Manually checked for software updates a few minutes ago and was able to download and install the following (changelog):

Downloaded firmware from Samobile and tried flashing via Odin over OK2 version but keeps failing. Any suggestions?
Wonder if this could be related to lack of PIT file ?
Can someone kindly extract PIT and upload it for me please ?
I would be really greatful.

Couldn't help you with this one, I ran the update thru OTA. Maybe somebody else here knows a workaround.

could be a different Product Code; for example, my N9208 is from Taiwan and the Product Code BRI. @pmredulla - what is the product code for your N9208?. THanks.

Probably you're right.
My product code is BRI and i was flashing Firmware from different country.
I thought it doesn't make any difference and as long as i have the same model (N9208) i can easily do it ???
So what do i need to do to successfully flash this ROM ?

How to get android 7 now - uses uk firmware to update - with samfirm

Hi Guys,
I´d like to tell you how I got the Android 7 Update / Android 7 Firmware on my S7 here in Germany.
Steps:
1) Backup your Device and save important data
2) Download SamFirm to get a fast Download-Link for the Firmware needed.
3) In SamFirm use: Model: SM-G930F; Region: BTU

Does this change Knox status (will i lose warranty)? I'm currently on NEE firmware and would love to get N asap.

No, flashing stock doesn't affect KNOX
This method is already being discussed in the main N thread too

Does it wipe my data ? I have RO(MANIA) CSC. Will it work?

Did not worked for me. Still on my Home CSC ... I flashed CSC not home_CSC

It's the same for me. SmartSwitch shows a DBT version although I flashed the CSC from SamFirm.
When I take a look at the CSC on the phone with *#1234# I can see the OXA CSC. I think that's wrong...?
What's wrong? Can u please help me?

If you're coming from DBT, you have to flash TPL/PRT/PLS before BTU!!! After this, it will work...

I am on BTU firmware but is rooted and modified. Can i flash this without loosing data? My status will be official after flashing it without loosing data?

Samsung released the Full package of android 7 DPLT UK BTU for S7, You can flash it through ODIN:

my csc is INS, i want to install csc XTC.
is this possible?
by the way my original csc is GBL, then become MYM and last it become INS. maybe because i installed different roms from the past.

Bro... I tried GLB over INS odin failed to flash the firmware at the end ....
so i flashed INS 6.0.1 back...

If the FD version of the S8 is like the FD version of the S7, then yes, you can use F firmware and not loose dual SIM functionality.

First day out of the box: 17h on; and 3:30h screen on time. I was expecting more, gonna wait few days and some charges. Using FD version (exynos).

Normally I use this tools to download the firmwares. Download speed is very fast and it's quite easy to use. SM-G955FD model firmwares were available for download on Sammobile website. I have downloaded Singapore SM-G955FD firmware with this tools. Setup is very easy, just download and run the program on computer.

Technically that's true, but the update is rolling out now for both the S8 and S8+....so it's quite relevant
Though we need to avoid multiple "Oreo is out now!" threads appearing

Most probably we'll need to wait more until we'll get the Odin files for flashing

We may get the update in flashing Germany 7.0 through odin and then checking the OTA update, isn't it? which 7.0 rom in we should flash in this case?

nope sitting in the corner and pushing the "search for updates" button... i havent neither for the s8 nor my s8+

I am sitting here with Samfirm open and clicking the "Check Update" button but unfortunately it still says 7.0 Nougat is the current firmware for my Tmobile S8+

Maybe the OTA gets released for DBT, but i expect the full download monday or even tuesday.

Maybe they will start rolling out the updates for non beta users after MWC...

I know that since the S7 edge , but Sammobile divided it into 2 F & FD since the S8+
Was just confirming that i will be able to flash my FD with the DBT Oreo when the ODIN package is available
