root access....

If sombody has bought its Mate 8 from a Chinese seller and it was shipped from China, he might not even have a warranty in Germany (or EU), but might have to send the Mate 8 back to China for repair.
And the Chinese Huawei branch might have all the rights to consider a unlocked/rooted Mate 8 out of warranty.
The story is completely different for a customer who has bought its Mate 8 from a European Union seller: here the warranty repair is to be claimed from the seller and not the manufacturer (Huawei), as for the European consumer protection legislation.
Then Huawei himself might be legitimate to refuse to directly provide the warranty protection, because this is on charge of the seller and not of the manufacturer.
If an item you bought anywhere in the EU turns out to be faulty or does not look or work as advertised, the seller must repair or replace it free of charge or give you a full refund or reduction in price
