So do you have a s8 or 9 either way it sounds like your flashing older firmware than on the device. Hence that error. Try finding version 3 bootloader of your firmware

I have been fiddling with an ATT S8 for days, switch to TMB + upgrade to 8.0 at the same time. I've learned a TON because of everyone here and I've made my own mistakes.
I was running into fused and fails and this seemingly simple but overlooked information really solved my issue and helped me proceed to the final stages. You are amazing, thank you.
BTW A little tip for everyone... Unlock your SIM BEFORE you flash other roms, firmware or try changing carriers... If you don't, you may have to go back to the original carrier Firmware before their SIM Unlock code will work.

I was finally able to know the problem.
I was flashing wrong variant.
For example flashing Africa variant on us at&t gives complete write failure.
Flashing any at&t version worked. Both 6 and 7.
Better still I got this:- https://forum.xda-developers.com/at...7-0-g935uoym4bqd2-4-11-17-g935u-t3616834/amp/
So I managed to flash 7 with ota updates. Now am on bra1.
So you needed the international version. Nice.

UN-Lock Samsung Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime SM-G570M (Android 7.0) 2018

Hi, I have a Samsung Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime SM-G570M, it is this year January 2018, with the new security level and Android 7.0, It has Operator (Claro!) and it comes from Colombia.
I need to UN-Lock it and they tell me, first that I degraded it to 6.0.1 to be able to Flash the Recovery CWM and after to rotate it with the Binary SuperSU, the problem is that all the positive attempts I have seen are with Android 6.0.1 and security of the year 2016 or 2017 and I do not know if it results with this Model 2018.
Try Odin3 Flashar but I get an error and have the Security Sector Enabled ("Secure Download: Enabled") in Download Mode:

Z3X Samsung Pro Tools has supported binary 2 since ~v31.1. I recommend using a system-less root to achieve the needed results and then reflashing to stock when done.
P.S. Ensure to enable OEM unlock in developers just in case.

This Kernel model in particular has not been left Rooted, when I try it comes out an error message in red, so I was told this model and year, with security 7.0, does not allow it and has to be released with the server requesting (or rellback) with a file that they send to be loaded and flashed with or executed by odin, since the phone does not allow the introduction of the unlock code by screen and keyboard of the mobile.
If I'm wrong or they've given me false information, I hope someone does it to me. Nobody wanted to give me true and valid information, probably to avoid spreading or lost money, I do not know!

Samsung galaxy A40 does not start

Hi everyone,
I have the following problem with Samsung A40 SM-A405FN: (phone from Polish distribution)
When trying to start the phone hangs on the first screen (Samsung Galaxy A40 secured by Knox) and does not even go to the "scratching" logo of Samsung. I have already tried many options, i.e. factory reset, wipe partition, download mode - and here software uploading by Odin. Different versions that theoretically uploaded to the phone but still hangs on the first start screen. I still tried to upload COMBINATION_FAC_FA90_A405FNXXU2ASF2_BY Windows4Droid but here, unfortunately, unsuccessful:

<ID: 0/030> Re-Partition operation failed. --- in this case in odin I did not check the additional re-partition option.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
and a message appears on the phone in download mode
Current Binary: Samsung official
FRP LOCK: ON
OEM LOCK: ON (L)
"please get the approval to use factory binaries (pit)"
Uploaded software is 4 files, one file, attempts with PIT file (extracted from * .md5).
What can you still check to pick up the phone?
How can you check if the partition is OK?
If it's the wrong department, please move it to correct session.
