Asus zenfone zs571kl a002 stuck on Asus logo - Asus ZenFone AR Questions & Answers

Hello. First i would like to state that i am a newbie on android. A few days ago i unlocked bootloader as described on this forum. Installed magisk and twrp. Everything went well, except i lost my wifi. So i googled around, and found a fix somewhere around the internet that i could install the latest firmware from Asus via twrp. So i did. No backup ofcourse? Now my phone only boots to Asus logo. Can get to fastboot menu, recover does not work, neither twrp. So i googled some more, and i am able to connect to phone with adb and fastboot commands. Also got Twrp running fastboot boot twrp.img. But i am stuck here and don’t know what to do anymore. Is my phone a lost case? Anybody out there who can guide me with solution would be apreciated?

Help!! Nexus s 4g stuck on "Google" icon

Followed these instuctions:
http://nexusshacks.com/nexus-s-hacks/how-to-root-nexus-s/
My phone is now stuck at the google logo and will not go past. After rooting and clockwork i was not able to load anything else but i would not boot.
Please help.. Thank You
seriously? there is like 4 threads on how to root it, and you go with one that you shouldnt.. lol
it had pictures.. lol
all the threads on here talk about specific phone models and i wasnt sure so i just went with it... Bad choice on my part..
hopefully someone can help
load up fastboot and try to get to recovery if you can then awesome.. try wiping everything and see if that fixes anything
Pull the battery, hold volume up and power and follow this post to get into recovery. Then like shabby penguin said, when you get into recovery wipe everything and you should be good to go. Again, the post I linked you to is the proper way to root the 4g...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13570498&postcount=5
i can get into recovery and i wiped the phone, but still doesnt help.

Oh, guess I didnt catch that.
ok your best bet it to go into fastboot and flash the clockworkmod 3.0.2.4
did you do the oem unlock command?
yeah i did the oem unlock.
ok well assuming you followed the directions from this guy, then you have a diff bootimg on there i can toss a few files that may fix it, but no garuntees...
seriously tho
(You should see that “LOCK STATE” says “UNLOCKED”, meaning your Nexus S is rooted.)

is posted on his site.. that would be a good indicator to me to stop listening to anything he said.. he then later in the comments was trying to help someone and told them if usb wasnt working then use a microsd adapter to put the files on..
yeah i am kicking my self in the a$$. Is there anyway do just get it back to stock?
well have you tried flashing a kernel? if it gets to bootani then its usually rom erros, freezing at spalsh screens is generally kernel images
is it possible to load a kernel when i cant see the phones memory from the computer???
someone has to have some idea of to fix this...
just got me to stock unrooted phone.. please
yes, download this
boot into fastboot and type in fastboot flash boot /path/to/natarchy.img
replace /path/to with where its located.. this should get you rollin again
thank you... thank you... thank you!!!!!!!!
i have learned my lesson and i wont stray from the xda forum next time.
Again thank you
I have a similiar issue as OP...I tried to flash netarchy kernel with kernal manager and then phone rebooted and got stuck at google logo.
I have installed SDK...google drivers, but when I try to flash the kernel I get waiting for device in command prompt. Same error when I type "fastboot oem unlock"
Any ideas?

Waiting for device means Windows does not recognize phone. Reinstall drivers.
ok sounds like a driver issue, i used pdanet to install the drivers i needed. try fastboot devices, if it doesnt show anything then your phone isnt connected
Ok used my mac and was able to get cwm recovery on device. I could mount it. Now how can I flash back to stock. I9020A att 3G version. Booting now I see google and a lock.
Thanks everyone!

Hi all,
As mentioned in the title, an update from LG came for my 802 and suddenly, it booted and entered TWRP.

Use the terminal command if you can't use ADB... might work?
That's what I did, because AT&T stops giving you the option to not update after a couple times, and then I got stuck like you.

please learn to search and read before doing stuff on your precious phone

i did use the terminal and got into the boot loop.
Cannot perform any operation trough command because it gives me an error saying that the adb shell is error closed.
I'm now trying something else with some LG tools I found here. Hope it works, if it does, I'll repost the link here.

I'm not sure what happened for you, because the terminal command worked for me... maybe you mistyped it, or maybe you had a slightly different problem or something. Not sure.
Guys,
I finnaly managed to have my device working.
Trough ADB shell and then trough ADB I was able to copy a downloaded ROM (FLEX rom) to the device and installed it.
After a couple of hours, all is OK.
THANK YOU ALL FOR THE HELP AND INFO!!! (PS: sorry for the caps)

I just started having this same issue.
I can't get into recovery from the bootloader in order to perform section 13. Once hit recovery, it's back to looping boot screen with white Google text.
Just got finished with Google phone support. They're sending me a new device. It must be a hardware failure.
Background: I got OTA notification on Friday night. I downloaded and hit install. Then after a while it said there was an upgrade error, and to please try again. But it was going to have to download the 1+ GB OTA file again, so I just said screw it, i'll do it later. Here am I 2 days later with a broken phone. Thinking this has to be related.
Stock phone, locked bootloader. Running 6.0.1

I am hoping to collect enough data to figure out a solution for all effected.
is your BL locked and device encrypted?
When you try to load recovery, does it ask for password?
try entering your last google account email password if so.

Hi Heisenberg,
I ran into this problem today with my phone stuck on Google screen. I tried to use your guide and put my phone in recovery but it just goes back to rebooting and just shows the "Google" logo so if I can't get the phone into recovery then I won't be able to use your guide right? Is these any other way to solve this problem or am I screwed?
Also how can this problem be prevented in the future if I got new phone under warranty? Do I root and flash pure Nexus ROM and backup images?
Thanks,

Hello... Try to look here:

For your second question, it's hard to tell... Making regular backups may help protecting your datas, but can't help your new phone to start acting crazy...
I have been doing weekly backups to my pc. I backup my TWRP, TBU, Super Backup, DCIM and download directories.

Any ideas are any solution when I have custom rom?
EDIT: Not needed, seems that wife phone has motherboard problem because now it will stuck in TWRP screen.
I am pretty sure I had this problem before. Actually within hours of purchasing and rooting. Lol go into fastboot and install factory images. If you were able to get into recovery you could use adb to oem unlock.. but that doesn't sound like an option.
My phone died last night in a bootloop death. Thankfully here in the UK we have a 2 year warranty so Huawei are taking it back. I mentioned "bootloop issue" and the tech guy stopped asking the standard stuff and just sent me a returns bag.
Try this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/confirmed-hardware-defects-nexus-6p-t3610405
Quickly enable bootloader unlocking, then follow the tutorials already known for 4-core recovery
Well I've now got a different phone back from Huawei as they told me they no longer have replacement motherboards available.

Recover photos from nexus 6p bootloop

Ok, so I have nexus 6p that has entered into the dreaded bootloop right before i was able to upload my photos from my recent vacation. I am able to get into fastboot and recovery mode and was wondering if there is a way to get my photos off of it. I have been trying to use NRT pull command but it is giving me ABD Recovery device was not found. (phone is on bootloader) and I have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit:locked bootloader and no USB Debugging

Hello... What happened to your phone? Maybe it's yet time to fix your bootloop. Since you have access to recovery, it's not totally dead...
I guess you have the stock recovery?
Boot into recovery and select: apply update from ADB. From here, see if your device is recognized: ADB devices. Maybe you can try to pull your files from here. I'm not sure it will works, but worth to try!
Good luck...

BLOD is usually indicated when you have no recovery mode. Is your bootloader unlocked? Even if you are locked you can still apply an OTA and maybe fix your phone. Side loading an OTA will not wipe your data but may help recover your phone.

Hello,
It seems you have access to fastboot so refer to this thread, unbrick tools are both
for android 9 and 10. See post #2 if you have t mobile variant.
Ask if you have questions you find many kindly users here.
Cheers :fingers-crossed:
