LeEco Coolpad Cool 1 C106 USB headphone not recognized after EUI 5.8 update - Coolpad Cool1 Questions & Answers

I have LeEco Coolpad Cool 1 C106. Cool 1 can use USB-C headphone at EUI 5.8 14S firmware. But as soon as I upgrade it to EUI 5.8 17S, it lost USB headphone support. EUI 5.9 26S does not support either.
How can I enable EUI 5.8 or EUI 5.9 to use USB-C headphone.
PS: I know Cool 1 does not support CDLA. But I don't want to have CDLA support. I just want to use USB-C headphone with android apps (music, video, chat etc). I know that CDLA is for GSM calls. And I know I cannot make phone calls with USB-C headphone with Cool 1. I just want to make with EUI 5.8 or EUI 5.9, whatever I can do with EUI 5.6.
Thanks

Thank you for reply. But I don't understand why you gave me link of 4pda forum page of cool1? There are a lot of information at that forum. Which specific information should I look for? Is there any solution for enabling USB audio for EUI 5.8 or 5.9 at that forum?
Or JUI supports USB audio?
What do you mean? Would you please give me more information?
Thanks

You have to work through the information on your own. Regarding USB audio, I can't give you an answer, unfortunately.
You can try flashing the 17s firmware. TWRP flashable version: https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=776801&view=findpost&p=71427433
JUI is based on Android N. Right now there are two versions, that has been updated recently:

Thanks again for the reply. Do you advise JUI over EUI? At first stages of JUI had a lot of problems, so I stayed with EUI. Should I switch to JUI now?
Infrared Remote Controller is important for me. Does IR remote controller of Cool1 work on JUI?
Thanks

I own the C103 and currently use it as my daily driver. I haven't made the switch to JUI yet, but it seems stable the version from Machomotofan (based on the software from Coolpad Play6) https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=776801&view=findpost&p=71764423 . There's a review of this version here: https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=776801&st=20920#entry71865396 .
Are you using the 26s version by Cuoco92? Seems like an update is on its way.
And last but not least, please help the community, by signing this petition asking Coolpad to release the kernel sources: https://www.change.org/p/coolpad-kernel-sources-for-cool1

I am using stock firmware. I used to have EUI 5.9 26S but I will try EUI 5.6 14S and EUI 5.8 17S to be able to use USB audio. I know 14S supports USB audio but 17S seems that does not support USB audio. If I can install GAPPS to 14S, I will try to use EUI 5.6 14S. Because it seems that only stock ROM that supports USB audio is 14S. I want to try some JUI firmwares too to see if they support USB audio and IR remote control.

Instead of doing all this just install a TPA named "Sound About". It will definitely help you.
Like my reply as it encourages me to help you.

Like.

I discovered that there is an option in Developer Options -> Select USB Configuration -> Audio Source.
I am not sure if it is working because I am already EUI 5.6 14S and USB audio is already working. If I will flash EUI 5.8 or EUI 5.9 again, I will test this feature.
On the other hand I have Chuwi Hi8 Pro tablet which has USB-C port which is running Android 5.1. I looked for this option but there wasn't this option inside Developer Options. Is this feature (Select USB Configuration) comes with Android 6.0?

I tried it with EUI 5.9 26S and Sound About did not help. Nothing has changed. On the other hand, I noticed that they remove Select USB Configuration option from Developer Options. So no luck for EUI 5.9. I'll downgrade to EUI 5.6. EUI 5.6 consumes less RAM, and may perform better than 5.9 and I wil have USB audio option.

Suggestion about LineageOS with MicroG in X722.

Is it possible make a custom rom with lineage OS and micro G for replace google services? I have seen that it is possible in other devices.
Thanks in advanced.
I'm interested in too.
Anything yet?
micro can be installed in any rom, the only needed are signature spoffig
im now using it with aosip
and there are a lineage fork with microg support
https://lineage.microg.org/
Thanks @Gonfebo
But on the lineage-microg web, I can only see "zl1" model, wich is LeEco X720, not X722 (zl0).
Does it work with LeEco X722 too? Is there any complication to install it?
PS: Can you share installation guide for AOSIP, please?

Possible T560 and T561 roms on Russian forum

a user sent me a PM with a link to a Russian forum that may contain roms for both T560 and T561.
I can see links for CM 11 to 13 and Lineage 14 but I am not sure if these are actual roms, fix or bug reports.
So anyone here speak Russian?
link here: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
Let's discuss here
Was able to download the firmware for CM 13 (MM 6.0.1) and Lineage 14 but haven't flashed them yet since the link for boot.img for the roms is dead. hmmm
Lineage 14: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
CM 13: MOD Edit :- Links Removed
I tried cm12.1, 13, 14.1 in my sm-t560.
Cm12.1 it works but then it restarts
CM 13 no bugs
lineage 14.1 no works

Hi so CM 13 is ok from the following links? Did you need to flash the boot.img?
I read you said no bugs but to be sure, does the USB OTG work on the CM 13 still?
Can you lay down what you did exactly. Thanks buddy!

Will just do a backup and flash this. We can talk about features here as well so others will know. I have a T561
Are you using TWRP 3.0 on your T560? It's a requirement for flashing lineage 14.
However, I'm using T561 and I can't find a compatible TWRP version 3.0 for my device.
Will try to flash CM 13 now. Will update.

3.0.2-0, the one that is published here.
Yes I saw T560 has a TWRP version 3. However T561 doesn't have it and the one on the Russian forum seems pouting to a dead link. Will try to contact the author. He was the one who sent me a PM.
Anyway, so CM 13 worked for me. Still testing but I find the animations a little sluggish. Not sure but in the early days of Android ROM flashing it was advised to let a new rom settle for a couple of hours, even days. I will be patient with this. It's a fresh sight over TouchWiz.
Anyway quite happy I found a working rom after months of searching (CM 13).
All essentials are working so far.
Wifi
USB OTG
Camera
Sim (t561)
USB MTP seems broken. My laptop can detect it and shows as removable storage but it doesn't show on the windows explorer. Not sure what's going on. Anyway not a biggie I can use the OTG to transfer files.
Attaching some pictures here.
Will update on performance.

Do you have the img of 14.1?
Nope non, haven't tried flashing lineage 14 since it says it requires TWRP 3.0 which I don't have.
How do you find CM 13 so far? Wonder if the lineage 14 OS is much faster. Haven't heard from the creator yet. He did mention he isn't as active here.
One thing I noticed is the CM 13 (marshmallow) does not support moving of app from internal to partitioned SDcard via App2SD or Link2SD.
Not sure if it's a Marshmallow thing (adoptable storage) or a rom thing.
Thoughts?
Edit:
Moving2SD isn't supported but linking to SD is.

All thanked for Ma3a_XaTa
Wow thank you for this. Yes he was the one who sent me a message. Do I need to flash this via Odin or flashing it via existing TWRP is ok? Have you tried Lineage 14?
EDIT:
Flashed the TWRP 3.0 via TWRP 2.8. Will update if Lineage 14 is ok.
EDIT:
The device boots up on Lineage 14 but I am always notified of the following warning.
"com.android.phone has stopped"
I am able to set up the tablet but that warning always pops up even after two install attempts.
Also, The SIM card isn't detected on this ROM, which is a no biggie but would help if anyone knows of a fix?
This is the error I am recieving. Hope there's a fix for this
Edit:
Edit:
Tried the following steps
Clear Cache and Data of the Phone App, SIM Toolkit, Reboot. The problem still persists.
Lineage 14 is so much faster then CM 13. We're so close already to having a useable Nougat ROM. Maybe it has something to do with that boot.img for lineage which can't be downloaded.
Found a temporary fix.
Activate developer options > USB Debugging. Then when the warning prompts again, there is now an option > hide till device restarts.

So far so good using this tablet on Lineage 14. I am using a very good launcher called Sentio Launcher. Allows me to work on the tablet like a laptop. I have a Bluetooth keyboard.

The Chinese have a private qq group where they might have already fixed all the issues with the 8.0 ROM . The dev does not want to share with the rest idk why . I've been using this ROM as my daily driver for about a week now........ Surprisingly I prefer this ROM over the 7.1 mokee stable version audio is not a big problem for me as I use Bluetooth and for camera I just reboot! Using dualboot....

I think I will stick a while with MIUI 10, in the first place because GPS is working out of the box and I had to use GPS Locker to get it working on RR.
Is this compatible with the redmi 3 (not pro) ?

You can log into mi account and you must if you have registered the device before, because you are asked to login before you can finish installation. MIUI 10 is quite slow on this device, fingerprint does not work most of the time.
MIUI 11 android 8.1 (Xiaomi EU 9.9.26 port IDO) Gapps included
Download From GDrive
Use this vendor and boot from telegram
thanks to ndminion @telegram
Bugs and Review:
you can't sign in mi account (for first boot into system click on forget password and skip this step)
some times dataservice stop message seen (rare crashes happen but they are not critical maybe some kind of other crash)
happily fingerprint work
in-call sound not adjustable
LED notification not work
video record in stock camera need a patch ( download from attachments and flash thorough recovery)
performance is ok
and i think it's not bad for daily usage
at least give it a try!

Bro thank you very much for your compilations and Roms for the Redmi 3 Ido. Based on your experience and previous suggestions (Mokee Rom) I would like to see if you could recommend a stable ROMs based on MIUI, whether Android Oreo, Android Pie or Android Q ... I would like the MIUI experience but I do not like the idea of having to downgrade the Android version.
Or inclusive if you can give me your Top of stable custom or final version ROMS for the Redmi 3 Ido (If you included a MIUI based ROM it would be perfect).

you can try this miui11 for a while it's not that bad
but it's not that stable as mokee 9.0 is
and sadly i have to say that there is no stable miui base rom
_____________________
Anyway, if you wanna try Q that mostly stable, you can install CrDroid 6.0
and i recommend this
CrDroid 6.0 base on android 10 build 20191112 By Reza_Adi_Pangestu
