Probably not worth buying it for such an old phone.
This is a late replay, but there are still options for a battery replacement:

has anyone bought a RedMi 3s from Aliexpress in India?? share the experience.

I want to upgrade from RedMi 1S to RedMi 3s Prime, but I don't have the patience or the strength to buy it from Flipkart thanks to the flash deals(RedMi 1s experience was enough). So I am considering getting one from Aliexpress.I know the I'll be paying more but I am OK with it.
Is it a good idea?, how long does it take to get delivered?
Why don't you try gearbest?

I bought a redmi 3s prime from aliexpress but was from China ( I'm in UK ) . Reason being was that the seller stocked the international version which has band 20 which is needed for some UK networks. Also, the rom was official global version and updated ota without problem. Beware some sellers who will put an unofficial rom on the phone which can't be updated unless you flash the right rom ( can be a tricky process ) . These ' vendor ' roms can also contain malware which can push loads of ads.

Is it better than Aliexpress? I don't know much about both of them. This will be my first experience buying a phone from a site like that.

No problems at all, sealed in box. The seller was called Xiaomi authorized dealer, not sure if it's true that they're Xiaomi authorized or not, but all OK and delivery was less than 2 weeks which ain't bad for standard free shipping from China.

Are All Xiaomi Mi 9Ts (not K20) Global w/ Multi-langs & Play Store Factory Installed?

Are All Xiaomi Mi 9Ts (not K20) Global w/ Multi-langs & Play Store Factory Installed?
Are all Xiaomi Mi 9T phones (not K20) global with multiple languages and Google Play Store factory installed? Or are there some Chinese Xiaomi Mi 9T phones with only English and Chinese without Google Play Store? I bought a 6GB/128GB one from this seller on AliExpress a couple of day's ago for $336 USD ($30 off now gone) and it said it was the global version. And all the pics were of the Xiaomi Mi 9T, not the Redmi K20.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33029802366.html
It said under FAQ:
1. Is Xiaomi Global Version Xiaomi Mi 9T (REDMI K20 ) in Stock Now?(You will get the Global Version Xiaomi Mi 9T (REDMI K20 )Xiaomi Mi 9T (REDMI K20 ) in Stock Now
2. What version do you sell for? It's Global version. The model name on the box is Xiaomi Global Version Xiaomi Mi 9T (REDMI K20 ).
3. Does it have multi-language and Google Play? For Global version Xiaomi Mi 9T (REDMI K20 ). it's Global version. it has multi-language and Google play ,OTA update
Then that info was deleted yesterday.
But later it said and still says:
3. Please leave us a comment if you want a sealed box. Otherwise we will unseal the box to do "Quality Control" and flash the multi-language ROM for the Chinese version. The original box from manufacturer is sealed. It's only with English and without "Play Store".
4. Newer ROMs might have minor bugs, please be understandable as we have no control over this. Especially new models are prone to minor bugs.
5. Please double check if the phone works with your carrier. It is very important! But then gave a link to a site that didn't include this phone.
So it's a bit confusing. Haven't been able to connect with the seller to clarify this. Tried cancelling this order but it didn't happen yet. And if it is the factory global version I'd let it go through. I live in the United States so need the extra frequency bands of a true global version to work with my carrier, not one with flashed multi-languages and Google Play Store added and limited frequency bands.
Thanks
I'm still trying to decide whether I want to cancel this order. I could just wait for the Mi 9T Pro in the next few months. That of course will be more expensive but does have a few better features. I'll see how it all plays out. If they don't cancel it and send it I can just resell it if I decide to as I got a great price on it.
First of all, the real Xiaomi Mi 9T comes with Google services (so playstore, etc) and has multi language support.
But what some resellers do, is get an K20 and flash a global rom on it. But then you'll still have the Redmi logo on the back. So before you order you'd better ask if it's really a Mi 9T (Xiaomi branding on the back of the phone). If not you'll properly end up with a redmi k20 running a global rom, and then you won't have band 20 for 4G.

Thanks. Yeah I understand all of that. In my questions to the seller I discussed all of that. But they haven't responded yet. Plus I already bought it and paid for it but it hasn't been shipped yet. I think now what might be happening is they were flashing a global multi-language ROM and adding Play Store to K20's before Mi 9T came out. But they left that in the description. But not sure why they removed all the description about it being a global version the day after I bought it. All the photos show the Mi 9T and someone who bought it showed the Mi 9T box in their review.

Just told the seller who hasn't read or responded to any of my messages yet:
"If this doesn't say "Mi" on the back of the phone, and if it doesn't come in a black box and say Mi 9T on the front of the box and Mi 9T Glacier Blue 6GB RAM 128GB ROM on the end of the box, then please cancel my order and refund my money. If it does come in a black box and say all of those things then we can complete this sale and you can please send it to me. But please don't open the box. Thanks very much. "
Ok, if the reviews show the 9T then you'll properly be fine
Enjoy the phone
I'm using a 128gb on Three UK and can confirm volte is working out of the box
Sent from my Mi 9T using Tapatalk
I bought from the same Seller and have also failed to get a response to messages or been able to cancel. First time buying on AliExpress and my last.
I have ordered from this seller several times, phones has been real global versions. Do expect some time before they are shipped, once I had to wait 3 weeks for the phone to be shipped.

I have the authentic 9T. Yes it came sealed and the box itself looks differently as compare to the K20 version. 9T came with a grey box with the photo of the 9T's front view. The K20 has no photos, with a black box and pick Chars that written "K20" on it. It is hard for them to reprint another box (plus the IMEI for each phone), too much hassles for them.
I'm opening right now my Global Mi9t , I'm from Mexico , updating the system right now , yes it comes with Google apps , and xiaomi bloatware lol , I'll wait a little until a good tool does all the work , so gonna stay stock for some months

Factory Sealed unopened ?
I sent them a message recently about the redmi k20 pro and they said they open them to test them, but maybe not the mi 9t
€390 for the 128 version is pretty decent it's €330 for 64gb one on amazon
I bough my mi9t from this https://fr.shopping.rakuten.com/offer?action=desc&aid=4827612891&productid=3974212410 and it is factory sealed. but look for other sellers https://fr.shopping.rakuten.com/mfp...10&filter=10&cid=5849175&scroll=shop_sections this from europe are even cheaper now, and probably they come factory sealed.
for this mine seller it is sure factory sealed.
i paid it 354eur, as rakuten offer me 30eur discount for sopping over 300eur
tradingshenzhen[dot]com also recently adjusted their prices for both versions 327,-€ / 64GB and 357,-€ / 128GB
It's also said that in their next delivery they will have all three colors available

i received bill with price, and imei number and it say i have warranty of 24months. But anyway i have 12 months of warranty of rakuten site.
how is warranty from goldway via alixpress?
If something wrong with the phone within 1 week of arrival goldway takes full responsibility. If you have problems with the phone after that - let's say 6 months and you have problems with your charging port goldway will take care of it but you as as a customer needs to pay the delivery fee to china, which is a hussle.
The best would be when we get the phone and with the correct IMEI the warranty would be accepted by xiaomi global - like if we can directly send the phone to xiaomi and not return to the seller in china.
yes, that would be the best if we get phone direct from xiaomi shop. but when i look to order mine, i was waiting for 17jun for official site of xiaomi in france, and i add to basket, but thinking which coclour, blue or black, and it takes me 1 min to think. and then when i click to confirm and buy, it was already sold, so i had to find alternative site to buy . i was not enough patient to wait for few days more, i could buy even cheaper then for 354eur.
i dont know about warranty, for me if it is in few first, lets say weeks all ok, then what could happen if i am not alone responsable. I have bad experience with meizu, even i send and i was ready to pay all expenses for repair of my phone, they didnt do, they even break connectors from power and vol+/- keys to main borad, and phone was not able to use after. when i send notice back about that connectors, they said it was already like this when they receive my phone.
same bad experience with huawei.
Exactly. That's why i'm not sure if I want to order the phone via those sites, because like you said...what if something happens? Like, i need a new battery? I need to send the phone back.wait at least 1 month etc...and there will always be something wrong with every phone.
But as I see now, even here in Croatia the MI 9t 64gb costs the same as the 128gb on alixpress, its just too expensive here.

Izvini nisam video da si iz Hrvateske . Sorry didnt see that you are from Croatia . In Serbia mi9t cost 380eur 64GB, it will be in shop from tomorrow. if someone wants sure warranty of 24moths then i think no doubt where to buy.
I chose to buy in sites as i posted or in aliexperes, or from local site name kupujemprodajem, i have sure 1year of warranty, and if i want new battery, i just can go at local service center and ask to put me new battery. even if i have to pay. for such things, it is cheaper to pay then to send phone back to china, and wait extra month, or even two to have phone back.

Yes, but if you change for example your battery at a local dealer (not authorised) - you void your 2 year warranty which is enforced by law. At least for all electronic products for the EU, i suppose Serbia enforces it as well. Keep that in mind.
Dvosjekli mač jel
Summa sumrum, you can change your battery wherever you like, but you lose your 2 year warranty. If i buy a phone from amazon (for example) i have a 2 year warranty by default. If i go and change something without amazon - so if i go to a local guy who can change it i lose the warranty.
you are right, but it is why we have options, to buy phone by lover price, and questioned warranty, or to buy overpriced phone with warranty ( but when it comes too, no we dont accept this, we dont accept that, .... )

Any idea where to get this phone for UK buyer like me. I checked honourbuy https://www.honorbuy.com/1687-xiaom...-blue.html#/option-global_version_6128gb_blue and its coming from Germany which is fine but then in checkout delivery I found additional shipping cost to UK €17.00 added to it.

Yea,that kind of bummed me out a bit too, there not exactly selling the phone at it's cheapest either but if you wanted to get it quick it's an option,I would check eBay,or Amazon if you want the 64gb version,
I haven't found a site that doesn't charge extra for shipping besides eglobal but I find them very dodgy,(though I've heard good things also)

I had a really weird experience with eglobal today that put me off them all together.I added my personal info in and was thinking hard on the 9T in my cart but had to leave the site to get back to work
Got about 10 missed calls throughout the morning from places like Africa,Burundi, Switzerland, definitely scamming attempts ,then this evening got email from eglobal saying I'd left an item in my cart just click here price is 9999,I'm sure if I clicked they would of tried to charge me that.
Looking elsewhere now,but still unsure as have a 6T at the moment but really like the 9T design and cameras. The mi 9 is too similar to my 6T. Also kind of keen on the k20 pro so thinking might be worth waiting for a mi 9T pro

wow... scammers... Burundi in Africa, even Switzerland? wow...are you in UK or where are you. I am in UK.
The decision with 9t is because I dont need all that selfie camera movement, I am fine with simple stuff but then the fact that I cant charge phone and use my head phone at same time is not good.
The its more expensive and yeah... its the headphone input that killed it.
Do you know when Mi 9T pro is coming out?

Want to purchase this device in 2022. Used or new.

Hello everyone,
As the title suggests, i want to buy this device again in 2022. This was my second phone back in 2015, and i absolutely loved it, unfortunately it's motherboard died few years back and i dont even remember how that happened. I've been searching for places to purchase this again from, used or new. I am from India, so if anybody from India who still has this device (or if you have the Redmi Note "Prime", that'd be even better) in a good condition wants to sell it for me, or if anybody can provide me with any international shopping site link for this device or its motherboard, please contact me @sanchit_0212 on Instagram. Thank you.
