EDIT-- Nevermind, i found it

Still nothing here.

Nothing here as well. Current version R16NW.N950USQS4CRE1 (May 1, 2018)

Lol its funny. There rolling the july patch update out in other places. We in the us are still on may. I wounder if there going to skip june and just push july. To us.

That's what i'm thinking. It's already play store certified and passes safetynet. So, if we do get June patch, it won't be long before we get July, in my opinion.

If not here by end of next week, will have to wait for August patch.

Lol still on may. I couldn't care less for security updates but June brings the video lock screen which I want

I'm going to have to start installing the leaked builds if they don't give us the update soon.......I'm tired of waiting lol

Just got 5CRF6 July patch on U1 on Sprint

Not yet for me, maybe Friday.

It's August and still stuck on may lol

Just got an OTA on Verizon (10 July).

I would advise against it, if you want root, and possible bootloader unlock. It may not cause any issues, but why risk it?
Did you get the one that bumped you up to 11A yet? And how big does it say the file is?
I got an update on sprint that I'm passing up on myself until I see more about it

What version are you on now? If you are on 11A and getting an update, it is a new one.
I know it could be meaningless because they could be pushing it out in waves, but I am on 11A and an update check shows there is nothing out there.
Got the update last night.never took it though..my build #right now on sprint is lmy47d....guys do NOT update until root has been pushed out to us..could be nothing but then again why chance it...

Could someone please explain to me what being on 11A means? I don't recall if this is the update that disabled downgrading or not, if so that sucks.
EDIT: Apparently it is, well my excitement & anticipation been shot down quite a bit. -.-, sad really because I purchased this phone July 1st, shouldn't have this update on it...especially from eBay, shame.

Got an official security update after 1.5 years.

This morning, I turned it on and found that there was a security update. I thought Samsung had completely abandoned it and was going to disable automatic update check.
Perhaps I hoped too much. I was hoping that the version would go up from 5.0.2 to 5.1, but the version remained the same. The only changes I have found are
1. Security Patch Level is now 2016-11-01
2. System Panel does not show process names any more.
Well, at least they have not completely abandoned it yet.... or have they?
No update here, but if true, that's quite a positive surprise!

March 19th OTA update
I just got an OTA update on March 19th, 2017. Bestill my heart...
Software updated P905VVRSBPL1
Android 5.1.1
^Me too. 63,55 MB! Seems to be a security patch.
My two tablets just received about 60MB updates. Installing now
Edit: both security updates with weird names
Hello how you get this update on my lte p905,i'm still on 5.02
The security update doesn't change the Android version. Try Smart Switch or the sammobile website!

V20e-SEA-XX| New nougat update for the h860 (Singapore)

You can download the update now through LG Bridge, if you prefer the kdz file you can download it from here
The update was released on the 28/4/17
Android Security Patch level is April 1, 2017
Kernel 3.18.31
Size: 2.64gb
Now you would think that an update that would be as heavy as 2.64GB would be the glorious long awaited nougat 7.1.2, but think again :^)

Nope haha this is for the Singapore device! not the taiwan!
it is somewhat theoretically POSSIBLE to still be able to flash it on your Taiwan, but I wouldnt do that if I were you, you'd might just brick your phone!
TBH the signapore firmwares SUCK and have an incredible battery drain, I think you better off flashing the Honk Kong one on your phone, just make sure to see if someone were able to successfully flash it on their Taiwan device!
20g
Just wanted to share that yesterday updated my H860 TWN to 20g AME, so far no issues.

XDA NEWS: LG G5 Android Oreo update is imminent in Korea as kernel sources are posted

--- asdfasdfasasdfasdfasdfasdfdfasdf ---
IT'S ALMOST HERE!
Published on XDA-Developers at July 3, 2018 2:36pm: https://www.xda-developers.com/lg-g5-android-oreo-kernel-sources-korea/
Thanks to XDA Member cheeze.keyk, we can see that LG has posted Oreo kernel sources for the F700K, F700L, and F700S, which are Korean model names for the G5. This means the Oreo update should be rolling out soon to those devices and hopefully more variants soon after.

Soon spotless (hopefully) Oreo ROMs will be coming thick and fast... Brilliant! (quote @B3NJY)
--- asdfasdfasasdfasdfasdfasdfdfasdf ---
Hopefully the update will roll out soon.
IMHO, not so soon. Prolly another 2-3 weeks maybe. Those sources have been out for a while. I've been staring at them looking for changes and running software update on bridge for almost a month now. I have korean registered F700L, that in SK this runs on LG's own LTE+ service and therefore should be the first devices on the waiting list. But.. Still nothing.
But then, maybe it's coming tomorrow.. who knows right?
I'm glad I picked up the G5 now
---------- Post added at 12:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:53 AM ----------
The firm commenced the first wave of the rollout in Korea on July 4, with the release of the kernel files, which let savvy owners manually install the update on their handset.
Later this month, LG will start distributing it over-the-air (the standard method), which will make it a viable upgrade for all customers. Soon thereafter, it will reach Europe and North America.
Read more at https://www.trustedreviews.com/news/lg-g5-v20-android-8-0-oreo-3502094#yPWCuwqkS9QX46gl.99
Oreo kernel sources are available from many weeks ago.... This means nothing. Update could arrive tomorrow (for korea varian only) or well never.
As at July 8th 2018 12.43am GMT+8. Ehh.. u-uhh. Nothing on bridge. Nothing on OTA.

Any news guys? I'm tired of waiting...
Google Releases Android 9.0 Pie and we are still 3 releases behind on Android 7.0 Nougat. Congrats LG!
Just got notification to update on my F700L (finally!) an hour ago. Update done, now time for a factory reset to get the best out of it.
1.6Gigs but updates really fast. Oh, and note the fw notification actually says AUG. LG's been sneaky getting this out.
Aesthetics wise, the phone is a lot more colorful and does "feel" slightly smoother in interactions and response. In any case, testing to commence officially tomorrow. Hopefully they didn't introduce new bugs.

Att update?

I downloaded the update on firmware.science and flashed from recovery. Beware it reset phone to factory
Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
ASD3 / March patch is the latest update for ATT currently.
There is an ASD5 that sprint released with the April patch you can get an Odin for.
ASD7 was released by Verizon / Xfinity. The update.zip can be found on firmware.science but know that if your on an ATT sim this *WILL* wipe your device.
On ATT your best bet is to flash Odin files unless you want to reset each time. I've yet to see an ASD7 Odin files yet.
All things Odin for 975U: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s10-plus/how-to/sm-g975u-firmware-downloads-tmo-spr-att-t3908657
There's a link there to another thread for ATT specific files, including USERDATA should you need it. You'll find less there since ATT releases less often. TMobile usually releases the most.
Asd7 just dropped for t.mobile.
