Outdoor visibility (max brightness) - Honor View 10 Real Life Review

Rate this thread to express how well you can see the Honor V10's display outdoors. In case you've been playing Minecraft for 18 months straight, you might not known how to get outside anymore. Well, find the door and walk through it. A higher rating indicates that it has very high maximum brightness and thus fantastic outdoor visibility in direct sunlight.

EMUI is the user interface that comes on installed Honor and Huawei phones. EMUI features Huawei Home, phone manager, themes, media apps, and is heavily baked in to the entire system UI. While EMUI has a lot of great features to offer (Screen recording, gesture controls, camera app ect.) many people have serious complaints about it.
For a long time, EMUI has been considered one of the more negative aspects of getting an Honor or Huawei device. Over the years EMUI has evolved to be much better and now hosts a great selection of valuable features.

The Honor View 10 can get plenty bright in outdoor situations. I have never had an issue.

Color saturation & accuracy

If you're colorblind, please disregard this thread. Rate this thread to express how you deem the color saturation and accuracy of the Honor 6X's display. A higher rating indicates that you think that color accuracy is very high and saturation is excellent.

Color accuracy isn't very good, especially for an IPS panel. Definitely a disappointment if you're used to the very saturated AMOLED displays, or even higher quality IPS displays. Blacks are pretty good, but color accuracy seems, at least subjectively, not much better than that of my Moto E 2015.
Both of the sites below have measured the Honor 6x screen for color accuracy/temperature/brightness/contrast etc. No need to ask opinions. On one of the sites, you can plug in your favorite phone to see how its results measure up to the Honor 6x.

For color accuracy, the 6X's Delta-E rating of 3.28 was once again better than the smartphone average (4.1), as well as the scores of the LeEco (4.99) and the Axon 7 Mini (3.92). (Numbers closer to 0 are better in this test). Once again, the Moto G4 Plus sported superior numbers, with a Delta-E rating of 2.33.
The one area where the Honor 6X fell a bit flat was color range. Covering 114 percent of the sRGB gamut, the 6X trails the LeEco Le S3 (137 percent) and the ZTE Axon 7 Mini, whose OLED screen hit 177 percent. The Moto G4 Plus' color range was more limited.
Color accuracy isn't very good
it is moderate and can not be differentiated with end user perspective. Not all the users can really understand or differentiate this so this is not an issue here at all.
Not so good but not bad either.moderate you can say
Bright colors are nice. Feels good to watch HD movies.
not that great..but ok
Good for the price.
Colors aren't great. Videos and images looked washed out and dull.

Battery and performance could be better but everything else is just super good.
I love the look and the performance is okay. I love the haptic, feels rich and robust. Don't like that it doesn't come with a case as do most Huawei models I've read about.
A superb phone, nice design, perfectly fits your palm, fast camera with good picture (my overall impression, it is on par with Galaxy S7, at least), crisp and bright enough screen, yada yada ..
But it has three drawback:
1. SoC with a rather old (years-old) technology. If only it uses SD660 ... But it still does its job well.
2. Very aggressive background task killing, which cannot be overridden even if you whitelisted apps (whitelist seems to have no effect at all).
3. No gesture control feature (seems like it is given for the P20 and P20 Pro only), which is a shame given that it has ultra wide (tall) screen with notch.
Overall still 5 stars from me, because for the price, it worth every penny.

I compared the Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 screen, both in the same place and same time, with the screen of my LG G7 in the 3 minutes supermax brightness mode. Both huawei phones had the flash of my LG G7 directly pointed in the ambient/light sensor. I disagree with all the reviews I've seen. Everyone will the you the Mate 20 Pro has a "better" screen, but I doubt anyone has really compared them side by side outdoor. IMHO if you look for sunlight visibility, the Mate 20 and its RGBW screen is the one to get. The Mate 20 Pro screen was less bright than my G7, although it was beautiful and the color was very stable from every angle thanks to the AMOLED screen. The Mate 20 was indeed brighter than my LG G7 (remember I was in the in the 3 minutes 1000+ NITS mode), so I guess that must be one of the brightest screen ever made to date. I'm writing to inform anyone and to ask owners of the mate 20 to test the max brightness of their phones. Does it shut off after 3 minutes as my LG or is it usable for few hours outside? That's a very important factor to me, and I couldn't test the phones as much as I would as my time was limited. Thanks to anyone sharing their comments.

Can't wait for source code release. This phone has so much potential.
Awesome phone. No complaints, except that the software needs to be polished. Things I've noticed in the UX: In the contacts, the display of organization along with job title is confusing. Not separated by any symbols, the look is very unprofessional. The Settings can be better organized and the notification panel can be compacted. Not more than 2-3 notifications can be viewed in the first screen which is a pain with such a large display panel.

So far, nothing special but high value for money
I like the long last of the battery. Capable of 2 Days by me.
This is definitely amazing, in comparison to my previous Galaxy S7.
I really like the phone. One of the best ones I've ever used. 120hz screen is smooth most of the time. 6 ram smooth operation, really like it.
does it have problem as POCO X3 with conversation being heard by other people? Since many compare those two phones.
I am very satisfied with the Mi 10T Lite. High quality workmanship for the price league. Battery last two days with "normal use".
