Hi guys, my phones camera completely stopped working. I restarted the phone multiple times, and force closed the camera app, but still nothing. I tried other camera apps, but non of them worked. I don't have any ideas what to do. Do anybody know what to do?

My camera started failing and I couldn't get it to work again. I rebooted it several times to no avail. I did some internet searches and found some Captivate and Vibrant users on another forum that had the same problem. The culprit appears to be Fring. I uninstalled Fring and my camera started working again.
Whenever I open up my camera app it will work once or twice and then crash. Only fixed by a reboot and then like i said it will only work a few times. Has any one else experienced this, or am I just lucky?
My camera has been having issues as well. Mine randomly will only display a black screen and will not do anything. I have read that its a shutter issue but my shutter is not stuck. Others have said that the geotagging causes this "black screen" issue and turning it off and rebooting will fix it but that has no effect either. factory resets, data wipes, etc does nothing to fix this. This has been going on randomly for a few months now so I am stummped. Verizon told me that update they pushed a few months ago would fix it but apparently that was useless info too. Anyone have any other options or possible fixes???

Hopefully Verizon and moto will do what they normally do and get a list of all the bugs, then push out an update for them. It's starting to irritate me.
My camera app hasn't crashed any, but I do randomly get blank photos since upgrading. Noticed a couple of plain black ones in my gallery last night that weren't blank in the camera review...

I've been using it for 5 weeks but suddenly touchscreen stopped responding.
I've tryed reseting it, factory reset, but nothing worked.
Do you know how can I fix this? I'm pretty sure that my touch works fine because sometimes when I shake the device it works again but after few hours it stops to respond again!

Try this - reinstall battery, turn telephone on and leave it on opening screen for 2-4 minutes. I have problem with not responding touchscreen and I realised that after that time of continuous screen working it starts to work again. But only till I turn it off - then it is not responding again.
Today my camera stopped working. It shows a message after a few seconds that says camera isn't responding to you want to stop or wait. have done soft re set , uninstalled flashlight app , talked with samsung and downloaded smart tutor , all to no avail . I am a little afraid to do a factory re set , do you think it's possible that there is a virus on my phone
I had this happen as well doing a cold boot fixed it.

I have an unlocked Galaxy S8 (unrooted). Until last night, everything was working fine.
This morning, there seems to be something wrong with my Camera App.
When I click the Camera App, it just dies out and flashes the "Camera has Stopped" error message.
I use WhatsApp quite a bit to talk to my family oversees. I tried it earlier this morning - the selfie camera worked fine, but when I try to switch the camera from within WhatsApp, it doesnt work. As I mentioned, I did use WhatsApp video call last night which worked fine.
Here are the things I have tried:
There were auto updates to some apps overnight which I thought could be the problem, (Youtube, United and Skype) but I uninstalled those.
After googling the problem, I also Wiped Cached Partition.
I also tried installing a random camera app from the App store, but it also does not work.
I turned the phone on in Safe Mode and checked the Camera App. It still doesnt work, which makes me believe that the issue isn't because of a 3rd party app.
Can someone please help? I don't know what the issue is.
