BASICS NEEDS:
Flyme 4.5.4I(International Version Only Not Indian Version) If not have first download It from here ->
www.flymeos.com/firmwarelist?modelId=18&type=1
PC / Laptop winXp or Above
and Minimal ADB Driver download here ->
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Rooted Meizu mini M2 (M2/Mini ONLY !!!)
Busybox already installed,if not then download from Play Store
File unlock the bootloader and TWRP download here ->
http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/fvm5edpr/file.html
ADB and Fastboot Files downloaded at ->
https://goo.gl/mZzVS4
(Specifically Windows 8 and above) Disable driver signature that ADB Mediatek detected.
How: Go start button -> type and select advanced startup option -> select restart now -> select troubleshoot -> select advanced option -> select the startup settings -> select restart -> wait for it to reboot and enter the blue screens -> type the numbers -> wait until the computer / laptop restart
STEPS: :highfive:
Extract "file_root.zip" in PC / Laptop drive anywhere, it's up to you.And extract files unlock_bootloader_with_new_twrp put the file "twrp_2.8.7.0.img" in the folder of "file_root.zip"put the file "unlock_bootloader.sh" in to external folder, open your phone go to Settings accessibility ->Developer option -> USB debugging -> Tick To ON plug Your Meizu m2 into laptop/PC go to

Then type "fastboot oem unlock" push the button Vol UP and wait. once completed, the screen will be stuck. Do not panic, because this is not like brick hard reboot (press the power button for about 10 seconds to death and on again) Congratulations, you have bootloop (still unfinished the process by the way.
3)enter recovery (when bootloop direct press Power + Vol UP to vibrate)The Select Wipe Data Factory reset .
push restart wait for 10 minutes. You've done Unlock Bootloader
Bootloader is already unlock yet, how To flash TWRP

"fastboot flash recovery twrp_2.8.7.0.img"
wait a minute turn off thr phone. and enter recovery (Power + vol up until vibration)you'll Be in TWRP
Now It's Time To Flash Cm 12.1
Note: As i Told You To Flash Flyme 4.5.4i(international Version)First. If still not installed then you will not able to install Cm12.1
Why?
Ans: As this rom is for Meizu M2 mini and model number of both devices Meizu M2 and Meizu m2 mini are not same so in this rom its developer had scripted a script in that it will not allow you to install Cm12.1 until it Check Ether Its Meizu M2 mini or not(Our is meizu m2) if it had some problem it will decline further installation process
Like this "Error In Executing Updater Binary In Zip"
Steps for installing rom
1.Unlock bootloader
2.Install Twrp
3.download Cm12.1.zip in SD
4.reboot to recovery
5.wipe everything( It Can Wipe Your Internal Storage too So i recommend You to Get Internal Storage Backup Too)
6.install zip
8.reboot to system
It will take time for first boot so don't worry.

}
Note: Still Not Able to flash error still comes
then try this two below given steps
1)Try with Flyme 5 beta version it can be flashed(untested)
2)Decompress Cm12.1 custom rom then go to bin folder there will be a file name"otasigcheck.sh"
Delete that file recompress whole rom again.
not recompress whole folder just recompress all files wich will be there eg :boot.img, system, bin etc (tested working 100%)
After this you may not able to get features update so you if you want to update download manually

Dear murtaza1326,
I'm sorry I'm nagging, but maybe you have a link to how to make the switch between the versions?
I need the device urgently, and I don't want to ruin it again, especially after I paid for the repair.

In the Steps given in the guide, it says- "go to
File_root.zip folder copy all files and Paste it in the Minimal ADB Driver Folder then Install Minimal ADB."
I have installed Minimal ADB driver from the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790 mentioned earlier in the guide. Do i need to copy all the contents of the File_root.zip folder to the folder which is created upon installing ADB from the link you mentioned (because it also asks to replace 4 files which pre exist there) or copy the contents to a new folder because i am having problem understanding this step.
Thnx!

Convert Chinese Mate 8 to EU variant - noob tutorial

NOOB tutorial - How to convert Chinese Mate 8 to EU variant
I had a rough time to convert my Mate 8, so i am writing this tutorial ( description of the steps i took to be more precise) to help others.
I used couple tutorials on this forum to achive this, so all thanks goes to:
somboons – SRK tool and [GUIDE] How to switch to use stock firmware from other models
duraaraa - Howto: Load International Mate 8 Software on Chinese Mate 8.
Snoop05 - [TOOL] [WINDOWS] ADB, Fastboot and Drivers - 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.3
First the tools you will need:
1. 15 seconds ADB Installer v1.4.3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
2. Tool Huawei Bootloader/ROOT/Recovery/Backup/Utility
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/development/tool-srk-tool-huawei-t3369797
3. EU Rom from duraaraa (download rom only)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/howto-load-international-mate-8-t3293619
4. stock firmware C432 B152 from somboons link (download rom only)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/guide-how-to-switch-to-stock-firmware-t3374259
Before next step you need a bootloader key. There are 2 ways, one costs 4 usd, other free. Search the forum how to obtain the key.
Now, what I did:
PART I.
1. Install ADB drivers on PC
2. Install SRK tool
3. Unlock bootloader
4. (I installed twrp and rooted the phone, but I think this is not needed at this point)
Extract rar file that you downloaded with EU rom from duraaraa in directory
C:\1 (or any other name, but keep it short for simplicity)
5. Boot the phone into fastboot mode, using ADB or holding power+volume down.
6. Run the following fastboot commands:
fastboot flash cache c:\1\cache.img
fastboot flash cust c:\1\cust.img
fastboot flash system c:\1\system.img
fastboot flash userdata c:\1\userdata.img
Now, I got EU rom on my Mate 8, BUT, my phone didn’t get wireless reception and showed only 3,8 GB of main storage.
PART II.
Followed the guide from somboons.
1. Install TWRP using SRK tool.
2. Root the phone using SRK tool.
3. Using SRK tool go to “7. Utility” than “9. Changing oeminfo and custom.bin” – choose “2 Mate 8” and then option “2. EU (c432)”
4. unzip update.zip copy update.app from C432 B152 rom to “phone/sdcard/dload/update.app”
5. Install root explorer, edit build.prop in SYSTEM folder of your phone and change line “ro.build.display.id=Deleted” to “ro.build.display.id=NextL00C432B011”
6. Using SRK tool install stock recovery.
7. Now the tutorial says “after boot to system again , press *#*#2846579*#* > 4> 1 (mate 8 , it will be reboot and process install starting..)” but it didn’t work for me.
I switched the phone off, then pressed both volume up and down keys and power.
The phone updated and tadaaaa.. . I was on Stock EU rom, no root, bootloader locked.
Storage encrypted on next boot.
Also i did factory reset and wipe chase from stock recovery, but i do not remember after what was that. i think after step 6. - probably it is not needed.
After this you should have working stock rom.
All that is left is to istall OTA update from phone menu 2 or 3 versions in succession..
If you do not understand something try reading original tutorials from duraaraa and somboons
THE END
Noobs will stop troubling us
sure, IF they actually read this thread ^^ maybe best to stick it into your signature for future reference

is it posible to do it even on latest AL10-nougat update?
BTW guide not working for me.... after i flash all the files in fastboot mode phone reboots and im staring at black screen
Where am i wrong?
One simple doubt: what are the advantages of having the EU variant? I got the chinese mate 8, but I selected my language and I can use it perfectly. Also, as far as I know, chinese firmware gets earlier updates. So, I'm confused.

First, Chinese model can't change home launcher. E.g. Google launcher.
Second, in Chinese model didn't installed Google apps and features, even languages. You can't add more languages because it restricted.
Third, device shows lot of necessary Chinese apps and features. E.g. yellow page etc.
and many other.
I bought my phone from Guangzhou, and want install EU version. But still couldn't change Chinese version.

Ok, I know that it's probably too late for a fix but i will just post it just in case if you still haven't had it fixed yet or incase if someone else got the same issue like me and you...
You will need both of these files:
1) A3500HV_A442_01_37_140920_ROW.7z
2) A modified Scatter File that enables the flashing of NVRAM+ the NVRAM File itself.
3) The SP Flash Tool.
I got all of them from the 4pda forum, and you can also search and download the 1st file which is an upgrade firmware with smaller size (312 MB) and i will attach the NVRAM scatter file and the NVRAM .. you will need the latest WinRAR version to etract it , and you can get the SP Flash tool easily from the same place you found the 1st file..
When you have all of them together in one folder then extract everything to its own folder name, and before anything else you need to take a full backup using Lenovo Assistant because the tablet will be reset, then open the SP Flash tool and point it to the scatter file from inside the 1st file's extracted folder (Not the NVRAM's one).
Check the "DA DL all with checksums" then click the Firmware Upgrade Option then click Download and at this point turn off the tablet and plug it using the USB cable WHILE HOLDING THE Volume Down Button and let the process finish until you see the big green check.
Power on the tablet and walk through the initial setup and at the home screen open the phone dialer and dial *#06* to make sure that the IMEI is still invalid or unknown, then turn the tablet off again.
Using the SP Flash tool select the Scatter file that i attached here with NVRAM in the same location then click Download, now plug in the tablet once more using the USB cable WHILE HOLDING THE Volume Down Button and let the process finish until you see the big green check.
That's it now just power on the tablet and check with the dialer again and you should already have the signal mark working.

Stock OREO recovery.img

Hello my recovery is dead I need a stock recovery.img for Oreo. My device is PRA-LX1. I downloaded the PRA-LX1C432B322 Oreo firmware and extracted it with Huawei Firwmare Extractor but can't find recovery.img or boot.img. I tried to download the 4 files. No recovery.img, no boot.img. Where can I found those files to repair my bricked phone please.
Huawei Extractor
update.zip
update_full_namemod_hw_xx.zip
update.zip > UPDATE.APP > boot.img, system.img, recovery.img
update_full_namemod_hw_xx.zip > UPDATE.APP > Cust.img
With the Oreo firmware and the UPDATE.APP files extracted from them, errors are obtained during extraction. To avoid this, when you open the tool, go to the Setting tab and remove the checkmark from the "Verify header checksun" checkbox. Then proceed normally.

Anyone figure this out?? I am pulling my hair out. Oreo doesn't have a boot file? What am I supposed to do?
Any help would be SUPER appreciated. This day three of me working on this. I need a functioning phone, bad.
Hello,I recovered one very hard bricked huawei p8 lite by dc phoenix software. By this tool you can recover phone even if you have bricked bootloader. (Testpoint method is working!). If you want I can help you and send photos with pins which you must connect.
Hi!
So ERECOVERY_RAMDI.img and RECOVERY_RAMDI.img are the recoverys, Boot maybe is RAMDISK.img (not sure).
My advice is IF you have TWRP flash default ROM zip with it, boot in recovery after flash and do factory reset... And Pray!
.
In oreo there is no boot.img you need to flash ramdisk.img using fastboot for boot
Fixed:
Solved: to a certain degree with Hurupdater method.
Hi all. Unrooted my pra-lx2, removed twrp then did ota to emui8 and oreo. Rooted again with a ported twrp and supersu. All was fine until i flashed a dolby.zip without backing up. Phone bootloops. Still have twrp. Erecovery dont help update fails. Update.app in sd folder dont work.
Is there an uninstall zip for dolby. That may addist. Unless somrbody has a pra-lx2 twrp

Simply put the dload folder in the root of your microsd, power off the phone and boot it again with all 3 buttons (vol+/- and pwr) pressed for 5-8s.
Voila, it should start installing the new firmware.

connect the phone to pc, keep vol- pressed directly after pressing restart on the phone, it should enter fastboot now.
"adb reboot recovery" should work though.
Regards
thank you, I'm gonna try tonight ...
I'm afraid that recovery somehow "disappeared" lol.. when I update from oreo to pie and I changed it to twrp to install magisk! anyway tonight I try, if I get in fast boot I can install recovery (this time pie stick recovery, so I can update to 9.1..cuase if I try "dload" now it just reboot..)

YES ! like that it worked !!! thank you
[EDIT]
so what i want to do is:
fastboot boot recovery.img BUT is not rebooting in recovery( and not loading it )
but it gives me this error: downloading "boot.img" so it's ignoring my command of booting with recovery.img
i've got stock recovery from UPDATE.app file of my actual rom ( 9.0.1.175 )
i didn't want to "install" the recovery cause i'm not sure it's the right file ... : (i've choosen recovery_ramdis.img)

is that the right one? in that case i can just install it .. cvause at the moment i can't reboot in any recovery !
[EDIT SOLUTION]
so since anyone could have my doubts ... here it is my " solution !
at the end i did install stock recovery ( which was RECOVERY_RAMDIS.img got from update.app and extracted by huawei update extractor)
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdis.img
than i use
fastboot reboot
and since i had the installation package already in my smartphone it went directly into UPDATING status ( through emui update program )
took less than 5 minutes to update to this latest EMUI 9.1.0.210
and 2/ 3 minutes for honor 8 pro to reboot.. and i had to change my underwear LOL !
at the moment i've lost root ... but probably i can get it back in the same way as i did with previous PIE !
LAST UPDATE ( check my other thread ) .. i could install EMUI 9.1.0.210 and ROOT It !
all working thank you @OldDroid for earlier support and doubts cleaning lol !
whoever wants to root EMUI 9.1.0.210 i made a step to step in Emui 9 with Root Honor 8 pro ( tested by myself ...root 100% working ! ) July 2019 thread!
hey
i have a duk l09c432b183 on emui 5.1
does this firmware works for me and how ?
Please I need your answer cause I don't want to brick my phone
So can someone tell me how to e
