How Long Till Xposed Works On 5.0.1.

I upgraded to 5.0.1 on my S4 expecting everything to work fine. Didn't know Xposed wouldn't be compatible. So how long till they update it? These youtube ads are unbearable!
There's a beta version that works.

I've been searching through these forums for an hour and haven't found anything definite. I don't want to install the wrong thing, sorry.
Hey, I googled "xposed xda" the top link was to the xda article. There was a link to the xposed Framework forum. The top link in the forum is "[Xposed for Android 5.1] Make ~99% of modules work." Took all of 45 seconds. (I'm a little slow.)
I'm looking in that thread and it doesn't tell me how to install the framework on my 5.0.1 S4 and it's also detailing Android 5.1, not 5.0.1
It works on aosp, TW is buggy and can cause a boot loop so use with caution. BTW the xposed thread is under the apps forum not the phone forum

I don't know what TW or asop is. I'm guessing you mean TWRP recovery?

TW is touch-wiz by Samsung
AOSP is Android Open Source Project by Google and it's contributors.
They use different roms and kernels.

I understood your question, and told you to search on CM 13 thread.

marshmallow for op5

we need marshmallow rom, there are still people that dont want to update to nougat due to xposed not being compatible
Next time I would think of that BEFORE buying a phone...
You cannot build a version of Android older than the one with which the phone shipped - it is stated on the Building AOSP section by Google.
Xposed is so last year, magisk FTW

Use magisk. It has got most of the xposed features
Magisk as an xposed replacement? Guys, you have no idea what you're talking about.

Lol, I was just about to make this post. I was wondering if there was a way to back port a streamlined MM build. I need Xposed, to run xprivacy.
Is this some kind of joke? Lol

It's probably technically possible with some hard work (isn't worth it).
A better option would be to build Lineage 14.1 with the unofficial Xposed for Nougat patches.

[XPOSED] Xposed for nougat now available!

Rovo89 has stated that he is too busy to work on xposed framework for nougat and has given other developers the go ahead in further development of xposed. Xposed framework is now available and working for nougat. Head here to test and report bugs for development.

Did you read any of the thread that I linked to? Man, the laziness never ceases to amaze me on here.
I'm using xposed in Nitrogen OS, most of the modules are incompatible but the ones that work are pretty stable.

Can you please tell.

Anyone Tried the New Android N Version of Xposed on the Pure with a 7.1 Rom Yet?

I found 1 post in an android 7 Xposed thread where someone said their Pure with a 7.1 rom was bootlooping after installing it which got no responses. Has anyone else tried it yet? I've been holding out on upgrading to 7 because I use Xposed pretty heavily.
I'm not sure - but I think there isn't stock Nougat for Pure yet.
Also no Stock 7.1 for Pure & Style. No one could test Xposed on Pure. @TallgeeseIV

Ah, are all the 7.1 roms hybrids compiled from scratch instead of based on an official release then?
Official sources weren't published yet. @TallgeeseIV

Yeah I personally would stay away from the unofficial Xposed. There seems to be too much wrong with it it's not ready
