You just turn off the TTY Mode on call setting > accessibility. And done

I thought that before, but in some other Forums over at pocketpc.ch ive seen some other people are having the same issue. And the Headset works perfect for music listening for example.
Sorry for misspelling, im in College at the Moment.
Oh...check to see if you have the accessibility features on for TTY. I did that once before. Turn it off in the settings section.

They are still a very-very frustrating error! Missed very much call!
maybe a solution:
go to SETTINGS -> ABOUT PHONE -> DIAGNOSTICS ->TEST DEVICE -> EARSPEAKER
select "NO"
now I can receive calls with Looudspeaker
So far this is the only bug I've experienced on KitKat - sometimes after a call music will only play through the ear speaker until reboot

Does not work. I have checked every possible solution I have read and none of them works. Sony should have given an update right after the kit kat release. It's a shame for Sony.

[Q] Having problems on call volume on the other side of the call

Hi, does anyone have same problem as I? Almost everyone I call is telling me they can hear me very low. I can hear them perfectly and all of the rest regarding sound volume is perfect.

Check to see if you have any gunk in the mic hole. I highly doubt that your mic is the issue.

I've got exactly the same problem. The phone is brand new, the mic hole is not blocked at all. I dont want to send it to service beacause it takes like 2 weeks to get it solved. Are there any service codes for sm-g900f to solve such issues? Any suggestions?

it happens to me sometimes. I am not sure if it is a fault in the handset or something else. normally it works fine, but yes I started getting complaints that my voice is far away after buying the S5 (happened to me 3 or 4 times within one month)

Try turning off Noise Reduction in the dialer settings menu. This will cause this type of problem for some people. The other TW builds that have it, also have a touchscreen button so it can be easily disabled while in-call but ours is buried in the menu.

Good deal.
I used to have a lot of problems with that feature on my Galaxy SIII.
But it didn't seem to affect everyone.

It has not solved mine, though. I noticed that if there is an app running in the bacground it worsens the case. Do not know why. Perhaps I will debrand my phone and change it to xeo.

Google Now Not Working

Hi everyone! Just got the Edge after switching to Verizon (damn Note not available thanks to recall) and I have a problem with Google Now not hearing any voice commands. If I have a bluetooth headset on it works fine, but using the phone's mic somehow doesn't work. I tested S Voice and that responds fine, but when I switch to Google it doesn't work at all. Already tried uninstalling updates and switching off permissions.
Thanks!
You know the screen has to be on, or the device has to be charging for Google Now voice commands to work right? Other than that, I don't know what the problem could be.
Yes, but even from inside the app, if I click on the mic, and hear the confirmation sound, the phone won't hear anything I say unless I deep throat the phone, and even then it misinterprets my commands. S Voice and the voice recorder app work fine, but just not Google Now.

Is your offline language set to the language you speak? Verify that and also try to retrain the recognition. If that doesn't work I know that the S6 had problems with Google now working when S Voice wasn't disabled.
Sorry for the delay but yes it is. I have since gotten rid of the S7 Edge in order to get the Note...lucky me...but thanks for your help!

A little off topic, but you kept your note?
I had this issue when I had Cortana installed with Hey Cortana turned on. No chance you have that on is there?
Didn't see you had gotten rid of it....best of luck.

I'm waiting for the damn Pixel to ship. Just annoying because so many Note users have to buy different phones so it's getting backed up.
