Any way to flash real GT08 firmware to maybe fake GT08 watch? - Other SmartWatches

I have recently bought a GT08 from Amazon (ZKCreation Smart Watch with SIM Card Slot Bluetooth Health Track Smart Wristwatch Independent Smart Phone Watch for Android IOS Smartphones (Black)) and was watching reviews about the GT08 smartwatch and some 'fake' GT08 videos popped up in the autoplay. I clicked on the video and seen that the 'fake' watches do not have Tools on the bottom right so I checked my one and was surprised to find out my one had Names on it! This led me to believe it was a fake one I bought so I looked online to find ways to flash the real GT08 firmware on to the fake GT08 watch ( this should theoretically be possible because the motherboards look the same) and found nothing. So I thought about posting this question here.
Extra Useful information about the suspicious smartwatch:
Using the *#8375# code gives me:
Code:
LD991F7_V7.0_A_GRD_
GT08_LX7789_SL3029_

So is it possible to flash the real GT08 firmware to this watch?
Another side-question is that will it work with Flash Tool since it has a MediaTek SoC (MT6261) just like the original GT08?

I think my gt08 is fake too.
Like u said icant acces videos or install apps and some codes dont work.

It's fake as it has 6261D chipset, not 6260 (6261's a dumbed down version)
You can't do much with it, I got a lemon too when I ordered a GT08
You won't be able to watch videos, use *#00000000#* to install games or install .vxp apps on it.

Thanks but unfortunatelly Mediatek Smart Device app not working on my Xiaomi Redmi 4/prime w/ Miui 8.1 firmware.
Is there any other free app doing the same function?
You need to delete the Fundo companion app before you install the Mtk smartdevice, there is a compatibility issue between the two apps.
Check the vxp watch face thread, some basic questions are answered several times.
k8 smartwatch watchface installed but not see in watch
I have installed mkt application and have connected install vxp watchface but not seen our k8 watch face what can do please guide me

DZ09 Confusion

Hey guys so i just got given one of these watches, basically a plastic body with a copper look metal plate, sure youve all seen these clones a million times, its ok for nothing, but apart from knowing its DZ09, how do i find out the manufacturer of this watch and the required details to be able to flash it, mod it, change the watch faces from the 3 boring stock ones etc.
Ive tried a couple of guides on here to extract the info, but very confused as my model doesnt seem to be listed anywhere on the internet with a tutorial.
I used the secret code method and gathered the following info -
MTK Soft Ver - 0x1303
MTK Hw Ver - Unknown

So does anyone have any idea of this clone, and what firmware it will accept, will it accept custom and can i alter the watchfaces and mod it.
I know how easy it is to brick things, and when it comes to Flashtool i have no experience at all, having only ever had Samsungs and Sonys in the past.
Any info regards this watch will be greatly appreciated.
Hello you are lucky and unlucky at the same time...i have one of it...but 2016/11/16 firmware but its the same caracteristic i think..from what i read it didn't worth to update or play with its firmware...one cool thing with this type of clone is that app store work as it use baidu browser...can you upload some photo of setting and menu please..just want to know the difference between 2016 and 2017 firmware

Simplest way in my opinion is not to root just flash maleskys rom for px5 he has is already with viper4android root and xpose all you do is download his rom for px5 take out the update.img from zip place on the root of sdcard then go into settings click update and let it flash dont bother updating mcu if all is fine with your unit until either you comfortable or in need of it as that is the part that is more risk of bricking this is just my opion it is up to you i take no responsibility reed his thread but i do recommend
Is it that easy?
Just download that file - Place it on an SD Card - In the unit - and click update in settings?
Then i have working Viper4android?
Do i still have the same languages settings ? (danish)

(fake?) Y1, want watch faces

Bought a cheap Chinese smartwatch over the Internet, seemed a Y1 but now I think it's a fake.
Used code *#8375# to get some info, which look as follows:
[VERSION]: K13-COB-Y1- IPS7789BOE-BDYD-ZH-V06.563- 20180507 [BRANCH]: 11CUMEOX_61D_BT_11C
I think it has the Mediatek MTK6261D chip.
The pedometer seems fake as well and counts 7 steps every 7 seconds. The screen waking gesture doesn't work.
Inserted a 16G spare microSD card I had, and confirmed the watch is able to read it.
Tried to install some other watch face with the Mediatek SmartDevice Android app. The app recognizes the watch as a Y1 but I can't install any watch face.
Any help available? Thanks

Can you upload FULL_FLASH Backup please?
I have to get comfortable before with all these tools to download and upload watch firmwares, plus, I don't have a Windows computer (just virtualized Windows XP and Linux Mint on a MacBook).
I had this same question
[VERSION] K13-COB-Y1-IPS7789HSD-QCY-KS-V.1429-20180522[BRANCH]:11CUMEOX61D_BT_11CBUILD:_NO SERIAL#:[BUILD TIME]2018/05/22 12:25[MRE VERSION]3100HAL_VERNO:
Thank you.
If everything goes well, I receive a Y1 watch today.
Is it difficult to make a backup of the firmware?
Cause if it is not too difficult, I would try to make it and share the rom with you. It would be nice to install additional faces to this watch.
OK I got
1) FlashTool_v5.1516.00
2) mtk drivers v1.1032.1
3) Readback Extractor mtk 2.4
I'll try to run them on a XP virtualbox istance in my Mac.
Could anybody please point me to a guide to backup the original firmware, so that I can upload it here?
Thanks.

Alidesheng Head Unit - Mediatek MT6580M

Posting this to see if anyone has these head units and about any possibility of development on them.
If anyone can interpret anything useful out of the information below, that would also be helpful.
I found a thread on 4pda discussing this, but thought I would post here to see if XDA is able to assist as well.
CPU Model - MediaTek MT6580M
Kernel Architecture - 4x ARM Cortex - A7
Manufacturer - LeTV
API - 27
Android - 8
System Version - OS_v2.0.5WF_GWI_DNYB
Kernel - Linux 3.18.79
MCU - CM_19.07.09_19.54
RAM - 2Gb
Internal memory - 16/32/64 Gb
I have attached some photos of the information presented on the head unit and also from CPU-Z and AIDA64.

I have the same unit. Figure how to root and make USB modem work? Thanks
Also of note is that this head unit is sold as running Android 9, but when checked via Android settings/CPU-Z/AIDA64, it indicates that it is actually running Android 8.1. The first image on the first post shows the inaccurate information screen they have put on the unit that falsely states the unit is running Android 9.0.

I found the following posted elsewhere. I believe they said this is a copy of the firmware they received after requesting it from the seller of the head unit.
I have not tested this personally, so I don't know if it will flash successfully or not. Proceed at your own risk.

Please search for it based on the information given.
I would post the link but I am not certain of the rules on this forum regarding linking to external sites.
How do i install It? Sorry i'm a Noob
Help please!
Anyone find a way to root this device yet?
Just thought I would bump this for those interested:
Wanted to update that in the thread on 4pda, users have made a lot of progress with this unit.
- Multiple versions of firmware available, including some modified ones. E.g. There is a modified firmware on there which fixes a bug where the unit would not save a new selection of default firmware.
- Some have figured out where to solder a usb connection in order to use adb and fastboot. This also allows for one to rescue an otherwise "bricked" head unit from a botched firmware install, etc.
- I think they have also explored various issues beyond this.
So thus far, it seems the thread on 4pda has been the primary source for development/user discussion for this head unit. Nonetheless, I thought I would update. Input from users of this head unit would be welcome, e.g. if anyone has tried the new firmware, etc.
it seems the 4pda site is all in Russian I think? any chance someone can post the links to the firmware downloads here? if allowed of course.
