I am having trouble to download the official ROM for my ASUS zenfone 2 laser. The download link is dead everywhere. I need to flash my mobile. Can anyone help me by providing a live link of official Marshmellow ROM
official Asus Website download page is the best source.
Select your model
click on support
Click Drivers and Tools Tab
Select your OS as Android
And you will get list of all Firmware for that particular model.
Select your ROM version according to SKU.

Hi, I've got a Zenfone 6 with bootloader unlocked whit stock ROM and I would like to have the OTA update.
I tried to understand where was the problem and on internet I found that the problem could be that the SKU version isn't the same of ROM version. So I went in the bootloader/fastboot mode and I see that the version match but the product_name is ASUS_T00F that is the code of Zenfone 5. I tried to flash the recovery and the fastboot with the .img file for version 3.23.40.52 that is the ROM version but nothing the product_name it remained ASUS_T00F.
I have no idea how to solve. Somebody help me
If needed I remain available for other information.
Notice that the phone should be converted from TW to WW ROM but not from me I have bought it from an online site.
P.s: If my English is horrible I'm sorry but I'm italian and my English is limited to a basic knowledge
As We got Unlock tool for Boot-loader for Asus zenfone max 8939 on 2/8/2017,
But the problem is there is no TWRP recovery image is available in XDA and neither the coustom for the th same model ,,The 1st Gen model asus Zenfone max 's unlock tool was available from long back so as a result this device got the TWRP Image devlped and Custom ROM , but in this 2nd gen 2GB/3GB model with 32GB internal storage just now received the Unlock tool .
So i want to request the developers to please someone work on this model and make available TWRP and Custom rom for this model . i will be deeply thankfull for this attempt and By then i ready to help who wants to work on this ,

there's a bug in the app, which always says my battery is below 50% even though it's more than that. it doesn't let me flash.
Any way of doing the same manually ?

Wipe stuff in TWRP or any other recovery and then flash the firmware on the ASUS website.

I was like you and I found this and believe me it is the easiest method. It flashes firmware 316 and 340. Afterwards you will automatically get official update for pie.

I tried official and unofficial ways and cannot unlock my bootloader. I also tried to downgrade using the files available in Asus support page, but it don't work too.
Someone can help us in unlocking in Android 8 or help us with the downgrade? All the links to stock RAW files available around here and in 10 pages of google search are broken...

@CharlesDicken Look at the Support page from Asus site and download the most recent Unlock Tool. (0819-1438_SIGNED_UnlockTool_9.2.0.0_200807_fulldpi_ZE552KL.apk). With this version, I was be able to unlock my Zenfone 3 and proceed with TWRP, Magisk and root in the end.

I Have an ZE550KL (Z00LD) where i flash lineage 15 (with this one below, for test, but always reboot on TWRP screen after lineage logo!!).

you can get your SKU from settings>information>software information, you must install same rom with your devices SKU
for example my SKU is WW
WW -> WW
JP -> JP
CN -> CN
so i must install WW SKU rom
SKU is the country that you purchased your phone from.
