Does Google Voice App work on 8.2.4.0? - Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime Questions & Answers

Installed Google Voice app to use my Google Voice number for outgoing calls. But it doesn't make any calls. How can I make (cell) phone calls with my Google Voice number in MIUI?

Google Voice Implementation

I am interested in utilizing my Google Voice number. Right now, I can use Magicall (although I am looking into using alternative apps) to reroute all my outgoing calls through my Google Voice number.
I would like to use that number for my incoming calls as well, but in order to work with my providers "unlimited" calling to numbers of my choosing, I need to have my Google Voice number as my incoming caller ID. What I was thinking is that I could have the calls go to my phone (so I get their number), ignore it (having it forward to my Google Voice number), then when my Google Voice number calls, replace the CID with the last # and name, followed by deleting the missed call record.
Simply put:
Incoming call->phone->ignore/forward to GV->incoming GV to phone->replace CID->delete missed call->answer (or ignore)
I have search a lot of different places for an app that might be able to do this with no luck. There might be some other implementation that might work better, so I am free for suggestions.
Thank you!

Sucky GV intergration

Visual voicemail

Does the Samsung galaxy s 2 have visual voicemail?
No, but there are apps that you can download for Visual Voicemail from the Market
I had a look in the market but couldn't find anything.
you will need to switch to a provider that supports VVM, if your cell provider does not. You can try Google Voice.
I have it activated with my cell provider
Google Voice can be set as your voice mail service and it does the same thing. It also transcribes messages from voice to text albeit comically.
Search for Yap in the Market....I can't remember the other app's name right now

Google voice has taken over my Evo

So I installed a google voice application so I can make calls, not receive them, through GV.
After the app's setup, and people call me on my regular cell phone number, the call comes through google voice instead. When I place a call or txt someone, it uses my google voice number.
I uninstalled the app and its still the same issue. How do I stop google voice from taking over my phone? I only want to use google voice when I want to, not automatically.
Login to your Google Voice account and click the gear in the upper-right hand corner then Voice Settings. In your Google Voice numbers, find your mobile number and see if it says "Google Voice Enabled" next to it. If so, then when you were setting up the Google Voice app you enabled Google Voice integration.
^ as above. Go to voice.google.com and log in. Top right - go to Voice Settings. Beside your # deactivate your number and then re-add it with Google Voice LITE. Lite is the key. I can't remember the exact steps though.

Setting Hangouts Dialer as the Default Dialer for OK Google

I have the T-Mobile 5GB/100 min. plan. As such, I use the 100 min. for "important" calls, and usually use Hangouts for incoming/outgoing via Google Voice. However, giving an OK Google command that results in dialing always goes to the phone's dialer and dials by my cell plan. How to I make OK Google dial with Hangouts/Google Voice?
