If you're game to give the HWOTA method a try, there are some instructions over in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/mha-l29bc636b183-firmware-available-t3625358/page4
Make sure you do a full back up (I've found Hi-Suite does a great job of this) as it will wipe your phone.

Just updated to B187

i cant update my device coz the system detects that my device has been rooted though i already unroot it in the SuperSU app as stated on the One Click root thread.
Flashed with flash tool over 20h on a phone from VDF Romania. All went well, nothing spectacular to report works and seems as snappy (or choppy) as 20H was. Needs some settling in to decide but guess there are improvements (or slowdowns) somewhere there deep in the code.
hi can someone confirm the baseband version on their about .
i just flashed the modem only and i want to confirm it went ok.
many thanks
so whats new ? any news for when we will get the 5.1 SW -_-

You do not need root to install with KDZ files numerous guides to do it on the forums with a quick search.
the most important change is voLTE support, at least here in italy

32.1.A.1.185 New Update Now Avaliable How To Install

New Update!!
The title on this thread is just a bit misleading... This in no way explains how to install, what kind of Z5 P device it is or anything... Hardly worth a whole new thread, either, when this is being discussed in the 'Marshmallow available now' thread...

I think I have latest firmware from :
1298-2969 Customized MAA 32.1.A.1.185-R7C

Same customization of mine but I'll wait for the one rootable.
Hi OP. Were you be able to update it?pls consider to check if the kernel is the same as stock version of firmware 163? if it is still the same, I think we can still use the current custom kernels
Kernel is the same.

Does a diffrent firmware void your warranty? And if i do can i also turn back to my own cda when tmobile nl 6.0 has been released?
For E6853
The custom kernels work, but it's registered at the older firmware version, making the system update pop up even though you have it installed. I customized the stock kernel for the latest update with the help from @tobias.waldvogel tool from:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/development/root-automatic-repack-stock-kernel-dm-t3301605

It has DRM restore injected, latest TWRP 3.0.1 and support for root. The rest is stock.
I would recommend flashing the latest firmware with Flashtool without wiping any data and flash the kernel afterwards in fastboot

Make sure to navigate to the correct directory you have it downloaded so it can detect the IMG.
No need for installing recovery as it already has this. From recovery just flash the latest SuperSU and you have root.

OTA Updates with TWRP? or replace TWRP with stock recovery?

I've unlocked the bootloader and replaced with TWRP.
However, TWRP doesn't handle the OTA updates automatically.
Is there a way to use TWRP to do the update?
If not, is there a way to replace TWRP with the stock recovery?
This is for a Moto G4, build number MPJ24.139-48
TWRP can't handle OTA updates. You have to reflash the stock recovery in order to apply OTAs. You can grab -48's stock ROM here, pull out the recovery.img, boot into fastboot and flash it like you did TWRP.
Ok just had an update ota a flashed stock recovery but now when i hit xheck update its coming back as device up to date any advice
flashfire should be able to do the OTA for you, or you can do an adb sideload. do you mind if I ask which g4 you have and which OTA you are seeing? i have an amazon channel xt1625, and was lucky enough to unlock the bootloader before that window closed, but I haven't seen or heard of any OTA's for the amazon or non-amazon channel devices.

New B391 update for FRD-L04

A new update just showed up on firmware finder. Hopefully we'll get it in another month or so. By the amount of features and changes it is bringing it might be EMUI 5.1
Edit: Turns out it is just EMUI 5.
