m3 lite quirky strange graphics with 'cube' scroll effect - Huawei Mediapad M3 Questions & Answers

I recently purchased the Huawei M3 Lite - running EMUI 5.1, Android 7.0 - model CPN-W09
Running Nova launcher, when i scroll sideways the 'cube' scroll effect looks very strange - see attached (quirky.jpg). This doesn't just affect Nova Launcher, it seems any cube effect (for example, in Instagram) it has the same strange quirk. It looks like the background scrolls correctly but the text scrolls in the very opposite direction..
For comparison, I've uploaded a photo which shows how the transition is SUPPOSED to look (normal.jpg).
Anyone else have this problem, and/or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

Found the same problem on my huawei p10+ after update (it was ok on b123 now updated to b170). Did you dind solution? thanks

In some Huawei default apps there is a grey missing image placeholder in the background. Is this a known bug?

Animation distortion

Hi!
I've bought my p10 lite yesterday and i just noticed a strange animation behaviour. First i thought its just because i using the old nova launcher 3.3 version, bit i tested with the stock launcher too and the problem is the same. when i want to scroll between pages the animation has strange behaviour, like its using negative coordinates instead of positive. or something like this. i suppose this problem is must be in the framework. not a hw or the launcher software. is someone experienced the same bug? any idea how to fix this? i attach a screenshot:

Crude animation

Hi all,
I updated my Nokia 6 (2017) to Oreo, but after doing that the animations became crude. I still had haptic feedback but everything else looked as if the phone was running on battery saver. For example, when a YouTube video is loading, I see the 5 dots, not the usual rotating string thingy. The display doesn't change (the notification bar is not orange). I would be very grateful if someone could please tell me how to reverse this.
Yours sincerely,
Emmessy Squire
Make a hard reset after every major update, this will solve your problem
Remember major os upgrade not just security patch
Like 7.0 to 7.1.1
Then 7.1.2
8.0.0
8.1.0
Next will be
9.0.0 next year

In developer options, there are 3 animation speed settings. Make sure these are around 0.5 or 1.0x speed

Hi,
I've recently bought huwei nova 3i
it's currently running abdroid 8.1 and emui version 8.2
The problem I'm facing is with notification not poping up on screen.
But the sound of notification is happening. It just don't show the pop up of the notification. Done some search on google and looks to me it's a bug.
