Help Requested

Hello everybody,
A few weeks ago i update my P8 Lite from B181 to B550 but i got the Balong bug but since very people said to me that this bug don´t affect the daily use of the phone, i don´t mind with it. But a few days ago, my phone from nowhere start to install a update ( i don´t selected anything) and after the update my phone was tottaly clean, like, no apps, no files, nothing! the phone memory was completly gone!
Now i´m think is better to go back to Stock ROM, but i need help because some people said that install via local update the original firmware works ( i don´t have the option to choose local update like i have in B181 before update) and other people said that the process is a little bit more hard.
So, can someone help me please?
My Phone is locked to Vodafone Portugal (Single SIM). Like a said before update to B550 i was in B181

First of all you b550 is for dual sim,you have single sim so you need b551.
Second b550/1 it's stock rom,it's just stock 6.0
Balong bug appears when you flash a firmware that is not for your country so in order to get rid of balong,just flash the file from vendor/custom folder that cames in the archive of your last firmware downloaded.
Is your bootloader unlocked?

can you please explain me better what do you mean with flash the file from vendor/custom (...) ???

p9 lite bricked, i need the b125 full!

I have installed the b161 update nobrand on my vodafone p9 lite, now i can't complete the initial setup, i searched for the vns-l31c02b125 full update, but i found only the ota, someone can help me?

I had the same problem last weekend,
Just install the L31C02B123 and the update to the B125 via OTA.
Downside is that you'll loss root and all. I hope you have a backup.

hello, i'm using Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L21. i tried to flash the stock nougat Firmware Which i actually did and it worked flawless! but there was a little problem because there wasn't any Software update option in there, so after that i wanted to downgrade to stock MM. IDK what happened wrong while installing that, my phone got BRICKED. i don't have the Erecovery and twrp either. i cant flash firmware via DLOAD Method. the only thing i have is FASTBOOT mode..
i tried literally everything.. but nothing working..
I sent it to HUAWEI CUSTOMER CARE and they returned it back after a couple of days...
im really very worried because ive been using this phone for like 2 months ... and now im helplesss, If anybody is reading this please help/ assist me out of this.. Thanks in advance!

Debrand from vns-l21 to vns-l31

Hello everyone. I have a question.Before that, I want to tell my story. Originally my phone is from china,which version is g9 (vns-dl00). At the first time I used the phone, I got notification for updating firmware. I followed the step and then when I saw the "about phone", my firmware turned into vns-l21c432c160. My question is, why the firmware turned into l21 instead of l31 cause I have 3gb of ram? And secondly, is it safe to flash the l31c432bxx firmware on my phone? Thank you and I really appreciate if there anyone who can help to answer my questions.

Thank you for responding,sir. I've heard about changing oeminfo thing. Unfortunately, I couldn't get unlock bootloder code from huawei website. Always "14 days"stuff appeared.

I need assistance

Can someone please provide me with an unbranded P8 GRA-L09 firmware package please!
I'm on GRA-L09C02B397 6.0 firmware but it's filled with vodaphone bloatware and branding! Also, I know there's newer updates after B397 but when I check for updates, it says no updates found, another reason why I need help to go unbranded. I've tried the guide on here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p8/how-to/clean-debranding-p8-gra-l09-t3210658/page8) but no luck, it repeatedly flashes the huawei logo and doesn't let me get into the updater. I would be VERY grateful if someone can help me

Someone got succesfull updated to b198 or b199

Hi mates , i tried to update my was-lx1c432b197 to b198 and its keeps giving me errors , i checked if its aproved and it is but i still cant manage to updated it. I tried with OTA-M update then with the Full-OTA, tried with dload methode and download the update.app from huawei firmwarefinder site , still nothing. Can someone helped me?

Yes mate. I was able to upgrade to b198. And there is no b199 its only for single sim

I think im with single sim cuz i have only one IMEI not like before with honor 5c there was 2 imeis but that's not the point, i cant install b198 and i have open bootloader , and i cant install any software , when i try to install its giving me update fail get help from emui site. So any help im stuck with open bootloader

yeah my phone is single sim i tried with two sims but it register only one
