So you have an SM-G900R...
I, personally, would recommend/suggest that you check out the following form that's specific to the USCC (US Cellular) devices.
http://www.teamuscellular.com
The following area of that forum is dedicated to the G900R.
http://teamuscellular.com/Forum/forum/408-samsung-galaxy-s5/
I don't normally suggest another forum though, the XDA Forum does have some threads/posts regarding the USCC S5 but, I believe that it's a bit limited and the above forum does have allot more information specific to this variant.
Good Luck!

SM-G900V Unlocked on Sprint possible ?

Hello , my brother gave me an almost new unlocked Verizon s5 . Is it possible to use this device with Sprint ? I'd like to root it and install a Sprint custom rom if this can be done . I run custom roms on my LG and other Samsung S3's and S4's but they were already Sprint devices . Can anyone throw a little advice on this ? I'v googled a lot and found lots of threads about running Verizon roms on a Sprint s5 but not the other way around . Thanks much ..

It looks like it should be able to go to Sprint.
According to the following link, that compares the 2, it looks like they both have the same specs.
http://www.phonemore.com/compare/ph...m-g900v-vs-samsung-galaxy-s5-sm-g900p/4561723
I can't state that it's a 100% doable thing but, I don't see why not.
You should be able to locate somewhere on the XDA Forum on how to accomplish this.
Good Luck!

Galaxy S5 SM-G900V Root

Hello all. I have a Verizon Galaxy S5. I have a couple of questions. I have tried to root the same way I have rooted my Galaxy Grand Prime and J3 2016 by way of CF Auto Root. I have followed the instructions on all three variants. My Grand Prime and my J3 have been rooted successfully but the S5 has not. Why is this? Is the Verizon bootloader locked? I don't see OEM unlock in the developer settings. The build number is MMB29M.G900VVRU2DQI2. Android version is 6.0.1. Can the phone be rooted in this build? Every time I put the necessary file in the AP slot and press start it always fails after a couple seconds. What's is going on?

Galaxy s5 sm-g900w8 root ?

Good evening everyone,
I get an S5 that I wanted rooted, the problem is that I realized that it was a Canadian version, it slightly complicates things ...
Not wanting to make mistakes, I wanted to ask your expert opinion on the subject.
About the phone:
- S5 SM-G900W8
- Baseband version: G900W8VLU1DQB2
- Android 6.0.1
If you need more information ...
So on CF-AUTO-Root it offers two versions for the root of the G900W8:
- MMB29M.G900W8VLU1DPD3
- MMB29M.G900W8UMU1DQA1
I would be tempted by the second, but rather than make a mistake, I prefer to ask you for advice.
Thank you in advance to the participants. (sorry for my average english)

All I want to do is to run latest official stock both bootloader and ROM from ATT. How do I do that?
