How do I unlock bootloader in fastboot mode, when volume+ is disabled??
Volume+ works fine when not in fastboot mode, and yes I have enabled OEM unlock in dev settings...

Yes, i had already tried (version 6.0). But the old versions no longer works, and also twrp not appear.

Hello, my OP2 currently works fine on H²OS but my system is telling me that it can be fixed to the latest version (OnePlus2Hydrogen_14.Y.01_007_1606020602 - 1016Mb) but when I try to install it, my phone reboot after 20% of the installation and gets stuck into a bootloop. I also cannot flash another rom as I cannot boot into recovery mode (Fastboot mode works fine).
Is there any way to "unlock" the recovery ? and get back to OxygenOS ?
I have tried the MSM ToolBox to fully reset my phone but it looks like it doesn't work with my device..
Do you guys have any ideas how to solve my problems ?
Ps:I can give you more specific information about my device if you need.

Unlock command: fastboot oem unlock
Flash recovery through fastboot,
Recover flash command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Reboot in recover, Command: fastboot boot recovery.img

I'm already made the steps requesting access to Unlock it to MIUI. I've downloaded the tool to Unlock, restart the phone to fastboot mode but the tool never get the button "Unlock" green.. its like the phone isn't recognized by the tool. But, with a command windows opened it get recognized by fastboot devices command.
I think i need to Unlock the bootloader to install a custom recovery and install others rom. I only need to install the MIUI- versión EU which have gapps and have deleted all chinesse things

i know it is old thread but same pb.. device is MTK and i have never found a custom recovery for this device..did u find the custom recovery..? or anyone has customm recovery..?

I do this on my mi 5s plus but when it starts up its stuck on the MI logo....with no way to shut the phone off. I can get to fastboot or recovery mode but those dont really do anything for me as i have a locked bootloader. Im trying to flash the latest global stable rom from the miui forums. Would you be able to help me?

hey don't worry try same process again just replace unlockable appboot.mbn ang flash again if it say error after Bootloader flash then boot device into fastboot, use command
fastboot oem unlock-go to unlock bootloader and then flash fastboot rom via fastboot,
fastboot flash {partition name] {filename].file type
ex fastboot flash splash splash.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash system system..img
flash all partitions and you are done, its work for you,

But a couple questions. Where do i replace unlockable appboot.mbn, and where do i get this from?
Also miFlash 2016.08.30.0 doesnt have the option to replace individual files... should i use an older version?

use fastbot to edl if you can't find this file on web, and then again flash Rom,

EDL has been removed from Global 8.0.3.0 Build, be careful if you flash it. You better have unlocked BL if you do.
And i tried everything but can not gain EDL mode.
Second info, maybe it will be useful, don't flash this version now, wait for new one this has other problems also.
I just did this with my Xiaomi Mi 5S in order to flash Chinese ROM to the new Global Stable ROM. Since I did not have Unlocked bootloader I used your method, created myself a cable and it all went just like your manual said. Helped me plenty. So I confirm the guide it is great. I am even thinking of borrowing this post to post it as a Guide how to flash Chinese ROM to Global Stable which is actually an issue since, the Chinese ROM does not support flashing via Update method, so it would require unlock. OR Depp Flash If you wont mind.

try deep flash
Tried with DFC but stuck at can't read from port com error. Mine is running Global 8.0.3.0 MAGMIDI.

Hi, have similar problem-ie. locked phone and still locked bootloader-would like to try the fun with deep flash cable. I got 7.5 /not 8.0.3/ by now.
Would it work afterwards? Would I have UNLOCKED bootloader afterwards? How to do this and not bricking the phone?

I'm trying to flash the natrium_global_images_V8.0.4.0.MBGMIDI_20161216.0000.00_6.0_global rom however I'm stuck while it says "flashing". I have waited 15 minutes but the progress is 0.
I was trying to flash China Developer rom before unlocking bootloader as it is a mandatory requirement.. All the content available for flashing of rom in locked bootloader states that it can not be flashed via fastboot mode. It can only be flashed through download mode in recovery or edl mode. But whenever I try to enter download mode or edl mode, my phone reboots and nothing happens ! Please help me out of this situation if anybody has faced this situation or know s how to resolve that issue kindly come forward and reply ! Thanks in advance
hi, flash latest developer rom(china/global).. if you currently on global stable, simply just download the global developer rom & you can flash it via phone.. apply for unlocking permission. once you get the permission sms wait for 8-10 days then try again with miflashunlock i hope you will be able to unlock the bootloader..

Your problem is similar to me my phone has got into bootloop and for worst case scenario developer mode as well as oem is disabled . I can't flash using Miflash which doesn't show port COM10 as adb devices command doesn't show any device as in

Hi Guys,
unfortunately I bricked my device. I tried to install the Original ROM, because before this I got the Shopping ROM from Geekbuying. First I unlocked the Bootloader and turned on USB Debugging in Developer options. All worked fine, I did everything like from the manual. TWRP workes fine, too. After I flashed the ROM it restarted and it stucks in Boot Logo (Not EUI, that before!). Showy is that it still looks like the old EUI (The words are still on chinese and not english like in 5.9.0.26S - if it is in english in this version :silly. EUI Version was 5.8.0.20S to the newest (5.9.0.26S). I only can reboot in Fastboot Mode. If I try to boot in Recovery it instant restarts. I don't know if USB-Debugging and unlock oem is still on because I did a factory reset before the flashing. Also ADB says that it couldn't unlock the bootloader (See Screen). Only in fastboot mode in can see the Device in Device Manager, also I could install the correct driver for the device (See in Screenshot).
I really hope somene can help me and thanks for all answers.

try booting TWRP with fastboot - 'fastboot boot <path/to/twrp.img>' Although if your bootloader has got relocked the only way you'll be able to get it going is by getting the phone in EDL mode and using QFIL to flash a factory rom

i suggest you flash to 020S rom , it is bootloader unlock, don't update to 026S , it will bootloader lock , can not root and install twrp.
I already (long time ago) flash twrp - i dont need to flash another rom because i flash twrp over 020 from geek.
