To have this switch visible you need a valid path to bootSound.ogg
I know two possibilities, but with balong error the cust may not work.
1. Under the system => /system/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
2.Under the Cust (for EU location) => /cust/hw/eu/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
This work together with a valid bootanimation.

One more site to have bootSound.ogg => /system/etc/media/audio/animationsounds/bootSound.ogg
Maybe in your case some settings are hidden and do not show the switch. In my case if I broken the path or remove the bootsound file the switch desapear.
Can you do some tests?
I can try your prop files or other files.

No luck for me. I have installed the Honeycomb Music app and removed the Froyo app. This one doesn't have much at all in settings. Anyone else?
Also my loud speaker and phone speaker are simply not loud enough. Any noise at all nearby and I cannot hear the caller talking. Do you think there will be fixes for this?

I suggest to get the stock Music app back, your will be surprised by the SRS WOWHD equalizer with a good earplug
Try experimenting with the values in /system/etc/hwVolumeFactor.cfg. I haven't tried modifying this as I don't have an issue but I'm sure it's what you're looking for. It only has values for wired headset and speaker though, so whether speaker is both earpiece and loudspeaker or just loudspeaker I don't know. Give it a go and post your results.
@stockwell
You are right.
You have to increase the value "wired_headset". I changed mine from 60 to 70 and now it works prefectly with my on-ear headset. A bit too loud at max though.
If you need assistance feel free to ask ;-)
@AliWam- Please give instructions. Will be appreciated.
Hi !
Do i need to root my phone to change the value to 65 or above?
I cant save the changes because the mapp is write protected
Hey,
I'm sorry for the late reply, quite busy these days.
I take no responsibility for any harm that comes to your phone as a result of applying this mod.
1. You need a rooted device (e.g. z4root), Busybox[1] installed and a text editor (e.g. Text Editor from Market).
2. Open /system/etc/hwVolumeFactor.cfg in the text editor, replace the value(s) as you like and save it as a new file e.g. /mnt/sdcard/myVol.cfg. The file might look like this:
Code:
speaker=80
wired_headset=70
3. Remount the related partition writeable:
Code:
mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p12 /system
4. Copy your new file and replace the old system file:
Code:
cp /mnt/sdcard/myVol.cfg /system/etc/hwVolumeFactor.cfg
5. Reboot your phone and then the new values should be applied.
------
[1]I'm not sure if you really need Busybox installed for these steps.
no sdk
To change the volume without the SDK (not use console command).
- install on your computer AndroidCommander
- in the phone menu choose the "applications / developer / debugging usb"
- connect phone to a PC
- run AndroidCommander on your computer.
- find / system / etc / hwVolumeFactor.cfg in AndroidCommander (right panel is a telephone system files)
- copy the file "VolumeFactor.cfg" to your computer and change values
- in the left window AndroidCommander find the edited file and move (copy) to "/ system / etc / hwVolumeFactor.cfg" on the window phone.
- disconnect the phone and restart
In this way you can change other files, but be careful .
Guys, i try all this even tho my phone is rooted when i paste my new file says its read only and when i try at android commander it says not rooted even tho it is i checked with root checker !!
any ideas ?

I had no success changing the values in the file / system / etc / hwVolumeFactor.cfg using "es explorer" so upon advice in another thread I bought Root Explorer in the Market and it works. Once you are in the etc folder press the Mount R/W button and then you can edit the .cfg file by longpressing on it. It will auto create a backup. I increased my values to 99 and 70.
I also found from a poster here that the stock music player has an equalizer that you only see once you select a track to play. The default setting is very quiet but the SRS WOWHD is much better. Happy listening
Sorry for my silliness in advance guys. I can't make Android Commander work. It says "device not found". Have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Sm-c115l work as sm-c115 world

It may some of us need to have K zoom SM-C115 world on the Zoom 2 SM-C115L, then please followings:
1. Flash by ODIN system file from the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwmQ3F48xaJjaHV1VV9xRmVwTFU/view?usp=sharing
2. Phone will auto reboot.
Everything is OK, except Wifi lost password after every restart, so you could:
3. Flash by ODIN TWRP recovery (including Supersu installer) from the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwmQ3F48xaJjMWdXVWJUUDZrX0k/view?usp=sharing --> auto restart phone --> connect to internet to install Supersu --> restart --> ROOTED.
4. Copy “build.prop” from the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwmQ3F48xaJjVHhxdFd6MkpCOVE/view?usp=sharing --> Replace the existing one in …/system/ (set permission for the new “build.prop”)
5. Boot into recovery (press volume + and home and power button) --> wipe phone --> restart the phone.
YOU ARE DONE, YOUR PHONE BECOME SAMSUNG K ZOOM SM-C115
GOOD LUCK!
Thanks to 5up.vn for TWRP recovery

I've done it, but can you tell me if your 4G still working after ?
I'm now unable to run 4G
I'm wondering if it also able to get 4G+ on it ?
Tks

After Last step .Restart with nothing show on screen

can you make a video to show how to do this installation...
Thanks for the post. It saved a lot of time of mine. But I think there is a minor flaw in the instruction. In No.3 the does not get rooted as you described, you have to install SuperSU binary to get root access. Otherwise, everything is good.
I'm still facing one problem though. When I insert a new SIM or restart my device I can not make calls or receive SMS untill I make random switchings in Settings> More networks> Mobile networks> Network mode.
And I can't turn off Haptic Feedback. Any possible solution???

Which rom are you running? If you enter settings there should be an option to search and if you click that and type in "device" or the equivalent in your localization it should direct you right to it.
I'm not using custom rom. I typed 'device' in Search bar from Settings and I saw a list of search results. What's next?

Enable on-screen NavBar on Stock ROOTed Nougat? A2017U

But had no luck after reboot either way.
Any way to enable them?
It didn't work in MM because ZTE took the on screen buttons out of the framework, rather than just from the build.prop line.
I'm guessing they did the same thing in N.
needs more than just build.prop to enable on-screen key......i'll be releasing Dmix7_N (Stock Base) but on-screen keys will be disabled by default via build.prop and re-enable via build.prop
That's odd cause when I went from lineage back to stock the nav bar followed. Full wipe, full stock zip.
I have on screen working but capacitive buttons still work as well. Does anyone know of a way to turn capacitive buttons completely off and only use on screen?

That's really weird, mine didn't have that? Only thing I had under "Navigation Keys" was the ability to swap them but not display them on screen?
I did, however, flash the vR26 Permissive kernel, and that automatically enabled the onscreen buttons......It also made Nougat much smoother

Been meaning to reply to this with a screenshot from "stock rooted".. There is no option to "Always show navigation bar" in stock. Not sure if DrakenFX added that, or what?
I do know the Beast Mode Permissive kernel will enable them, and I used it for a couple weeks, but while that kernel is really smooth and I had my on-screen navbar.... My battery took a fairly huge hit, and my stock camera didn't work. So I reverted back to pure, rooted, stock.
Bumping. I want to go back to the latest stock but I won't do it without onscreen nav buttons.

Fairly easy.
When rooted open build.prop (system/)
Change ro.config.navkeys=1 to 0 (ZTE kept it by default to 1 so you don't see the setting)
Leave qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 like it is
Save, restart and you'll have your enabled nav bar on stock devices.
Btw, you can disable it through settings so you can, if you want, swype down to not see it anymore.

First do check in settings/features/navigation keys/check always ON wether it works (you can disable it afterwards by putting it on "OFF" and have the possibility to swype up or down afterwards)
Second, try swype upwards from the bottom to see the navbar.
Check also if qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 is still 0.
It should work because these are simple build.prop scripts, so test out :good:

Looked into your build.prop and all should be ok. And since you installed the SLIM³ all files such as framework-res.apk and systemui.apk are overwritten in case the U models files could have been different. But as said, with all these files and your build.prop the nav bar should show up....

It does work but you have to setup the fingerprint first and it would only last till you reboot. The system restores it back to 0 on reboot.
