Does the Mi A1 supporta alarm in "off" mode? - Xiaomi Mi A1 Questions & Answers

I'd like ti buy this phone for my wife. I wonder if it supports alarm when in "off" mode. My Honor 9 turns itself on when scheduled and the alarm rings. Can the Mi A1 do the same? I googled a bit but couldn't find a definitive answer...
Thanks a lot!

No. I was late once because the alarm didn't ring when switched off.

This is one feature lost with Oreo update, in Nougat there was a specific item in "Settings" to power on/off the device at given date/time (all chinese phones have that option), you so could turn on the device 5 minutes before the alarm.
Please use the "Feedback" app to claim this feature back (as I've done every Oreo update)

Alarm clock auto turns off after few seconds

I've been going to work late for 3 days in a row and found out that the alarm clock of my S4 auto turns off after it goes off for 3 or 4 secs. I've checked all the options and it didn't help. My phone hasn't been rooted. Hope anyone can find the solution to fix that.
Hello I have the same with SGS5.
The only remedy is to DISABLE LOCALIZATION SERVICES
The scenario:
Localization services: ON ( not matter what type)
Alarm Clock set to specified hour
Alarm Starts with normal Sound
Device wakes up, on statusbar you can see Localization Icon blinking
Alarm is silenced but still on the sceen you can see options to disable it ( disable / snoze )
The only remedy I found is to disable GPS/Localization services completly...
Does anyone know BETTER solution not breaking the device functionality?
Thanks in advance!

Do Not Disturb Huawei Honor Note 8 Nougat

Hi there. I had to post here first but I have a Huawei Honor Note 8 with Nougat. BEST PHONE EVER but one thing is that I have scheduled DO NOT DISTURB to AUTOMATICALLY turn on and off at a certain time but my notifications are STILL coming thru. I have it set to start at 11pm thru 8am. Now, if I turn SILENT on in the sound function then nothing will come thru. At 11pm the little DO NOT DISTURB moon shows up in the notifcation panel but the notifications are still coming thru in the middle of the night. Any solutions?

Connection alert settings

Hello i have Asus Zenfone 3 Max (ASUS_X008D) , WW_Phone-13.1.0.51-20170309
When i made a call and person answer, i got a vibration in my phone - this could be useful but not in my opinion and i would disable it
Unfortunately i realize that i don''t have option to disable "connection alert settings" inside section ""outgoing call settings"" , any tips? or i have to wait next sw version?
Thanks in advance!
after upgrade to nougat , options appear, but despite i remove the flag, vibration remain - then a factory reset fixed the problem

Axon 7's weird alarm problem

Hey there, I have a problem I have never encountered before in any phone.
My Axon 7's alarm won't go off but only at certain times. I wake everyday 07.15 but the alarm will only go off after 07.30. When my alarm clock won't ring, there is always this strange icon on the top right of the screen (the circle with the line in the diagonal). It's a very weird problem and I have no idea what the possible solution might be.
1) I have tried reboots, cache cleaning in the recovery, changing the sound, deleting data and force closing the app, using another app with no luck.
2) I don't know what that icon means and what triggers it. My alarm works like normal during the day but probably some time at night this icon pop ups and my alarm won't ring.
3) It's very weird, but at 07.30 exactly the icon goes away and the alarm works as normal.
4) I don't use things like don't disturb, I have practically searched every setting.
5) I have an A2017G, on B10 Nougat software, locked and not rooted.
Do you have any idea what that icon means ?? Is there any solution you can think of ??
That is do not disturb mode. When you keep pressing volume down you will enter that mode. You have probably set it to run at night.
Yes and to deactivate it, go to :
Settings / sound / do not disturb
And verify all the settings of this option.
You can activate the do not disturb on differents periods of time and events.

I use it but have alarms as permissible events so they sound no matter what time is set. Great feature.
