is there anyways to flash or root with superSu without custom recovery - Xiaomi Redmi Pro Questions & Answers

This is not for redmi pro but for another phone. The reason I need to know this is because my other phone has modding support whatsoever, it called ZTE/spark r84. Back to the main point is there anyway to root without custom recovery, I've tried kingroot doesn't work. All help are appreciated

Towelroot + TWRP Advice

Hi,
Ok guys so a friend of mine wanted root on his S4 Gt-i9500, which I got for him using towelroot, no problems there and for a while he was happy with the root access and getting his phone debloated and a few other bits and bobs. However now he wants to try a couple of AOSP roms, and has asked me to help, which Im happy to do.
If it was my phone I'd take my chances and see what happens but with someone elses device I feel like I should be a bit more responsible, although I have made the dangers clear.
So what I want to do Is add a custom recovery, I've done a bit of googling and I can find out how to do it easy enough when rooted the traditional way, but my concern would be will I run into any problems with the Bootloader still being locked if I just flash a twrp .img with Flashify?
Maybe I should do a full unroot, and root via CF-Root Method and then find a TWRP .tar and flash with Odin.
Not used to having the Bootloader Locked issues as I use a HTC so is an easy unlock.
Any advice people can give would be helpful, hopefully I can just use Flashify and keep it as simple as possible
Ok, just to make things crystal clear, there is a big difference between a locked (i.e. encrypted) bootloader as found on AT&T and Verizon phones, and a SEAndroid Enforcing (aka Knox) bootloader. With the former you cannot customize the firmware that came with the phone, but developers have found workarounds. With Knox, you're still able to root and install custom ROMs if desired. You simply lose the ability to use Knox, which most of the userbase doesn't care about. In HTC speak, all Galaxy S4 bootloaders except the AT&T and Verizon models are equivalent to S-Off.
For installing TWRP, downloading an image and installing through Odin will work. TWRP Manager from the Play Store can also do the job, and do it without you being connected to the PC. Once you have TWRP installed, installing a custom ROM is quick, easy, and painless. Custom ROMs are usually pre-rooted, i.e. including SuperSU or Clockworkmod Superuser. This means you won't have to root again.

Can't Unroot S4?

So, i tried to Root my GF's I9506 with CF-Autoroot.
Safteynet fails and PokemonGo doesn't work, login problems.
I Unrooted trough SuperSU, restarted the phone a couple of times but PoGo still wont login.
She's on Stock Samsung Rom with Stock Recovery.
What can i do?
I was able to Re-Root with SuperSU for some reason. Had to update the binary tho. That's strange...
Shouldnt work if SuperSU unrooted in the first place?
Maybe it leaves files behind. If you're interested, there are ways to hide root from the game.
Anyway, the only sure way to remove root would probably be the flashing of a stock ROM.

Hmm. She really dosen't want to do a factory reset. so i guess i have to hide it then..
I think there are a few options i think all of them needs another recovery though:
Magisk + Magiskhide + phh
SuperSu, Suhide
Something called iSu.
Might it help to root again, remove anu "Su" files and folders trough ES Filexplorer? Then unroot from SuperSu?
If the phone is running a stock ROM, flashing a stock ROM usually leaves all of the data intact.

Removing any root file live might break root, which in turn won't let you remove any of the other files left.
Besides, you don't even know what files to look for.
Having a custom recovery won't affect her usage of the phone, nor the game. Besides, it gives you the benefit of making a Nandroid backup.
Ty for all the answers. So a custom Recovery doesn't trigger Saftynet?
Might as well install TWRP, backup and try to reflash stock rom from there.
Samsung Galaxy S4 International Qualcomm (jfltexx)
Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Advanced i9506 (ks01lte)
Which one? i suppose its the 9506, flashhing my old CF-autoroot for my 9505(jfltexx) didn't work.
To flash a stock ROM, you need Odin, Samsung phone drivers, and the stock ROM from sammobile.com.
OK. But i'll do a backup on twrp first. Ty ty
Fixed it! Reflashed stock Rom with Odin and now Pogo works again!
Ty a lot for all the help. you guys are the best!

S7 edge I do root via the SuperSU flashable zip file via a custom recovery. Other methods don't seem to work well with S7 on nougat because the user data partition needs to be reformatted in custom recovery (TWRP usually) in advance when you want to root the phone.
You'll need to backup the phone before hand and set it up from its initial state after rooting it.

Do not use SuperSu to root S7 as its not compatible and only meant to be used on older phones. It will not work on Android 8.

SM-G5520 Nougat Not Flashing GApps with Flashfire after rooting with magisk, Help me

I Have SM-G5520 Nougat, I rooted it successfully here
Link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sa...g5520-g5520zcu1brb1-nougat-root-twrp-t3772104
But, as mentioned there, I run Flashfire, Grant root access, Browse for GApps.zip and flash it, but after click on flash screen goes black and didn't show any proccess of flashing GApps.
After waiting 2 - 4 Hours, There was still a black screen like my phone is off and I restart my phone. Now there is not a single GApp installed there. Please help me to flash GApps.
I continue my research on rooting and flashing and i got some points that are below,
1. Magisk is system-less root that's why when ever i tried any app to modify system folder or root directory my phone got restart.
2. I tried SuperSU system-less but the device isn't going to root.
3. I tried King Root, Kingoapp, OneClickRoot, Dr. Phone root, iRoot and much more with and without PC but my device was not going to root but only Magisk root my device.
4. I tried CFAuto Root with all modifications but due to my phone didn't have "OEM Unlock" option, flashing CF Root cause failure.
5. I tried to push GApps into Original Firmware, but that way takes a lot time and i failed there because of security reasons (And that was my first attempt to modify "Firmware" I must failed ).
All the conclusion of my work let me know that i have to root my SM-G5520 Nougat as system root that will going to work 100% to flash GApps.
Now Please help me to root system wise and flashing GApps.
Thanks Advance

Root with app.

hello I have tried several applications to try to get root on my redmi 3s device without getting good results. I would like to get root without adb or fastboot, just with some application. I already tried with kingroot, framaroot, a Chinese native etc .... the version that I have installed today is MIUI 10.2 stable version running marshmallow 6.0.0. thanks for helpme:good:
When I wanted to root, I also used all of these apps but they could not root my REdmi 3s. If you have a PC best way is to unlock the bootloader and then install TWRP and then flash magisk or SuperSU zip file.

Yes friend, that is indeed the best way, what I wanted is to find an application that would do it by itself, I think that with the MIUI stable you can not without PC. I already have the bootloader unlocked for years, but I reinstalled the stable MIUI and I left it like that, in the past I tried many ROMs. Thank you very much for trying to help, it does so in console and with the command adb fastboot flash recovery.
AFAIK there might be no app that could root MIUI phones or perhaps newer android versions because I tried using these apps on my Lenovo K8 Note also which is stock Android 8.1 and they couldn't root that either.
