It is supposed to work that way i think .. my guess goes as this : the Mate 10 Lite is equipped with a Li-Ion battery .. and i read that this type of batteries can fail to boot up the device after a few full discharges .. not really sure why but that's the best guess for why the phone is designed to switch itself off automatically on 2% to prevent any kind of "battery failing" .. and btw mine does the same thing so it's not just you

Thank you for the reply.. relieved to know that its not an issue and it does this with everyone's mobile .

I also think its a kind of emergency feature, so there is still alittle battery left if you need to call the police or an ambulance.

[Q] I have replaced my charger , battery is damaged !! HELP

I have lost my original charger ,so I have order another one from here :
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380751287837?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
After this , my battery performance has decreased nearly to the half.
Here is what I get every day , ( in the pictures )
What I have noticed for more than a week is this : every time my battery reaches 37% , it decreases like I am using it heavily although I am not using the phone AT ALL !!
Is the charger I bought fake ?
Is there anyway I can fix the problem ?
Any advice ??
Would you recommend any ebay seller to buy new orignal battery.
Thanks.
To me it just looks like the battery is not calibrated. Try to calibrate the battery and see if it works.
my battery too. when it reaches 37% it decrease more quick than normal. Use caribrate no work but dont worst like your battery. I use original charger

BATTERY

Hey people!
I want to ask you about your opinion, i have problem with battery drain on my p8, service "System Android" and "Android OS" seems to drain battery most even in night when its not used, and while 8 hours not using it (wifi on / sync on) battery was from 100 to about 85, i dont know what to do because i just got the mobile, but i (damn) unlocked bootloader so i want to ask you, is there any possibility that in warranty time they will look at it and could (if is) fix broken battery in mobile?, or is there any hope to lock bootloader? please help if you can, thank you.
Many users facing battery drain - many of them with Google Play Services, others Mobile Standby, others Android system, i red a lot and i concluded its bug in Lolipop.

I lose 2-3% during sleep ( 8 hours), I get that by disabling everything (gps, wifi, data, bluetooth) during sleep, also use the "phone manager app" then go to ->power saving->scroll down to protected apps -> uncheck all the apps that you don't want to stay on after the screen is off. Also use Greenify to hibernate system and user installed apps. All the suggestions will improve the battery life. With my setup i get 5-6 hours screen on time. Usually with no heavy use i get 1 day and a half , with heavy around 12 hours.

[BATTERY 30% DROP TO 20%] Any users experience this

Any user of K4/A7010/X3 LITE experiencing this major bug of marshmallow s232 stock rom/lollipop stock rom.
See the photo in the circle coded.
Fix
1. Charge your k4 from 2-70% then after you fully consume charge it again from 2-30% battery.
2. Charge it everytime you consume of total 100%. (70+30%)
Note:
- YOU ONLY GOT 2-5% DROP Depending ON BATTERY STATE
It happens with my device.
Me too have same problem
any rnswer please
Battery drops from 30 to 20 on k4 note
Im facing the same problem could anyone suggest me the solution to resolve this problem as i have tried all the possible means.
i am facing the same problem
me too but from 40%-20%
I was facing this same problem, and when I rode the solution, on Xda, it seems very tough, and according to me, most easy way is to just switch off your mobile phone when your battery reaches the battery % where it starts to suddenly drop, (40% in my case) and then restart after some time, this will solve your problem. Or just put your mobile on charge (at 40% or whatever is your case) and after 2-3 mins remove it, this will work too, I'm 100% sure for both ways!
Thank me later??

Phone's laggy, bad battery life, toasty (only when outside)

I have A G935FD and when I first bought it. it was a bit laggy but much less than now. The battery lasted like 6h sot (8 months ago, fast charged it only once and it mostly started happening after that, also kept it next to a fan while doing that it's next to a fan while charging all the time since I already have one on my desk anyway).
When I'm outside even when I'm not doing anything special (Just talking to a friend on discord, Checking Instagram, reading an article on Google chrome) it gets very very very hot! it happens more in my grand mother's house for some reason. even though it still has full antenna there!
The battery life now is like 3.5H 3H 4H!
I'm currently downloading the Indonesia Firmware! maybe re flashing it with ODIN will help. mine was actually another but I guess since it was released later it's a bit better?!
can anyone help me?! any suggestions c:
Display drained 16%
Android System drained 12%
Idle is 9%
cell standby is 7%
android os is 7%
chrome 5%
Googleplay services 3%
instagram 3%
AnyConnect 3%
Disocr and wifi 1%
and that's most of them

Maybe I should try a custom rom? I rather use stock android but whatever you suggest! I rather only do it if necessary since it still has warranty and stuff!
First go into recovery mode , do a wipe cache and factory reset , if that doesnt solve the issue , flash the original stock firmware through odin , i would not recommend flashing a custom rom as your phone is under warranty. If after flashing , problems still persist , then for the lagness and heating i can't say , it may be a hardware problem , but for the battery you can do a calibration , turn off fast charging , and never use it , first your battery should be at 3% or 4% , enter this code in dailer *#0228# , when you enter this you will see a info page but dont touch or tap anything especially that quickstart option ... dont try to touch that. just press back button and exit the menu, now drain your battery till phone doesnt turn on , then go in download mode , and let the phone be in download mode till it is dead again , now the battery is completely drained , now put the phone on charge and dont touch it until it is 100% and green light shows, it should improve battery , but if that doesnt improve anything and lagness/heat is still there , then you should go to samsung service centre and claim warranty if anything is faulty, btw my current SOT time is 6 to 7 hours , i dont experience heatness issue in normal use , and there is not that much of lagness that would annoy me. Good luck to you.

Draining my battery to 0 sounds scary since i know li-ion batteries but I guess I'll give it a try. I don't think the warranty will be useful but I'll try anyway c: Thanks a lot! <3
I'll update this further in case anyone's wondering but I flashed the newest firmware with odin and didn't use the Home_csc. But I want to say already everything feels smoother. But battery will take a bit to judge. It's still at 80% but I removed it from my fake wireless charger and moved it to wired (not fast though) to speed up things and let it cool down slightly (I should add a manual fan to it ) and i'll update here c:
Thanks for yourhelp!
Always do a factory reset and wipe cache after flashing a new firmware , also dont use fake chargers as they may also cause these heating ptoblems , well i also suffer heating issue when using tethering while charging , have you tried using any temp monitoring software to know how hot it gets ?

Wow bro your phone is even cool than mine
Anyways do a battery calibration as i posted earlier , doing this one time in a month won't harm your battery lifespan
Without calibration it actually got 5-5:30 battery life to absolute 0%. recalibration actually made it a bit worse but I guess I'm ok with that! it's not as bad as 3-4h now and I can use it without having to recharge it in middle of the day.
and also life advice:
if you disable fast charging it gets MUUUCH cooler my case (fake samsung charger that supports it, wireless ofc) and put a small 80mm pc fan next to it and I bet you it won't go higher than 27 degrees on any condition
disable fast charging

Battery draining strange on J530F, cell standby and device idle

Hi guys, I am using a j5 2017 but it.s very strange battery drains quite fast in comparison with the old phone. I see strange drain at Cell standby and device idle. I will post some photos, I don.t understand why it drains battery for staying idle. Thanks very much, help is appreciated. Cheers.
PS: j5 is brand new, 1day old... Is this hardware failure? Although i.ve read others are complaining same problem.
Sent from my SM-J530F using Tapatalk
Screenshots are here
That's normal man. 48% of screen because you use phone and 12% cell phone is about one longer call. It holds about day so it's okay. If you want to push it longer just root it and install custom rom + grenify
Thanks for answer
Hi folks,I am using samsung j5-00f model.
I am facing the following problems
1.mobile not charging (although it shows charging)
2.As I was saying "It shows charging".. it behaves strange.. it controls iself
...now as I remove/unplug the cable .. it still behaves strange(controls itself)...( untill I restart the device)
3.I have formatted the mobile... yet not charging
4.I have tested with a new battery ( yet it just shows charging but it doesn't) .. confirms that battery works good
5.tried different cables and chargers ( includuing original and trubo )
someone please help me ... I recently have had my mobile motherboard changed ... so I am kinda worried if that
happens again .... ( please let me know how far would this issue cost go if I submit it to a service centre...
do I really have to change its motherboard or might it just get fixed by changing the connector or port or ic
something like that..) ... additionally, using an extenal battery charger I came to know that the battery is working
fine...
update : its been a month and the service center guy keeps postponing ... says ic is not available
please help me ... Thanks in advance...
