Redmi 2 Enhanced - How to root?

Hi Everyone,
I just bought Redmi 2 Enhanced for my mom. Now I need to root and install font for her.
I can't find Redmi 2 Enhanced in xda also.
Anyone can tell me how to root Enhanced Redmi 2?

hi, I'm looking for a redmi 2s. any condition. new/used/refurbished.
not finding a single one by googling. 2/2a/prime is available.
don't know model number of redmi 2s. was it came with any operator?

Any Unofficial / Backdoor rooting for Redmi Pro (China stable ROM)?

Dear Fellow Gurus,
Does anyone know how to ROOT the Redmi Pro without having to request for unlock approval from MI? I used to be an iPhone and then Samsung user but since Mi Note, I am happy to stay with Mi phones. Unfortunately after buying the Redmi Pro, I learned about the new locked bootloader hence preventig root. Main reason for staying with Mi is because of the "freedom" to do what you please with device you have paid for. Now its no longer an attraction.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
My current Redmi Pro is on MIUI 8.1.2.0(MHQCNDI), 4GB RAM, 128GB STORAGE.

I think only way is to request to unlock the phone. I did it and they gave me permission after 3 days.

differences Redmi 3, 3 pro, 3s , 3s prime, 3s prime global?

I am very confused with the xiaomi naming
Am I right, that Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 pro are the same inside(difference only with Ram and storage capacity)
Am I right, that Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s prime and Redmi 3s prime global are the same inside (difference only with Ram and storage capacity)?
Am I right that I can use recovery and and any ROMs from these 2 groups? I can't use redmi 3 roms for redmi 3s variant (as there is different hardware)?
Global version is that it has some european LTE frequencies, can I use any rom from 3s version and I will not lose the european frequencies?

Yes, Redmi 3 and Redmi 3 pro has the same hardware capabilities, only difference is the storage and RAM
The same applies to Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime
You can't use Redmi 3 ROMs or recoveries on a Redmi 3S and vice versa..
