AOSP Extended is an AOSP based rom which provides stock UI/UX with various customisations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. I have been loving AospExtended on my moto g 1st gen. But not sure aboout p2 as there is not much development right now for this device.

I'm not using the official build in aex too I'm using an old test build in which volte isn't working and to be frank I don't need volte.
(In short) Yes, aex(not after but above deodexed) is better than deodexed for sure!
Great work by devs of aex and subhaam for making it available for P2.

After 360 hours of waiting i finally unlocked my Redmi 5!
In the thread of LineageOS i see allot of people complaining of this or that. So i tried this ROM and i everthing seems to work. GPS, fingerprint, smooth & fast.
Will edit this post in a week with additional info.

Download buildprop editor from playstore.edit it.and search that line .than delete it and save the buildprop again.thn reboot.and u r done

This ROM has prebuilt root? And work with beacon kernel?

No root (install Magisk via TWRP). Beacon Kernel works well so far.

Can I dirty flash this rom over the treble version of AOSP EXTENDED?

I can't install magisk after the update.

If I can flash this over my official non-Treble AospExtended, you're my new hero.
The unwillingness of the official devs to provide installation instructions on how to switch to a Treble ROM if you are on an official ROM without Treble was extremely irritating.

That would be cool. I'm using a substratum theme for that since I like to determine the radius myself

Not able to sign in to google account at the initial pixel setup....stuck on checking for updates..
I downloaded gapps 24 times but the issue persists..so gapps packages are not faulty..also same gapps worked on aex5.6 official treble...

flashed arm64 open gapps mini here, no problems! clean flash!

best rom I've ever use! got 7 hours screen on time and still counting! this rom should have more development so it'll stable as silk! anyway good job developer!

I flashed this ROM, but I see one but important bug. It's GSM bug. I am inserted SIM card, but phone sees No service. The GSM is working in recently flashed ROM, I inserted SIM to Old nokia 5210, it worked!

No. It's compatible with Samsung J2 (2015) and need to LTE variant.

I'm going to flash my J200BT (brazilian variant) with it, i'll let you know if there's bugs or not.

Camera and torch doesn't work, but the rest it's all perfect, pretty smooth ROM too bad it has this cam issue.

It's known to have issues with J200BT, as started, refer to the LineageOS 14.1 bug list.

4g not work

fix 4g pls

Fixed the Lineage os 4g issue, but incoming and outgoing calls are unable to transmit sound and have the same issue when sending messages. Can you fix 4g on rom and solve your sound problem?

I have found the camera module to not work , just displays a black screen in J2lte, any fixes or work around ? , coz otherwise this is an awesome rom to use as a daily driver, really appreciate your efforts, Kudos to the team!
