Seems there is no data roaming switch which I thought was a feature in Android phones.or maybe just a feature by Samsung

I'm sorry. Honestly can't remember, and no longer have my LG V30.
I think it was stock. I was using the US998 firmware.

In all honesty, and trying to be nice, but we English-speaking people have no idea what you mean by the above. Please try to explain it better.
"Shoot lightning" could mean how do you take pictures of lightning with a camera, because the word "shoot" often means to take a picture.
"could not be lit" could mean 100 different things.
Although I have a feeling that English is not your first language, you need to take more time to explain things before we can help.

Similarly, I have no idea what YOU said above. It makes no sense; however, seeing that you live in Canada (Mississauga, like me), you should know better. Please speak English.

Or perhaps OP is asking how to turn on the flash? Just hit the gear icon when you have the camera open and switch it to auto flash if necessary.

I always like to look at their endurance ratings... and I'm surprised that the M8 is nearly the same as the Note 3, and higher than the G2. Hopefully it holds up in practice =\
Another review. Again the camera is called into question.

Same here that camera is a huge barrier to its purchase.
I'm very happy with the performance of the old camera, it's the only one getting my kids without Blur. But... I was hoping for a combined pic of he two to at least 8. There is a time when you want to zoom, not often but it happens. Probably will go for it but I don't understand how hey did think there.

As the new one has no OIS that may no longer be the case.

We'll have to wait and see but I am a little concerned about this part too. I have shaky hands which is one of the reasons I loved the camera on the M7. The camera is probably the least important feature for me but when I do want to use it, I need to be able to get good shots the first time which is what the M7 offered me.

It's not ois but shutterspeed that makes the Blur go away in Ok light. Ois is good when using slower shutterspeeds, but the camera is good at keeping those down if it not to dark. I could be wrong, it happens

If you look at the GSMArena review I am not sure that they were all that convinced by what had been put in place supposedly instead of OIS.

Grand Canyon South Rim
Taken with the latest update 11/21/2014
HDR seems to be more aggressive
One is kind of a meta picture of my girlfriend taking a picture with a droid turbo, the walkway photo is that picture, for comparison(aw snap, its compressed)
I've always thought that it took decent pictures regardless of the update. they might not be the most accurate of the most sharp, but I personally think the pictures these phones take have more character than other phones I've used.

Common sense isn't all that common
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but, I'm running a rooted T-Mobile v10. I installed busybox, and Kernel Auditor, and I'm trying to set the 2 big CPUs max frequency to 1824 mhz, and it keeps resetting back to 1440, anybody know why this might be happening? And if I'm not mistaken, since many phones utilize the same CPU, wouldn't it be possible to simply port over another kernel from a similar device?
---------- Post added at 02:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:40 AM ----------
I got 57720 in antutu using the performance govener
---------- Post added at 03:16 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:54 AM ----------
One last thing I want to ask, in regards to performance vs battery. I noticed that two separate goveners can be used, one for the two big cores, and another for the two little cores. Wouldn't it be ideal to use a power saving governor on the more power hungry cores, and use a performance one on the slower cores, to maintain snappiness and conserve some power at the same time?
