Did you read any of the thread that I linked to? Man, the laziness never ceases to amaze me on here.

I'm using xposed in Nitrogen OS, most of the modules are incompatible but the ones that work are pretty stable.

Once you got working volte on any rom then it works on all nougat toms. It has something to do with miui frameworks.

I doubt. I tried earlier version of LOS and they were pretty bad. Lots of issues and bad battery.
Using AOSP with radon from last 2months. Very satisfied.
Mokee is also very good and stable with good battery back-up.It has much less bugs than above mentioned roms , it supports Substratum completely and best of all u get daily incremental update.

Its pre-rooted, just enable root from developer option. No need to flash anything for root.

I use WETA which I guess is a modified debloated stock. Get to keep the stock lg camera and second screen. Have magisk and xposed working too.
Although I'm probably switching to a AOSP rom like Resurrection once the 2nd screen api is more stable to implement.
Missing the smoothness and customizations from my 6p ROMs without having to a use a bunch of xposed modules.

Yeah i saw that also on AFH. Don't have time to testing it yet.
Some Q's:
•Any issue on DU 12's build so far?
•Does it passed on safetyNet check using magisk (which ver.)?
•Would you mind post some ss under DU tweaks and about phone section. Thank you.

Here, using magisk 14.0 safety net passes successfully, but with safety net fixer module installed. Otherwise, cts false and basicintegriry true.
Since it is an initial build, DU Tweaks hasn't completed yet, missing many main features like smartbar, pulse, fling, DU ticker etc. Can't post ss yet, kinda busy right now (maybe later).

Thank you for the info. Smartbar one of the feature i need. I'll just wait for the next build then.
Anyway does SafetyNet fixer module available through magiskmanager? or else..?
Edit: Never mind buddy.. Flashed the usnf hot fix and safetyNet check all green now. *Magisk 14.3 :good:
How is the battery life compared to aosp? Better?
FM Radio
Hi everyone,
can I ask to Dev (from now our god!) if FM Radio will be implemented on this ROM?
EDIT:
Overnight freeze for me this morning.
Ok after some time and couple cycles:
Echo and distortion in WA voice/video calls.
Overnight freeze (auto reboot itself).
Battery stuck at certain % after long charging and then (suddenly) drop significant, eventually.
Battery drainage very high.
**guess the kernel was the culprit, idk. Well i think the dev doesn't really care either (too much busy perhaps :silly: ) very nice ROM btw.
Soo definitely switched back to Michi's ROM :highfive:
Onyx is an officially supported device so please don't share unofficial builds on XDA. I realize there hasn't been an official release lately as our maintainer is currently taking exams, hopefully that will be remedied soon. Happy New Year from the GZR team

ROMS can work with MicroG

I'm using the last validus Rom. This ROMS can work with MicroG, or some oreo that can work with MicroG?

After ticking all the things and reboot, it works perfect.

[Discussion] ViPER4Android treble

Hi,
I own Honor 7X and unfortunately their not ViPER4Android working on emui 8 due to lib64.
My hopes and dreams are Treble with ViPER4Android working.
I try AOSP and can't make ViPER4Android working, every time he ask to install driver again and again.
Same with RR and LineageOS.
Use ViPER4Android apk, ViPER4Android zip on TWRP or viper4arise or magisk module.... Same ****.
Someone have successfully install and working ViPER4Android on Treble Rom?
Pls, thx
I don't think that will ever be implemented in a treble based ROMs.. the whole point of treble is to have one generic system image for multiple devices, and non hardware specific changes won't most likely be included. Example the essential pH-1 has the camera mod that clips on the phone, well that isn't supported and isn't going to be..now devices with softkeys and navbars will have a commit to include this support. You may want to just try some other equalizers on the play store
Did you try installing V4A through magisk?
I did and it's working great [emoji16]

Installing with TWRP wont work cuz of missing libs on AOSP. Install Magisk and the Viper4Android module , this will add the necessary additions and modifications. It´s the only way

The point is , Viper was meant to install on custom roms not stock aosp rom. This is stock android not a custom rom base on aosp.

I use the magisk module on Lineage 15.1 treble on my mido, working great. You need to uninstall AudioFx though since it's the default equalizer.

I work with ViPER4Android since Galaxy S2, I always managed to make ViPER4Android work.
But with treble I can't. ViPER4Android always ask me to install driver again ans again.
I try on LineageOS, AOSP, RR. No matter I use apk from xda labs or flash zip in Twrp, etc...
If someone can explain what he/she did to make Viper work.
Really appriciated

This issue is about EMUI 8 kernel. When you flash Treble GSIs you don't touch the phone's kernel and EMUI 8 kernel doesn't allow any sound mods to work correctly

Yeah I'm getting that too. Maybe I'll try flashing custom kernel and seeing if that works. I heard that it doesn't work even with custom kernel because the vendor partition still contains files from EMUI that prevent Viper from working, but I don't know much about the topic...

The rejection of V4A drivers is often caused by Selinux. I have to set it to Permissive every time I install V4A drivers ( after you reboot, just set back to Enforcing and V4A will still work ).
I don't have a Huawei device but just wanted to mention it in case you guys haven't tried that.
