This firmware is so old. Try to upgrade to Android Oreo by using this method:
Make sure you’ve backed up all of your IMPORTANT DATA before downgrading/returning to stock ROM.
I am not responsible for bricked devices and dead SD cards. YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
1) Download Oreo RAW (15.0410.1803.55) firmware here:
ZE520KL:
ZE552KL:
2) Download ASUS Flash Tool here:
3) Install ASUS Flash Tool
4) Now, power off your device and enter Fastboot mode by pressing Power Button + Volume Up button
5) Open ASUS Flash Tool and select your device
6) Select the RAW firmware you've downloaded
7) Click on the Serial Number of your device.
8) Click Start and wait 5-10 minutes (ignore error 5 [FRP ERROR])
9) Congratulations, you have upgraded directly to Oreo.

For people already rooted & on cwm recovery, how can the update be done?
is it
fastboot flash recovery recovery_stock.img
Just flashed it. Seems like it reset everything. Setting up my phone from scratch now....
That's what they mention. Everything will be erased. There is a word file describing the procedure in the zip provided that says so.
Nothing is moved.
You need to flash the stock recovery
If you do a local update, nothing is erased.

If you flashst on Power Vol, no. Can you make custom recovery on it. For root you can then use the recovery_h60.img. Still works. Then have to do is flash SuperSU.
Any improvements?

Just updated it ..... it's seemed nice ... battery's much improved IMO .....
Found no improvements. Bluetooth is buggy my Sony smartband swr10 is always reconnecting. Seems like LE problem. Downgrade with local update to sp04 not possible...
I will try a force downgrade. Dont use that Version if you have BT devices...
Maybe i will root my device to get a logcat

No problem with my Sony Smartwatch 2. Not with this update, not before. Did you check Smart connect NOT to close when screen is closed? You have to give it access even when sceen is closed.
Search in settings -> protected apps.
Manual update doesn't delete anything. My fault. @andrewin was right.

Compared to B120, Traffic management was added to Wireless tab and Touch ID sensitivity improved. It was also in B121 already.
However B121 had worse battery performance vs B120, which was fixed in B127.
In summary, B127 has the same battery as it was in B120 plus the same smoothness as in B121. Good job, Huawei. Hope to get 5.0 soon.

Smartconnect and smartbandy are protected. I did not change it after the update.
Its very strange since the update: today morning my smartband connect and diconnected and disconnect and so on... Rebooted my mate an now its fine. Same happened yesterday!
One thing is "New" since 127: Bluetooth connects to my car radio even there is already a connection Form another phone!! -> my girlfriend played music with her ihpone and if i activate BT my phone disconnects the iPhone. Thats definitly New. Before the first phone connected stays connected

Yes, you can if you flashst about Volume + Power (forced-mode). If you want to flash via the internal function, then you need stock recovery.

I think you flashed wrong firmware. It's a common fail coz the latest firmware in Sammobile.com is for the model "BLACK EDITION":
1. Download this firmware if your phone is a "normal" GT-i9505: HERE.
2. Unzip and flash it via ODIN. ( Reflash the firmware one time more if your phone boot and you still without wifi). Good luck

Stock Firmware for L29C567? Phone soft bricked!

I was installing TWRP and superuser and something failed. Now the phone soft resets and bounces between TWRP and Huawei eRecovery. Does anyone have a L29C567 firmware I can flash? I've done some searching and there doesn't seem to be any sources for the firmware yet. Just trying to get the phone working again.
I think I could use FunkyHuawei if they had the firmware but I don't believe they do yet.
Edit: Looks like I put this in the wrong sub forum, sorry
Please be patient. Soon enough it will be available.

Try this guide,it will change ur region to Asia C636 but the phone will work 100%

I lost all the google apps and the keyboard when I tried to updated from B110 to B136 using step 7 "flash hw_data" but got it all back when with dloading back to B110.
I'm trying the updater now and it seems to be updating to B158! will update.
Update worked and I'm now on B158 which is awesome! The only thing that's odd now is that my MEID is 000000000000. I'm not sure if that's a big deal.

If you have boot loop boot to stock recovery and do factory reset.

Yes. I did the following:
* Unlock bootloader
* install twrp
1- restore oeminfo for C636 http://www.mediafire.com/?szws87sk7rrkqr6
2- download c636 offline firmware, and flash it from an sd card using 3 buttons method by dload folder. https://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...4/post70465883
3- factory reset from settings.
4-use system update to get the latest firmware.
Basically gm007's but skipping a few steps
The end result was a seemingly complete L29C636B158.

Here we go. This is for T818VVRU1AQB1 firmware, but probably works on any revision 1 firmware.
Instructions
1. Enable OEM UNLOCK
In Settings>About>Software info tap the build number 7 times to enable developer options. Once you've enabled developer options, developer options will appear in settings just above the About device option. Open developer options, the 4th or 5th option should be “OEM Unlock”. Turn on.
2. Download the eng boot image.
This is a special boot image normally used by engineers, it allows selinux to be booted in permissive mode with relaxed root restrictions.
Do not replace this image with the stock image after rooting your device or you will possibly soft brick your device.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862710309
3. Install boot image:
Download Odin v3.11.1
Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the SM-T818V_eng_boot.tar to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes
Reboot
Check in Settings>About>Software, your device should be in Selinux permissive mode.
4. Install and run Kingroot:
Make sure you have an internet connection.
You may need to run Kingroot several times to gain successful root.
5. Install and run SuperSU me to remove Kingroot and convert to SuperSU (not required) :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ore&pcampaignid=APPU_1_uzPDVbGyFcGNyATHrqmoCA
6. Wifi fix:
modify the line below in /system/build.prop:
ro.securestorage.support=true to false
Good luck I hope it works for you. Let me know your outcome.

The boot image flashed OK with odin? Which splash screen?
This could mean you need to wipe the data partition first for it boot.
I should be able to get the stock firmware for you sometime tomorrow.

Flashed fine. It's the screen that says Android very big and had the tab model, right before it goes into the boot animation.
I'll wipe data partition and report back.
Please don't feel responsible for it, I'm about trying anything for rooting... I'm sure we'll get fixed

Sure, we'll get it fixed no worries.
Anyway it seems like you need the accompanying botloader if its getting stuck on the bootloader animation.

If it still doesn't boot I'll give you a link to the entire engineering firmware via PM. Then se how you get on with that and gaining root.

Are you saying that the full firmware didn't flash either? At what point does it fail?
Anyway don't worry I'll upload the stock AQA3 firmware later.
EDIT: I think this is all you'll need to get booting again. Flash via AP in ODIN.
If not I'll give you the link to the entire firmware.
