Had a pair of Icemat Siberia's for a while now. Probably the most comfortable plugs I've ever owned. Others have always hurt after a short time. Sound good too. I'm sure there might be some out there that might sound better, but the comfort pushes these over the top.
bundled headphones always suck anyway so its no big loss that there are no included phones, if i decide that i can bear to give up my hardware qwerty keyboard and get a nexus ill be using a set of audio technica ath-cks55's
My WestOne 4R earphones.
Even Bieber would sound good through these things (probably).

+1 on the Shure SE315!
I'm getting these http://www.yourbrainwavz.com/M4inline.htm, I've been told they're pretty good for the price you can find them (44,50 € shipped on Amazon)
Going to use the ones I got with my s3 ;D, they are actually pretty good.

I'm using soundmagic e10m. Will the mic work even though it's apple chip inside. They do on HTC phones.
I have UE Triplefi 10vi and Soul SL 150, I hope soud will be good
I've been pretty happy with the EarPods. As long as the inline mic and remote work, I'll be sticking with that.

I'm tempted to buy new earphones for my new phone though lol
Was looking at the SoundMagic E10, they get rave reviews. (I just hate the 'made in china' that is printed on the jack)

Have always used Apple earphones and just got myself the new Earpods. They are the best in the price range.

Has Samsung improved there stock earphones ?

Till dated Samsung note 123 all of them had poor quality earphones can we expect some good quality stock earphones out of the box.
What do you think ?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
People actually use the stock earphones!?
Mine have always been kept in the box, I have a semi-decent pair of earphones that I use daily. To be honest though, I doubt any phone ships with earphones that are actually worth using over even a fairly cheap pair of third party set.
So I wouldn't advise you rely on the Note 4 shipping with anything impressive!

We've companies like Iphone Apple earphones are decent,Nokia Inear ear plugs stock (lumia610) are excellent.
I also have my note 2 earphones still inside my box unused and I currently own a Nokia Coloud I am happy with them.
Isnt it up to each carrier? I know T-mobile is cheap and never include any headphone.
Consider it a bonus if they do. Highly unlikely that you will get a set of earbuds worth talking about. I personally don't care for them since I have my own Bluetooth earbuds.

I both have note 2 and note 3 headphones also s4 and s5 headphones and i love them. For me note 2 and s5 headphones are the greatest. Note 2 headphones has great bass and treble balance. ( Actually it has the best bass over all sammy headphones ). Using them with 63 db kernel headphone boost and viper4android for clarity. It has poor cable quality though. This is my third in two years. S5 headphones are great too with 60 db of course. Music gets too loud on 63 db. Note 3 headphones are also great with 60db boost. In all of them s4 has the crappiest ones. Although it 'doesnt suck' at 57db i wouldn't prefer them.

You buy a $700 phone.... why would you not invest in some good earphones if you even like them?
Many providers don't include headphones anymore.

This is a shame for Sony z3

This is a shame for Sonja, this phone they sell us to 750e, 5 times I have so far sent in for service, pokvatio the speakers, then down, then flipped out back panel, there were 3 days with the service here is now aopet isto.dali it really worth so much, I hope that no one will buy more of this crap phone
and it's a phone resistant to water, and quality,,,no koment
Yeah they definatly screwed up the waterproof of the phone. Id say talk to the repair facility again and tell them the repair isnt good enough. Either fix it properly or give you a brand New phone.

Cool story...
Yeah I think you're just unlucky I've had my z3 since launch day and it's been perfect including putting it in water.
Yeah they definatly screwed up the waterproof of the phone.
i have the same. Problems at all sony's. Cuz the glue on backcover is very bad..
I'm not having this issue with my Z3 at all
It's perfectly solid
I have experience bad after sales service also. Just call them to replace one new phone for you. My case is worst than you, my phone is kept at service center for 1 month.
You are not alone, N77NS. I have similar gap issues with the white Z3 my GF has--it is more noticeable on white phones than black. Sony's QA on this phone is one of the worst!
My pressure test says my phone isn't waterproof anymore. It's at 1009.xx with the decimals going up and down only. Back looks like it's peeling off, 1 side is not flush.
I bought my Z3 here in Singapore. Looks solid. No problems at all.

Just two tips:
Top speaker is prone to get damaged on max volume so no ClearAudio+ and no EQ and no S-Force Surround and keep it max on level 14 and you should be fine for a long long time...
Display is prone to get permanent bright spots if you press it a bit hard (tight pocket...).
Just my tips for getting longer happy time with Z3...

My simple question is: can you give us a prove that the max volume with ClearAudio+ may (or will) harm the loudspeaker ?
We are in XDA here and we respect each other here.. No need to talk like this

And as you see you don't like same as I didn't liked yours...
We are cool now, well about proof I told you it happend to me and to few people that posted this on various forums including official Sony one...
Nobody is forcing you to take advice wich is by the way in good intention and could not do any harm to you...take it or leave it...it is same as you ask for proof can flashing of ROM kill your device...it can...

I'm cool but you wasn't... I just said Even nokia 2005 devices had safety procedures to protect the louder speakers.. So it's not making sense when you say Z3 2014 device speakers may affected if we use maximum volume with ClearAudio+.. And this Sony who we are talking about.. They are making speakers since maybe 30 years ago.. of course I'm talking about stock sound system..

well here's the comparison.
1. with regards to heating which is almost everyone is complaining, can say that the warm is the same as z1.
2. the screen is so clear and smoother when swiping.
3. everytime i lay it on the table and look into it, i tend to smile and think what a gorgeous phone it is.
4. about the battery, getting 1-1/2 days with standard use; phone call, messaging, wifi on all day even at home, sync always on, music about 2 hrs a day on a bluetooth headphone, 1 hr watching anime, didnt turn off any services. the battery will drop a lot when playing games and can last only about 2 hrs, but its usual because of the processor, but doesnt heat up so bad just like others say. the z3 will last longer but hey this is an octacore with 810 chip, so im happy with this.
5. Also, when full charged just like yesterday night, it only drop 2% from 10pm to 5 am.
6. well speaking of sound, its a stereo phone compared to mono on z1.
7. the pictures and movies were so clear, even on zoomed.
8. about the UI and other apps, cant compare because i installed z5 apps on my z1..hahaha..
9. its heavier than z1 but its ok.
10. the fingerprint scanner is one of the features i like, registered my fingers and my wife fingers, and no fail when using fingerprint when unlocking the phone.
so generally, its a great phone and recommend to everyone with z1.

about the quality well the sound on z5 is better than z1.
i think the normal earphones only, didnt use the earphones cause i have my sony mdr1rbt-mk2 bluetooth headphone.
if you use a wired earphone there's an option of dsee-hx on audio settings above clear audio,it only works on wired phone but on my headphone its working also because it has dsee-hx too.
also, there's an option of automatic optimization on headphone settings.
and also, the stereo speaker also has an s-front sorround option.
Enjoy your z5! ??

Galaxy s7 edge bluetooth audio

Hi,
I own a samsung galaxy s7 edge and beats by dre (no haters pleas) bluetooth headset.
While using my iphone/mac and my beats, the output volume is sufficient at around 65%, while on my new S7 edge the output is too low even on 100%...
I tried using adapt sound and it didn't help.
I own the Exynos version.
I'm am so disappointed..
is there any way to resolve this issue?

Beats by Dre is optimized for Apple products.
Like when I use my PowerBeats2 with my previous 6s it shows how much battery the headphones has but on android it doesn't.
But no problems so far with the s7e when it comes to sound being too low.
Have you tried using your headphones with another android device?

Hey Man I was having the same issue and come to find out the resolution is so easy that we overlook it. You have to cut the volume up physically on your phone then use the volume toggle on the headphones itself and turn that up and that will fix the issue. I also reset my bluetooth headset before doing so. My issue was with the Powerbeats2.

Yes we were over looking! Thanks!!! I have the Powerbeats3.
Hmmm. I find that Bluetooth is WAY too quite on two different car stereos using my s7 edge. No problems with my old Asus zenfone2 or my company iphone. The built in equalizer for the Samsung seems to be quite basic. It doesn't let you create separate profiles for speaker, headphones or Bluetooth like most other phones do. Is there anything out there to help this without running a custom Rom?
not really, at least you need root
