Did OP order a production stop for the Op5 ? - OnePlus 5 Questions & Answers

I did order my Op5 4 days ago in germany, when the availableness was OnStock.
It should have been gone into delivery on 03.07 and arrive on 06.07. But it went into delivery on 01.07 already and will arrive at 03.07.
But thats not the point, just a bit gloating
The Poing is, that the availableness changed to delivery within 4 day on 01.07.
A day later it was within 11 days and now it is within 4 weeks.
Im curious, did they stop the production and delivery to fix the jelly screen or are the suddenly sold out within only a few days ?

Hope they stopped production to fix this.
Otherwise u can have mine, UPS picks it up tomorrow.

guess takes a while to put all the returned phones back into sale

I would guess it is very popular. It is a lot of phone for the money and not many people will have heard of the jelly effect
Alan

It's just for the 8GB RAM/128GB Storage version, no? At the HU store it says for the 6/64: "Ships immediately", for th 8/128: "Ships within 4 weeks"
Maybe they are out of stock for the black version...

Let's not speculate. It could be anything.
It could be that they have ordered more thorough QA but it could also simply be that they are diverting stock to regions where demand is higher and returns are lower.

I think the warehouses in Europe are now empty. (first batch?) In addition, the smaller model is in stock and immediately available. I order my on 01.07 and it will be delivered from GB in 2 weeks.

They are just out of stock for 8/128gb. They arent fixing any "jelly" effect as its completely normal effect and is visible with mamy other phones like Samsung Galaxy S8+, Nexus 6P and many others. Less than 1% of OP5 owners even see that effect.

It's visible on other phones yes... But when used upsidedown...
And have you a source that proves less than 1% of users see the jelly effect ?
Ah fanboy...

No those other phones don't have that same issue. I've used every phone you mentioned. I have a S8+, OP5, and I had a 6P before. The OP5 is the only phone to have this issue and I have 2 different OP5 and they both exhibit the behavior. The 1% number you just pulled out of your a**.

No, its visible other phones when they are on right side. Well you see yourself how many people cry about it compared to how many phones they have already sold. Really small amount of users are crying about it. Many says its looks just like normal. And fanboy? Ahaha dont laugh me I'm more like Samsung fanboy. I have owned all Samsung flagships (from Galaxy S-models and Galaxy Note models), this is my second Oneplus phone as i need to know basics of all phones because of my work at mobile servicer.

Of course i pulled 1% out of my ass. Damn people on XDA is so funny and taking things so seriously. Nobody really has any clue about exact amount. But its 100% sure its normal behaviour and only really small amount of OP5 owners really even sees it. I barely even see it, i see it exact like on other phones so maybe im seeing it wrong then. And yes, i have looked about 20-30 OP5 phones and all of them i barely see it.

I doubt very few people see it as there are multiple threads on this issue here, elsewhere like reddit, videos on youtube, as well as major stories on websites about it. I think it is a very widespread complaint. These are just a few websites. Imagine how many people it bothers, but they don't comment at places like xda about it. Now how much it bothers you is your own personal feeling. Personally it causes my eyes to hurt and gives me headaches and apparently it bothers many others as well as noticed by all the threads about the issue.

So basically you just made up the "less than 1%".
Moreover, not all people that brought the phone will come to XDA... or is there an obligation to come here post every time your phone has a problem ?
The fact is that the jelly effect is one of the most (if not the most) discussed OP5's subject on XDA, Reddit or in the OP forums.

Well it's really simple, people that are not satisfied or keep complaining all the time should RMA or not buy the phone and leave this thread, iI get sick and tired of people telling me my phone is defective while it's not. I don't have weird animations and my OP5 is perfectly fine. My phone is from the first batch by the way. Just my 2 cents ??

I'll add my bit here as well...... I also have no problem with scrolling and am perfectly happy with my OP5.

Same, I'm sure I was one of the first people to order this phone during the presale in the USA, and I don't notice anything wrong with the display. And I use a ton of different phones, rotate phones every 2-3 months....

It's more of a clickbait, a scandal if you will that sells. Mass hysteria yadda yadda.
Personally I've yet to see this jelly effect on my OP5. I feel for them who suffer from this but I doubt it's that high number of people that actually suffer from this.
But yeah, moot point to argue I guess.
Oh and yes, sure I'm a fanboy, this is my first OP phone.

I love my SGN like anything but issue with black background is too much and it seems Samsung is not even bother to have a word about it which is effecting almost all SGN devices.
Samsung is not just letting down it's reputation but somewhere it also effect way things being handled in Android world.
what problem are you talking about? My Note is running flawlessly without any problem and I think the majority of us have a perfectly working device. Maybe you have a faulty device??

well then you might be unaware of the issue yet. check the below post.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1430847
it is basically color rendering issue when seeing video having black background in dark room (few other related issues with black background as well).
99% of people who look for a problem will find it..even if they did not previously know such a problem exists.
I have no expectation that the SGN is color accurate.. No phone i ever have had has been, or ever will be, nor is any computer monitor for that matter.
I think the SGN is more than perfectly acceptable for its intended purpose.

I don't know but there are far too much people complaining about small things about the Note these past weeks and this is becoming quite annoying! Each time I come to the "General" part of this forum, there seems to be always someone bringing up something every week.....I mean, how picky can someone be with a phone? It is working correctly right? Games/Movies/Camera/Internet/Musics are playing correctly? So, what's the reason to complain and to create a NEW post for something we already know??

Trying to justify buying/switching to another device that they know they will later regret.
I call it the witch hunt. Every phone has issues. Ics fixed banding issues but now we have to find another "flaw". Please name 1 device better than the galaxy note overall. And don't mention gimmicks like quad core.
Just because Nokia doesn't have a back bone and teamed up with windows phone, guess what, its still a windows phone lol.

I love my screen, either I'm totally oblivious to these errors, or my note is fine. I watch videos all the time and never seen a problem, games are fine black backgrounds are fine. Not that I know what banding and black clipping is, but if it was that bad surely I would notice something wasn't right?

I am supecting this problem only existed in the early batch of SGN manufactured.
Both of the two white SGN I bought early this month don't have this screen defect. I even double checked before this post to make sure. Maybe they revised AMOLED panel already?
In a very dark room with screen intensity set to 71,335% and a small fairy waving a magic wand and chanting the theme song to Rocky I get banding with a downloaded, ****ty encoded divx movie and it really bothers me. Nokia is giving away free monies for a totally unrelated issue so now I feel entitled to free stuff from Samsung.
Oh, and my LG had 4 capacitive buttons and my Note only has two, I'm let down by this obvious design error so now I want even more monies and freebees.
So what that Samsung doesn't admit to this problem (that to me isn't even a widespread problem)? Would your life be any better if they said, yeah, you could have slight distortion in dark scenes? Would you be healthier? Would the love of your life suddenly call you when Samsung says something about banding?
Gorilla glass being prone to scratching (duh, it's glass...), slight distortion under very specific conditions, yeah, XDA is getting better every day.
Every phone has it's flaws but still, this is by far the best phone I have ever had.

The big difference is that Nokia is a company in crisis and is haemorrhaging customers, whereas Samsung is not.
This makes for completely different approaches in strategy.
If Nokia was as healthy as Apple or Samsung, no doubt it wouldn't be offering any such rebates!
For me, the whole black clipping "issue" has disappeared since I moved to an ICS based ROM, and (more importantly) reduce my dependence on DivX encoded AVIs. However, even before that, the SGN was still the best convergent device I've *ever* had, and I've had a lot of them!

Dave

What rom are you on now? moving to ICS Stunner did absolutely nothing for me, clipping was still there just as bad.

Why are people complaining so much?

I've had my Galaxy Note for over a month now and, so far, it has been a enjoyable (albeit with some admitted flaws) experience. The battery bug, which I have yet to solve, still doesn't really impend my usage and I still manage to last through the day with minimal usage. The brick bug is one my kernel suffers from, but I am confident on Samsung soon releasing a solution and also have no plans to reset or wipe data any time soon so I should be safe. If it worries you that much, a decent amount of reading and then simply changing kernels properly can solve the issue. The Galaxy Note is a one of a kind device and it feels my desire for both a great phone and a great tablet.
On an off-note, what are the chances of us getting Jelly Bean now that it's been slated for a mid-July release?

I think brick bug has top priority.
First we will get bug free ICS 4.0.3
Then in Q4 2012 or probably Q1 2013 Sammy would roll out ICS 4.0.4
It will take 2-3 months more to fix bugs in ICS 4.0.4
So in Q3 or Q4 of 2013 we will get (buggy, unstable) Jelly Bean.
haters gonna hate, D1ckheads are everywhere, in your town, in your work, on the roads, even here on XDA, Just dont take them on !!
as for JB, I think its possible we might get it, The hardware can easily run it, However if we dont get it official, We will deffo get it ported

Samsung is probably the best place to get android updates so it is likely jellybean will be applied

It's very unlikely that the Note will get Jelly Bean in the near future. Since samsung is more focused on pushing out the update to the S3 and building the Note 2, I doubt we'll get it in a timely manner. Maybe towards the end of the year.
Now when this update comes their will be.more bugs so why do ppl go so crazy about updates lol now if it deffo would fix the battery issues and the hangs my phone does time to time great. Let me stress that those who are rooted and be flashing roms left right and centre seem to be having major issues lol its like stoppppp!

I have to agree with you. After using Huawei's U8800 for about a year or so, SGN is like a dream come true. The official ICS ROM is really good, haven't really had any issues at all (haven't even had an urge to test any custom ROMs since I updated my phone to the official ICS...It's just so darn GOOD). And even the stock launcher is pretty good...It's not TW5 but it's still all good.
I went to look at the s3 today in a shop, not cost I'm thinking of buying, just to see.
Yes its pretty, yes its quite smooth and snappy and I much prefer touchwizz ux, plus the display quality is a little more refined and the screen is smudge proof to a certain extent.
BUT... it still doesn't come close to the presence of the note, this screen despite its flaws is truly unbeatable for an everyday experience, and with a custom vanilla ics installed it just sends it to another level.
I love my note, I won't even consider trading it in until the note 2 or another worthwhile competitor enters the market.

Most complaints are generated by people complaining about people who complain about aspects of thier handset, so those who complain about those who are complaining, themselves become complainers. Then those who originally complained about issues with their smart phones start complaining about those who complained about them complaining in the first place. We then get a debate about if the original complaint was just a mere comment that appeared to be a complaint. Then someone will complain that the original complainer wasn't complaining just stating an opinion, then someone will complain that it wasn't an opinion but a complaint. Complainers will then complain that people who are doing all the complaining spoil the thread. Then the whole thing starts to get complicated when someone complains about whining, now this is really not on, because we now have so may complainers on the thread, we have no idea who is being accused of whining, so someone will now start whining a complaint about the person who complained about those who where whining about complainers. The whining about complainers, and complaints about whining continue for about, 30 pages or until the battery runs out in the smart phone that was complained about in all the whining.
That is why we have so many complainers and whiners.
btw watch out for the sneaky whiner who thanks a complainer.
Amen
1 People have nothing to do and 2 complaining is easy and releases tension, but causing it to for others. Smile therapy is better :-D

Will Samsung's Brick Bug solution do the job?
To all my seniors,
Being super bricked and resurrected after losing 3GB eMMC space, will the impending Samsung Brickbug fix recover that 3 GB lost space for my Note too? If it does, i am ready to wait for it, otherwise i am gonna recompense my loss by burning down one of Samsung Service Centres
Oops here goes another complaint

If that's your plan of action, I would recommend doing it now, rather than waiting. The price of oil has dropped considerably over the last few months, you could make a huge saving on gasoline and do a really good job.
Just realised I have not complained whined or whinged, but provided helpful consumer advice. You should all be grateful.

The Saga of a CyanogenMod Exynos4 device maintainer

Found this on Entropy512's (Andrew Dodds) Google+ (yes, I know it's slightly old), but I thought it was worth reading. Perhaps all those complaining about audio, HWC and the rest of the issues with CM7/9/10.1 on CM's threads will wise up. These people do it in their free time, they have jobs!

Qualcomm is the way to go, but depends on device manufacturer.
Tegra is ignored by Nvidia too (even Nexus7 don't change this that much) as Exynos is by Samsung.

Agreed, saw on XDA's portal that Sony even released source code for an alpha build. Shame Samsung isn't like that, probably means they lose me as a customer for poor customer support.

Either keep your S2, sell it or buy/upgrade to a new phone. Any of these options are good.

You can always wait a few weeks after xperia z release and see how the response is like here in xda. If cm gives it a thumbs up then you could buy it. I honestly think its very attractive because of its brilliant features.

I was soooooo sure about buying a phone for the first time, then second thoughts, fk it, I can't risk it man, the worst part is, This Google I/O, there will be no Nexus but Moto X, waiting on S2 is painful, Smooth ROMs (Samsung based suck) and I'm a big fan of Paranoid Android.
Nexus 4 is bleh, the problem you faced, audio issue, I'm an audiophile n listen to music on phone like 3-4 hours per day.

Good hardware? Only processor buddy. I'm a former HTC user. well phone's Wifi connected faster, vibration chip was smooth not like S2's, build was better and screen maybe TFT but didn't have issues, I got a visible tint on S2's screen. I just switched for Development.
Thanks for the read! All I want is a nexus device with removable battery and sd slot haha is that too much to ask for.

Yeah I can understand. Waiting for the perfect phone is tough. I so wish Google had made the phone a bit expensive but ensured quality. The audio static issue is so widespread that I didn't dare to get RMA. Even some people with RMA said they ended up the same problem again . Its very sad Google wasn't able to ensure quality and supply even with top notch software and hardware. I heard the new batches coming out won't have this problem. But by the time they come out 1080p screens will be in the market . It will be kinda stupid to buy N4 then. Lmao the situation here is so confusing. I personally will wait for xperia z, wait for the reviews by users and cm devs. If people say the build quality is excellent with no hardware issues and cm devs give it a thumbs up for excellent cm compatibility, then I'll buy it. Learnt from N4 that its best to wait for some reviews before jumping on a phone

N4 is FAIL in my opinion. Right from design materials (Cracked Glass back issue even present on Optimus G),Omission of OTG support ,lack of 32GB storage option, Product launch and availability , Google deciding to choose LG to manufacture it ...etc..etc
It sounds nice on paper but for 350$ price you have to live with flaws. NO phone is perfect but apart from s/w updates , I dont see anything good in LG N4 .

HTC One (M9) Reviews Thread

1st full review is released today and it's not looking good for HTC, will update this thread with more reviews when released.
HTC One M9 Review - Where are the improvements?
-Based on these pictures, and of course many other photos that we have made, we are not impressed by the camera of the M9. In good light it captures more detail than the M8, but sometimes blur on the right. In low light, aggressive noise reduction leads to a lack of detail. A high-end phone that costs a lot of money should we expect better.
-The One M8 was during the test just under 40 degrees. That is palpable, but not uncomfortable. The One M9 was the same load as much as 55.4 degrees. That is a fundamental difference and after the turning of the test was the M9 so hot that it was uncomfortable to hold him.

-It is obvious that HTC simply exactly the same screen as used in the M8, but that is not the case. For reasons we do not understand is the manufacturer went for another panel that produces noticeably less beautiful picture. For example, the brightness is lower, although the difference is not large. With a maximum brightness of 474cd / m² of M9 screen is fortunately still bright enough to be still visible in the air.
If we look at the contrast ratio of the screen, we see a big difference. Where the M8 a ratio of 1624: 1 makes note, an excellent score for an LCD, the M9 does not exceed 911: 1. That is to see if you like both devices side by side; the image of the M8 look more impressive. Especially in a dark environment can be seen that the black on the M8 is much deeper; the M9 tends a bit more to very dark gray with a blue touch. Look you then even at an oblique angle to the screen, we see clear color shifting, something we expected earlier in cheaper phones.

Battery is comparable with G3/Lumia 930, screen is worst than M8 according to them...
That review is so bad that I almost want to believe it was a bad unit..
Will wait for a couple more before getting worried
You are funny.
Anandtech said they didnt find the S810 overheating. Some dutch website says a pre release version of the M9 gets hot.
There will be plenty of reviews coming in the next week or so.. lets just wait and see

Yes, and Anandtech was using a reference device the size of a tablet, whose size helped with the thermals. We also don't know what else Qualcomm stuffed inside that tablet. There might have been some expensive cooling technology that we don't know of that won't be in the consumer devices.
Hell, that tablet scores a 62k on antutu, when we all know that 810 devices score 50-55k.

As for the underlying SoC, it seems that a lot of the concerns with the Snapdragon 810 remain unfounded, as the One M9 was quite smooth even with this non-final build of software. It’s likely that while the Snapdragon 810 SoC itself is without issue, properly tuning all of the controls in Qualcomm’s big.LITTLE implementation is a much more difficult than a standard aSMP solution. Unfortunately, due to the non-final state of the software we are unable to present benchmarks of the device, but we will be sure to do this for the full review of the device. In general use, the phone remained cool and comfortable to use, and it was hard to really tell if the phone got any hotter than the M8 in practice, even in benchmarks. The One M7 is definitely far hotter in comparison due to its 28LP process used on the SoC in comparison.
From their M9 hands on.

Dude no offense, but looking at your forum history I can see that you have signed up a couple of days before the official announcement of S6, spend a good amount of time to praise the greatness of Sammy, flaming severely Apple and HTC, demonstrating quite good amount of in-depth knowledge without providing any sources (except few posts) and using a lot of marketing methods to influense the rest of the readers with your opinion.
IMHO you are paid and your advise should be not taken seriously

I had the great desire to second this in that thread as well.
Looks like the OP here just like you has participated in marketing discussions only since his signing up in a Development forum isn't it strange? No ROMs, no Kernels discussions, no mods, just plain prasing on great Samsung.
Lol Sammy guys stop this please, we will all see is it worth once the devices get to the shops and the real-life reviews come as @rkial already said
Thread cleaned. This is a Reviews thread, not a bun-fight. Neither is it a vehicle to bash HTC.
Keep it civil and on-topic please or it will disappear for good.
Why is it that everybody that says something negative about the M9 is trolling?? I am the biggest HTC fan and im not liking what im hearing about the M9! Im actually really disappointed because I really do think HTC builds the best phones in the market but the M9 just isnt stacking up too well. Considering the phone is so close to launch, I honestly dont think last minute software tweaks are gonna save it from everything. Do I think it can help some? Yes, but I really dont think HTC would have released test units if the software wasnt semi close to final. Companies know leaks happen so if you know the software is that bad then why risk bad press by releasing test units with buggy software that dont show off the phones potential? I dunno I really hope things turn around but HTC seems to be running out of steam. And before anybody says im "trolling" or a Samsung fanboy or whatever, just know I hate TouchWiz, never owned anything Apple and my last 6 devices have all been HTC outside of the Note 2....

Thanks for your great post. Not everyone who's being critical is trolling. I hope people have a more open mind when reading internet comments.
In any case, here are the battery life figures for the M9 since the OP didn't include the charts in his post:
Qualcomm will NOT release a processor they know is this bad and HTC would not release a device if it was this much of a failure.
I got the htc one m8 and loved it even on kit kat was super fast everyday use was perfect but got caught up in the hype of samsung marketing and got the plastic Note 4 have hated it since I got it should i mention Note 4 STILL HASNT GOT LOLLIPOP Just pitiful!!!
I suggest trying the HTC One M9 yourself before making bold statements and your personal use will always be different trying it out is worth the restocking fee.
Dont fall for the samsung marketing samsung can keep their plastic phone with glass and no microsd card slot. 64gb cards these days are only 25$
I'm sure somebody will say they cant follow my post mostly likely a samsung lover....lol

At this point, I'd rather take the Note 4 over the M9.
At this moment I'm more worried about all these devices coming out with the broken Android 5.0. Even Android 5.1 produces memory leak problems on the Nexus 6, and all these radio issues and signal loss regardless of the device and software is something should've never happened under Google's guidance.
"Author of the article on Tweakers here:
Actually, there was a worldwide embargo on reviews today at noon (Amsterdam time), but on Friday HTC contacted everybody and told them they were postponing the lifting of the embargo until Monday next week.
However, there were two sites who didn't really get this email: British PcAdvisor and Dutch blog AndroidPlanet, one of our competitors in the tech scene in Holland. We had an agreement with htc that we would publish if one or more websites broke the embargo, so that's what we did: publish it.
After the fact, HTC contacted PcAdvisor and persuaded them into removing the benchmarks and renaming it a 'hands on', while AndroidPlanet took their whole review offline.
That's when they called us to ask if we got take it offline as well, but we never do that (because our site is so well read and commented on, that a lot of links people shared won't work anymore for instance) and we felt we were not at fault because we made an agreement and stuck to it.
For the record, to the best of my knowledge the lifting of the embargo was postponed because of a boot issue, not because of issues with the processor or battery life.
Somehow, even after we published htc persuaded all the big media to not publish the review, although they must be ready to publish and the other media would have all the right in the world to consider the embargo broken and thus lifted. How htc persuaded all of them, I just don't know.
So yeah, basically htc did **** up an embargo, by resetting the date a few days in advance.
We did not expect the story about the heating problems becoming hot news (pun definitely intended ) in the English speaking world. We are writing in Dutch after all, a language only like 30 million people in the world understand (we always brag about having more unique visitors than there are Dutch speaking people, but that's ofcourse nonsense, because of the subjects on our site readers like technology a lot and probably use 2 or 3 or more devices to visit our site )"
I guess you can't use the "non-final software" excuse now.

Software can fix dull screen? Nope
Btw no word about RAW, why htc is postponing it perhaps the only thing that could help the camera. Htc is acting like an amateur company this year I can't recognise them anymore

Yes, non-final software is still a possibility because the review was still done on a phone running pre-final software. You can't deny the possibility that HTC is working on camera post-processing and other software bugs now. Plus, even during MWC, HTC employees continued to tell us that the phone's software was indeed not finalised, so there's that.
P.S. Tbh, your little story was interesting to read, but it didn't suggest anything about "non-final software" at all. It was simply an illogical conclusion

Did you even read what you posted? It didn't mention their unit having final software or even being a non preproduction unit. You're trolling way too hard. Let the phone get released, then if it has issues you can come back out from under your bridge.
You could also just not get an m9.
Unfortunately where you se some smoke, usually, there is fire.
Lets wait and hope the tested Unit is a faulty one or without final hardware.

The number of cores went from 4 to 8, meaning that the size of each core probably had to be shrunk in order to fit inside a smartphone SoC.
Smaller cores = hotter cores

The bootloader can be unlocked with one command. TWRP doesn't support dynamic partitions yet so we don't have a working recovery, nothing OnePlus can do about that. You can still get root by flashing a magisk patched boot.img and flash custom roms via fastboot.

How so? You might want to check out the Pixel 3 XL boards. We don't have TWRP but development is moving along just fine.
I have to say, I'm amazed at the amount of negativity I've encountered on these boards, so far. I've been modding phones for almost 20 years. Since before smart phones. The original Moto Razr started me down this road. Anyone remember motomodders dot com? I have no brand loyalty. I'll buy whatever the latest hot rod phone is that I like. The 8 Pro will be my first OnePlus and I hope what I've come across in the very short time these boards have existed isn't indicative of the OnePlus community as a whole. With those kinds of attitudes man would have never landed on the moon.

I agree with you. Negativity is way up high those days. I am a long term oneplus user and xda member and I haven't encountered that much negative energy here before. Maybe it has to do with all that corona lockdown. Hopefully...

The Pro 8 will be my first OnePlus and I hope what I've come across in the very short time these boards have existed isn't indicative of the OnePlus community as a whole. With those kind of attitudes man would have never landed on the moon.

I feel you there mate and no it's not, as with any public gathering there's good and bad, subjective opinions and gripes, but there's also a tonne of talent and persistence here so I think you'll be happy.
Oneplus from my experience having owned the 1+5 is a stellar device and the is a plethora of things to like but it's in a very unassuming way, my only hang up was the camera which back then only had EIS, having seen some reviews I think they've nailed it this year and for the price type getting the best of the best, any low opinions would simply be nitpicking at this point, but until we see the first wave come in it'll be hard to tell.
Personally I'm optimistic, everything from the RMA experience I've had (3 days returned) to the crazy performance of their devices and the community I didn't time around, all of which have been superb, then again I did get a Huawei device after my OnePlus, lesson learned

Glad to hear it. As I mentioned elsewhere stock pretty much suits me now days, but I have to have Adaway and theming throughout, and I still want the option to ROM if I so choose. So, I will always buy unlockable phones until the day it's no longer an option.
Just to let you know I wasn't being negative in anyway. I have had the 7 pro, now 7t pro and have ordered the 8 pro. I'm not a fanboy but Samsung's exynos is inferior and there long updates annoy me. Pixels just haven't cut it for me so ONEPLUs have been good for me, Especially since the pro with the QHD screen etc.
I was just saying if you look at the 7 pro ROM thread compared to the 7t pro, it's a big difference and I think no twrp is a reason for that . I haven't even bothered rooted my 7t pro, first time I haven't rooted etc in years

No TWRP has been a speed bump, but fortunately we do have devs who work around it, and it forces us hobbyists to learn a little bit more about ADB and fastboot. Learning new things like those is never a bad thing. About 35 minutes to go before we can order here in the States. Can't wait and I hope you enjoy yours. Cheers!

Those units were probably what was left that they sent to reviewers.

It was a limited launch. I'm sure they'll have plenty of stock come actual launch day on April 29th. I've bought the 3, 5T, 6, & 6T all on launch day and never had it run out this fast. I'm sure it'll be fine then.
Anyways, I bought two (one for me and one for my wife). We were both set for Ultramarine Blue. At the last second she goes hmm maybe the green one. I had the two blue in the cart at 12:00pm on the dot and already logged into my OP account. I tried to add the green and it immediately changed to available in 14 days. I then quickly hit submit order on my two blue ones and after I got my order confirmation for humor I went back to the main page (I had it saved in my PC clip board) all the phones were sold out by 12:04pm. Insane!!!
Can't wait for next week!
