I have come to load now tv on my note 3 and it says it isnt compatible .. has anyone managed to get it to work ?
It works fine on the s4 and note 2 so im not sure why it wont work on our beautiful note 3
Any ideas how to get it to work ? (without rooting)
I know Note 2 worked well but has anyone tried the Note 3 with appradio 3? Thanks!

Was also looking for a solution to make my Galaxy S8+ to work with my Windows 10 laptop too.

Sadly, Dex for PC is not compatible with our Galaxy S8. I think it is rude to make it only available for Android 10+, as the Galaxy S8 will not receive that update. So, there are only a few options you guys can try:
1. Wait for someone to make a One UI 2.0 Rom based on Android 10 (which I think wont take long from now on)
2. Buy a Dex Station/Dex Pad/ HDMI to USB-C Cable and connect it to a monitor to use DeX
3. Switch to a Galaxy S9/S10/S20 (would not recommend that, if it is only for DeX)
4. Try SideSync or another application if you only want to mirror your phone screen on a PC
Hello guys. I don’t get the MacBook recognises my Samsung Galaxy Active Tab Pro using Samsung Dex. It does recognise the device using Android File Transfer for instance, instead. I have tried installing and te installing both softwares.
The Samsung Chat Support told me I need to buy the Samsung Dex cable, but as far as I know it is an USB-C to HDMI cable, so the connection would not be so “clean”. Actually I have seen Samsung Dex devices working on MacBooks without such a cable.
Any ideas please? I’m desperate because I need it for my work.
Your device doesn't support Samsung DEX. It only works on high-end Samsung devices from the Note 8 onwards.
