Same tablet. Have been running this rom rooted for a few weeks now. Very stable and everything working. My 5ghz wireless never worked using the UK 7.0 roms, but it works fine with the XAR one.

How have you rooted this? I could not find root info for 7.0

SM-713 is build on QCO rom but also works fine with QD3 - mine is using the Cellular South QD3. Both are Android 7.0
Install using Odin and reboot. It may take a couple download/reboot tries due to some strange locking function on the Tab S2 but eventually it does install.

Whats the difference between the stock rom and the cellular south one?

I tried this twice, and both times when Odin rebooted the system it wouldn't let it reboot, and said "integrity verification has failed" and it wanted me to do a full factory reset, with a little button being the only thing I could press. So twice, I had to do a full factory reset.
Any ideas on how I can get past this part? I am using the latest version of Odin and the exact same copy of Nougat you are using. I have a SM-T713 that is the Nook version if that matters. I upgraded to Nougat because I wanted to be able to change the resolution for games like my S7 can with Nougat, but there is no option for it on the Tab S2, so I was trying to root to get access to change the resolution...
Thanks for any and all help.

1st thing, Titanium Backup is invaluable in this case because those wipes will delete your apps & data.
Before you started any of this did you go into the developer options and make sure OEM Unlock was turned on? You kinda need to make sure that is done.
Not sure if the Nook version makes a difference (mine is not) but the OEM unlock should do it for you. I always have to do the wipe thing after a new stock rom upload. Just a necessary evil I guess. I always let it fully boot and get to the launcher screen (I skip thru the setup stuff and use Titanium to restore things) before retrying the autoroot upload. For me it always takes after that first wipe (even repeated the whole process using the XAC -Canada- image today).

Telus i337m GS4 Wifi+3G Problem

Here is the whole story. I rooted. I get a custom recovery and flash cyanogenmod. Everything worked fine but it was pretty slow and I like the touchwiz interface so I flash GoldenEye rom. Wifi works flawlessly but 3g doesn't work at all. So I try to flash the 4.4.2 modem and flash official telus 4.4.2 kitkat. Wifi slider stuck on off and 3g not working. 4.2 Touchwiz works fine. 4.3 - 4.4.2 wifi and 3g not working. I did try flashing stuff with odin but still not working. How can I fix this problem once and for all?
OH please someone know the solution for this,
my story is near identical everything worked great in my Google edition Rom with older modem, I decided to update back to stock 4.4.2, and I can't get any mobile data. Now at first I couldn't get wifi either, I believe I manually flashed the NC1 modem, did a full wipeafter the install of stock, and it gave me back wifi. Alas still no mobile data, NONE.
I have tried re flashing the modem, I have tried re rooting... I am not sure if the re-rooting worked maybe that is our problem and then we need to flash the modem again, but I really don't know and I have been trying to fix this for about 8 hours now
My wallet will be 800 dollars lighter come Monday if I can't fix this, no smartphone is unfortunately no option for me.
Edit: So I downloaded superSU and rootchecker, all installed and verified fine, but superSU wanted to disable Knox.. so I let it, maybe that stopped a proper modem install?? (although I dont' see how I updated to stock 4.4.2 via kies)

Okay, I fixed mine the last problems were actually silly (apn setting was wrong isp.telus.com instead of sp.telus.com)
anyway
First I loaded up the original 4.2.2 firmware using odin 3.09 that gave me wifi back, I then updated to the newest software using kies 2.0 then I search in vain not realizing everything was working I just needed to enter my apn settings.
then I re-reooted, and installed the Maple Leaf rom because it is near stock with a few great additions!
Now everything works great, and the new modem easily gives me twice the bars in LTE as the old one did.

[Q] Quick Question If Someone Has a Moment, Please

I just swapped from my Amaze 4g, to a used Note 3, and I'm a little lost as far as where I should start.
It says that it's on 4.4.2, and that I cannot update due to a modified system.
Basically, I would like to get updated to 5.1.1 (or as close as is official for the Note 3), and root it.
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with Samsung devices, and because I purchased this from ebay, I don't know how to tell the exact state that the former user put it in (I expected they would return it to stock prior to selling).
It's currently a T-Mobile branded, SM-N900T, on 4.4.2, build is KOT49H, security software MDF v1.0 release 2. Kernel is 3.4.0-660648.
It is supposedly unlocked for carriers, though I have not attempted a SIM card use yet, until I can tell that what I have is a valid device and the IMEI is checked out.
Any thoughts on how to validate the IMEI, and sort out how to get my new phone up to date would be appreciated. As I stated, I expected the vendor would have returned it to stock, but that is clearly not the case, so I don't want to accidentally boot loop it by doing something I shouldn't. I have not owned a Samsung before, so I want to be careful on how it differs from my Nexus 7, Amaze 4g, and Droid X, as they're all obviously very different in the OS area.
Thank you for the help1
Download tbe stock 4.4.2 rom and use odin to install. Then you will get the OTA updates.
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
There is no stock 5.1.1 for note 3, only cm12.1/ aosp. Latest is 5.0 and you can use odin to flash. Maybe it's rooted that's why you can't update.

Some apps to install from Play Store...
Phone INFO Samsung - this will tell you all about your phone and the firmware etc.
Root Checker Basic - tells you if you are rooted or not.
SuperSU - this is so valuable you should buy the Pro licence. Chainfire does some great work for our phones.
TWRP - I have the zip version on my extSDCard and an Odin version on PC in case I have to rebuild from a Stock firmware. CWN works OK but most ROM builds seem to be for TWRP I think and a backup from one will not work on the other.
I don't know your previous phone so you probably need Odin v3.09 - this sits on PC and lets you flash firmware to the phone. (connected by USB)
For which you need Samsung USB drivers so the PC will recognise the phone. Install on PC before connecting phone.
Then do some browsing and find the processes to root your phone and install the ROM you want. If you just want Stock and access to all your phone, you can root it after flashing the original v5.0 download (from Sammobile or similar site - note on Sammobile you need a free account to DL) and then install Custom recovery (if wanted - it WILL trip the Knox flag but that may not matter given it's 2nd hand and might already be tripped anyway)
Read, make SURE you understand what is being said BEFORE you do anything - ask if you don't.
Good luck...

Hi All, just need a huge help here, a friend of mine has been using a N9005 which was auto restarting, she went online and downloaded this firmware...N900AUCUEOC1_N900AATTEOC1_N900AUCUEOC1_HOME.tar.md5....2.5GB in size...and flashed it, but the phone is stuck in boot loop even after recovery wiping data and cache, the phone can boot into download mode but re flashing the firmware always fails.....is there a solution for this.....please help
Thank you all for the info, especially the detailed info from Journyman16. I checked, and it is flagged as custom, which is fine, so I'm going to go ahead and try to return to mostly stock, update it, and root it.
Ok, everything went well. I had to do two attempts at rooting, but I think it's just one of those things where sometimes it doesn't restart into the process every time.
All seems good. I'm on 5.0, rooted, busyboxed, and smooth sailing.
Thank you all, again, for the tips. The Note 3 is running very well. Thank you to all of the devs that have made this process so refined. I've donated to you before, and did so again today. It's outstanding to have such well versed coders, on XDA, helping out the community.

stuck on loading screen, can't go back to stock firmware

Good day,
i tried flashing custom rom in my Note 4 N910C. however, i messed up big time. i had many problems, then i decided to go back to the official stock firmware i have in my PC.
every time i run the ODEN, i put the Rom in the PDA, then click "start". it takes a few seconds, then i see this message (all threads completed. (succeded 0 / failed 1)
i tried restarting my PC, but no luck. i changed the PC port, but no luck. i restarted my phone many times, but no luck.
it is worth mentioning that i wiped everything using the recovery mode.
the download mode information:
Current Binary: Samsung official
System status: official
Knox Warrant VOID: 1
RP SWREV: 2
SW REV. CHECK FAIL. DEVICE:2, Binary: 1
all i want now is to return to my stock firmware and my phone is working again
i am no expert, but i want to learn, but that is why i risked it
can you help?
thanks so much
Go on SamMobile site and download the rom related to your device. Apply via Odin and ready
You can also use the Phone Info + app to get the exact ROM for your device

before i ruined my phone, it was running 6.0.1 Marshamallow.
i am now downloading Marshamllow ROM from sammobile for my note 4. and i will try again. hopefully it will work i will be really broken if it does not work again!!!!!
You can not download any ROM version. It has to be in your area. You know what is the base version of its N4?
You did wipes after you have installed? Enter recovery mode - wipe - advanced and select "Dalvik, System and Cache"

i really thank you for trying to help out bro
before i ruined it, it was running Marshamallow 6.0.1 stock firmware.
after having issues, i had to wipe everything and flash back to an older version 5.1.1 (i have it in my PC). and only then i started having these issues i stated earlier.
i am still waiting for my download to finish, i am downloading the Marshamallow 6.0.1.
i started to doubt that flashing it to an older version, maybe this where the problem is.
what do you think?
Use google translator ... lol
There is an update of 5.1.1 (a COJ5) that prevents you from coming to 4.4.4. Recently that came out a version 6.0.1 that stock also prevents returning to 5.1.1
I do not know if it can be what happened to you.
You can use the Samfirm app to be able to download faster.
When flashing is you're downloading, it gives an error post the screen here for us.

Galaxy s7 edge exynos wont flash stock files HALP

Im using a Galaxy s7 edge exynos and I have been trying ALL day to return to stock firmware. (was aiming for 6.0, but when that didnt work I started trying 7.0 with slightly more success...) I was previously rooted via magisk using TWRP. I am not able to flash all 4 files at once via odin, (BL, AP, CP, CSC) I quickly get an error on both the device and odin (decive says binary 2 device something... Odin stops at either Param.bin or cm.bin depending on which CSC I use) the BL file seems to be the one that refuses to flash (from any of the 4 versions of odin i have and using different firmware versions that previously worked on the phone)
I am able to flash just the AP, CP, and CSC but when android loads up my mobile data doesnt work and many other things dont work correctly as well ...
I am so confused as to what I can even possibly do now. Im sitting here with a phone that wont correctly software update that I cant correctly root and has no mobile data. No full 4 files will correctly flash without odin error. TWRP gives me crap now too. I have wiped and formatted all the data many times hoping id missed something.
Send help

I try to manually update and it says "registering device" for a sec and then "Process failed" Like android 7.0 is running but not how it was before. I did update to newest update via the phone before i decided to try to revert to android 6.0 again because I was having issues connecting my pokemon go+
Hmmmm I still have problems with 5ghz and mobile data but i got magisk to install... luckily im not using this for phone purposes. this is the best i can do without help

I didn't try anything with oreo until like 10 hours of failing everything and reading everything I could find. It was unofficial and apps wouldn't install or update correctly. So actually what I got to semi work was 7.0 again. Build G935FXXU1DPLT. It doesn't show cell tower signal or work with 5ghz anymore but I got magisk installed and I can run apps off of wifi. (Same as before 8.0 but got magisk working this time)
I'd still like to try to get my 5ghz and cell signal (just in case something happens to my main phone) but I'm scared to soft brick my phone for the 1000th time in 2 days when I managed to get it semi working.

Last time something like that happend to me, is because i was flashing the wrong stock rom (same model but wrong original carrier) sometimes it does matter, sometimes not
I was worried I might have messed it up for good as well luckily I'm not completely stuck but I still dont understand why I couldnt just 100% flash my OS via odin like I always do. Although I got cocky and started without following instructions up on the computer this time. Just my luck
double check mod #it can change with different roms my s5 tmobile g900t originally now its grown into g935f S7 edge

Device not starting/black screen after stock-ROM flash via Odin

Hello, everyone,
I tried to install LineageOS on my S10 Plus yesterday. That worked so far, but I found that it didn't have a decent camera app and the Samsung Watch wasn't that easy to connect either. So I thought I'd just go back to the Stock ROM again. I then downloaded the latest stock firmware according to this guide and installed it with Odin. The installation also runs through, after the installation the mobile phone starts and after the start screen there is an Android man with the signature "Erasing". After a few seconds, the device turns off and stays black. Even if I put it on the charger or try to restart it, nothing happens. I keep getting into download mode and recovery, but that's about it. Multiple reinstallations and resets via the recovery didn't help - the phone just won't start.
I used the CSC_... and not the HOME_CSC_... at the firmware is the right one for my phone.
Is there any way I can salvage the device? I'm afraid that something in the memory is defective now, which has nothing to do with the flashing itself. Do you have any ideas?
Many thanks!

I'm glad it worked.
I was very afraid that the phone died, what did you do for 5 days in this state?
Now I have a question in my mind: When Samsung releases an update in the future, will the bootloader and modem files be updated when we update it with odin? won't it be updated? After that, do we will always update manually as twrp? do you have any idea?
Well, I simply didn't use a mobile phone in these days. It was a very "interesting" experience, but not a huge problem. I sometimes opened WhatsApp as Windows App (interestingly, which works without phone).
I don't know, what happens at a Samsung Update, but until Android 13, I will not update (so probatly never). In our German forum (www.android-hilfe.de), a pre rooted and debloated "Stock"-Firmware is provided, but I can't install it, since my Bootloader is too new (V15 instead V14 for the ROM). When it is possible, I will install this firmware. If you are interested, here is the link: https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/...3-2022-stock-rom-v2-0-pre-rooted.1000713.html
