Guys it's possible to go from 8.0 to 8.1 on nitrogen os. I just flashed 8.0(which I flashed with gapps) and just flashed 8.1 afterwards (without gapps) and it worked. Currently on 8.1 nos
Setup: rn3 pro Kate with nos and aroma 8.0 gapps. No need to wait for 8.1 gapps just upgrade nos from 8.0 to 8.1

You will have to flash the entire ROM.. There isn't OTA created yet to 8.1.

Hi!
I would suggest booting in to recovery and running the recovery option to download to back to stock rom (This may or may not delete your data so always back up!). However first check from firmware finder if EMUI 9 roms have been released to your specific version so you're sure your model has EMUI 9 available now. If so once you're in the stock rom it should update you to EMUI 9 and you can continue flashing Openkirins EMUI 9 roms. Please be aware Openkirins suggested Magisk installation does not work on EMUI 9. However there is another way to flash magisk to EMUI 9 roms.

I have an SM-J730F (j7y7ltexx) under android 9.0 the rom currently installed is J730FXXU6CSK6 (official rom) and I want to install lineage os 14.1 but when I flash the rom and gapps using twrp at the time of the reboot I get the lineage start screen but after 1 hour I still don't have the configuration screen. Can tell me what's wrong.
