man, this rom is vey smooth. just one problem though. finger print disappears after every reboot. hope to have this fixed in the next update. but great job for this work.

Lineage OS replaces the CyanogenMod and quickly gained popularity among fans of custom firmware. Recently, developers have released a new assembly based on Android 7.1.2 with the January security patch . Outdated browser from AOSP in the latest firmware Lineage OS replaced Jelly . 100% agree. It's the only "real" ROM (besides Lineage) for the Redmi 5 Plus anyways, not some homebrew project by some kids that will be abandoned in a few weeks.
I've been running Omni on my Nexus 4 and my girlfriend's Galaxy S3 for almost 5 years, and it always was up to date, thanks to it being official.
Thanks to all the ex-Cyanogenmod devs who jumped ship before Lineage was born.

Where face unlock ?

This is fantastic. First I was on rr good ROM but this is really amazing is so fast that Burns fingertips, not find any bugs everything works well just perfect thanks Dev.

2 questions though:
1) is there a way to turn on/implement feature from your Lineage rom: double tap anywhere on screen to turn it off (lock). It was working brilliant. Or maybe it was launcher thing?
2) how to root Omnirom? Magisk-cust won't work for non-treble I think...

Hi. After using for 2 days, I can say that there are no bugs in this ROM. There are lot many ways to customize this ROM. The only issue I am facing is that Google Pay is not working; it isn't passing security checks. I was able to use Google Pay in other ROMs.

You can try disabling the telephone permissions to google, also can try safety net fix and magisk hide.

I have pie build already ready but since speaker is not working i didn't public it yet. Once i will fix them i will release.

The proximity sensor does not work properly during calls, the screen is turned on, is it a bug of the oreo roms?

Ya its working but I can't turn it off...I have disabled the double tap to wake in settings but its still working.

Its a very smooth, very fast and responding rom.
Black theme and Clock position I would like to be a way to change, no big deal though.
Rom is performing better than long time present roms out there.

I flashed the rom using redfox 8.3 new recovery, with Nano Gapps and Magisk 17.1.
NO crash, reboot, or anything similar. Rom has been installed and run as a charm.
Sim card , like everywhere these days, still asking for confirmation on boot. One tick action, so NP

F2fs support on kernel, if the kernel supported then you can use f2fs.

Charging with normal(no fast charge) charger and 4G data

rom is good but im facing few problems
every reboot sim card needs to be selected for data
sdcard with ext4 format shows "issue with Sandisk SDCard" "Tap to fix" error
mac address for wifi gets changed automatically.
