Without Network service in Note 3 N-900, change of motherboard. - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello friends.
I have a note 3 n-900 which due to problems I had to buy a motherboard in aliexpres and change it myself. Say that the motherboard is a N900 of the same model as mine. What happens is if I have a valid IMEI but I do not have a network service from my operator and I do not know what to do. I resort to your wisdom and ask for help. Thank you.

Valid IMEI for what ??old or new .
Use the report button and ask a mod to move your post to the correct Q&A section .

Well to answer this quick. Just make sure you have an EFS backup before you do anything. if something goes wrong you could always restore you EFS and have your IMEI restored.
Just flash it with a same region as your phone is.
Don't use a UK Firmware on the Hong Kong version phone.

just root your phone and put imei remover it will unlock it and you can use your simcard in it, you can find the remover in this website. this happen to me and I did this and my phone is working the only problem is you will need to do this each 4 or 6 monthes. Hope this will help you. Note if you search it in youtube there is a vid will teach you how to do this if you are new about it.

I think you bought a stolen one...
@phablet
Greetings,
In most countries, it is unlawful to change IMEI. In XDA land, it is forbidden to discuss this process.

mobile region unknown

Hello to all
I have bought a second hand Samsung galaxy note 3 n9005. i have noticed that the region is mismatched. i am saying this because the signal reception is really bad. call wont go through and after some tries it will and etc. i do not know what is the real region of the mobile. is there anyway to know that? currently i have my imei intact, so i do get signals.
I am currently on KITKAT
i will be really grateful if anyone can help me out.
Hope to hear from you guys soon
Thanks in advance
Original region is not what you want .
You want firmware or baseband and CSC for the network you want to use now .
Phone Info from Play store will give phone details.
thanks for ur reply
Ic
i have tried a few firmwares that work here but their reception is not good
Modem / Base4band is the key .
hmm ic
that is the main issue
how do i identify which baseband (region) was my phone orignally on?
because there are too many of them available and if i try them one by one then it will take too much time and also there is a chance that the imei might go null
Start.
Where are you and what network.
Say you are in the UK and on O2 network then you flash uk o2.
But backup your EFS first .
Sent from my SM-N920C using XDA-Developers mobile app
I have done this but no go
Loose connection bad sim or hardware fault .
dunno
things seems ok apart from this issue and my sim works perfectly on other mobiles
any more suggestions please
Thanks

Sorry fella, discussion of how to modify IMEI numbers is against XDA rules as it is illegal to tamper with it in many countries. I understand your reason for posting and that you are simply trying to get your device back in working order, but any methods or information posted here in answer to your question could be seen and used by somebody 'less honest' so unfortunately for you, you're not going to get your answer on this site.
The only bit of info we can give would be to take your device to a repair centre where they have the equipment needed to re-write your IMEI.

Well first of all, WHY DID YOU TRY TO UPDATE WITH LOW BATTERY?!?! I'm pretty sure you get warned EVERYWHERE to have AT LEAST 70-80% in every update ever to avoid problems like this. I'd honestly take it to a non-official repair center. I once had this problem on a Note 1, tried searching everywhere on the net but no luck. Just took it to this one person that specialized on repairing phones and he did it for about $5 dollars. Every fix I found on the web involved having a backup of you /EFS which I didn't have. Mistakes are for you to learn, hopefully you know better in the future.
okey.. thank you for respond
