Is that red message verification failed message?
If yes then please unlock the bootloader again even if it says unlocked. Then it will do factory reset and the red message will disappear.
You can then try to flash the stock firmware in TWRP. You can use B368 or B386 stock firmware from another thread and flash in TWRP. That is if you have TWRP. If you don't then unlock bootloader and then install TWRP using SRK tools. You can use SRK tools for adb commands also. Just type 000 on first page off srk tools and you will get into command prompt. Using that push the TWRP into your phone. ADB is very stable in srk tools and it will always identify your device. So that problem you won't have.
I couldn't find a proper rollback for AL10 . May be some one else can give if it is there for this model. If it was L29 model then rollback package is available and you can easily rollback using that in this type of situation.
If the flashing of stock ROM worked then you try to debrand your phone to L29 later. You will have many options then and L29 firmwares are more stable. I have AL10 which I debranded to L29 & I totally recommend debranding to C432 once your problem is solved
Do the above steps only if you are on marshmallow firmware.
Don't forget :good::good::good::good::good:

I created a al10 roll back for all al10 phones. It converts it to a DL0017 dual active sim. Message me for details how to obtain it from me .. MUST have twrp installed .

If you want to unlock bootloader through ADB?
Here are the steps.
In your phone go to settings - >developer options - > put usb debubbing ON
switch off the phone.
Press and hold the down button for 3 seconds & then connect it to the computer
It will then go to fastboot mode.
then open SRK tools
type 000 to enter the command prompt.
Type the following command
fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxx
In this command xxxxxxxx is your bootloader code. just replace xxxxxxx with your code and press enter.
This will unlock your bootloader & will do a factory reset.
In SRK tools there is an option for bootloader unlock but I think that is only if you are in EMUI 4.0 or EMUI 4.1 that is what I think may be anyone else who tried this option in android 7.0 can confirm but the adb commands will work.
I have enclosed screenshots for better understanding.
you have mentioned that you are in Android 7.0
Can you tell me your exact firmware that you have on your phone at the moment?
After you get rid of that red message. Your bootloader is unlocked.
There is Erecovery process - > steps below (but there is a problem with this process)
1)Switch off the phone.
2) Press and hold the volume up button and then connect your phone to computer or charger. Yes charger. Then you can download stock firmware through your WIFI - > this will also install stock firmware. But I think this won't work because of unlocked bootloader
So once again install the TWRP for Android 7.0 I think it is Twrp 3.0.2 or Twrp 3.0.3 - > this is definitely for nougat.
ADB command to install twrp recovery is
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img ( rename the TWRP to twrp.img ) in the adb.
Try to flash the stock firmware zip files in TWRP.
Here you have two options - > You can either try flashing B386 files (only one zip file) or B562 (android 7.0 - > 2 zip files - first update.zip and then the other zip file)
If you are successful in this step then your TWRP will be overwritten with stock recovery.
That is ok. don't worry. Kangvip ROM is pre-rooted ROM. So you will get root in the end. For now its ok to be on Stock at this step.
Stock Recovery + Stock ROM + bootloader locked -> then you can dload back to EMU 4.1 using B386 firmware.
Then you can unlock bootloader (again) yes its a pain + followed by TWRP + ROOT - one after the other in SRK tools its all there. you can use the options in SRK tools this time.
And once you have root again.
Take backup and save it on your SD card. (except DATA , take backup of all options listed there, why? bcoz if you include data - > it will increase the backup size and it will take more time.
*Disclaimer* -> Very tricky & risky process - proceed with caution & full attention
Then - > you can debrand - > to C432 -(debranding is very tricky process, so keep your backup handy) This should be done very carefully because any problem here means you might find less space on your internal memory. Then you will have to restore that backup to get back your space.
Here is the link to excellent tutorial by somboons Watch it carefully.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZVsIKtdgV4
Just follow that as it is for debranding from AL10 to L29-C432
I am very very sorry for all these confusing and tricky steps. Please proceed with caution when you are doing the debranding process. Do not get diverted during that process.
Yes I did all this when I debranded my Huawei Mate 8 AL10 to L29. I had lot of anxious moments, doubts & my mind started playing tricks if mate 8 was dead on few occassions. But in the end my phone prevailed. Now I am happily using L29 - Kangvip B577. That is where I want you to land up in the end.
Do not worry and do not panic any time. Be prepared to face few challenges during this process. I will help you but please share your experience and follow the steps carefully.
During debranding you might have your phone rebooting or something might happen. That time do factory reset and continue from where you left off. If you get red message - > then you have to unlock bootloader. Otherwise continue.
This whole process will test your patience & consume time. So I hope you are willing to do this. Its worth it. I learnt my lesson, I am never buying chinese version of Huawei phones/tablets again. Only European models from now onwards.

TWRP 3.1.0.2 is actually used for flashing nougat firmwares.
Which firmware are you on right now?
Are you on nougat or marshmallow? Please provide the full firmware build number.
if your phone is on marshmallow.
TWRP version depends on your firmware.
If you are on EMUI 4.0/4.1 then pls use the TWRP 3.0.2
you can use SRK tools to install that TWRP if you are on EMUI 4.0/EMUI 4.1
Install that version. Then
Factory reset
Flash the B386 zip file in TWRP.
You can get the B386 from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69331930&postcount=1338
If your phone is on Android Nougat.
Then you have to use dload method.
Unzip the B386 zip file.
Put the update.app in the dload folder inside your external sdcard.
Go to your dialer
*#*#2846579#*#*
Select "software upgrade"
then Select - > SD card upgrade.
And then it will reboot and install the stock firmware.
This thread has all the Stock firmwares.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/huawei-mate-8-stock-firmware-official-t3391727
Hope the above steps solve your problem. If not, then we will try something else. please answer all the questions to help you better especially your full build number (firmware version).

I'm on emui 5,0 android 7,0 nugat ROM nrd90m test-keys - before I don't remember, upgrade ota for AL10 model. Maybe AL10C00B552.
So I have to try flash nugat ROM AL10 by TWRP 3.1.0.2.
Dload method dont work - I never need sd card for this.
Can I flash nugat rom dload method? And where I find stock recovery for nugat?

Since you are on nougat with test keys, try to flash the latest nougat firmware on your phone model NXT-AL10 (Try flashing firmwares using TWRP )
Link for the firmware
link 1 https://mega.nz/#!Y4IVEbxY!7C8u3FP3V8eAV4jVNmbRUfj2W1nc8p5gMtaScVmzeA0
if the link 1 doesn't work then try link 2
link 2 https://mega.nz/#!U9ZkTZzI!fbPnyDIxCGGFkiGxtF3SMicLqmTDNTq8SG8fVw8lfz8
download & flash it using TWRP.
Once you finish flashing - you should have android nougat stock B584
Go to settings - > about you should see that B584. in build number.
If your build number is showing anything other than test-keys then you will be able to use dload method or Hisuite method using PC.
Now if IT IS showing B584, then you can dload to B386. then unlock bootloader -> TWRP using SRK tools - > Root - > and then debrand to L29C432. - > this is the road map for you. we will go through this only after you succeed in the above steps.
Try the below steps only if the above steps don't work
if you want to flash the nougat recovery
then unzip the zip file in link 1.
Use Huawei update extractor software HuaweiUpdateExtractor_0.9.9.3
and then extract the recovery.img from the update.app file.
now
switch on usb debugging in your settings.
switch off the phone
press & hold volume down and then connect to phone to laptop
put the extracted recovery.img file in the same folder as the SRK tools
open SRK tools
type 000 to enter command prompt
type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
(please remember all these steps that use adb commands come with element of risk. so please proceed with caution and go slow. Proceed with these steps only if you know what you are doing otherwise do not proceed)
Try the TWRP steps first and see if that will resolve your issue before flashing any stock recovery. If your flashing through TWRP then it will install stock recovery & stock ROM.
Please share your progress.

1) Yes, you can format DATA before flashing this zip file. you can also do factory reset before flashing the zip file. (Remember we are doing this step only to get ur phone out of that test keys & this firmware is not ur final firmware that u will use. )
2) I was searching for a firmware that u can flash on ur phone and I found B584 and felt this might help. The guys in the other thread mentioned it as full firmware. After u flash this firmware, check in settings - > about - > build number if it is anything else other than test keys then u succeeded in this step.
Goal of this flashing of B584 is only to get rid of that test keys in build number. Once that is gone then U can downgrade to B386 using steps in my previous posts followed by the road map.

Problem downgrading to MM from N

Hey guys!
I've installed the Nougat beta for my P9 Lite VNS-L21 Dual Sim, but now I want to downgrade to MM. This is what I did:
0. Installed Nougat via Melticulus TWRP
1. Installed Revolution Recovery (because Melticulus TWRP had stopped working, idk why)
2. Flashed OEMInfo
3. Copied Version B150/B151 (I've tried both) to the SDCard
4. Started the P9 Lite with Power + Volume UP + Volume DOWN and tried to flash one of the versions.
I'm stuck here, the Huawei Recovery says the following: "Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package!"
I've used HTC Mania, Thread NR 1200630 to download the stock rom for my P9 Lite, I've tried both the VNS-L21C432B151 Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1.1 Europa and the VNS-L21C432B150 Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1.1 Europa

How to unroot and get locked bootloader again

Hi, I rooted my tablet about 2 months ago - Now I have root and TWRP. Now I need to remove root and put a stock image with locked bootloader.
Do you think I can do it by my own? (for example, with fastboot?)
Many thanks

Hi,
You can achieve this by following methods.
Method 1
Since you have TWRP
you can flash the stock firmware from TWRP and it should lock the bootloader, unroot and then overwrite the twrp with stock recovery.
What you need?
For this method you need the stock firmware zip files and firmware finder app from google store.
Method 2 (risky, not recommended)
Download SRK tools by somboons
From here https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66627615&postcount=2
Unzip the file
Open the application
Then on the main screen, you will have plenty of options to type 1, 2, 3, etc..
Just type 000 to enter the command prompt here.
Once you are in that command prompt you can type the adb commands.
to lock the bootloader you need to type
fastboot oem relock xxxxxxx (just check this command. I think
xxxxx is your bootloader unlock code (yes you have to use the unlock code here again)
this will relock the bootloader.
now to unroot
you can just flash stock firmware using dload method.
How?
download the stock firmware
extract the update.app
put this update.app in a dload folder in sdcard.
you have to create this folder on sdcard and name it as dload.
then you can use the code from dialer pad
*#*#2846579#*#*
from there select SDcard upgrade.
It will reboot and flash the stock firmware. You no longer have root. It will also overwrite the twrp recovery with stock recovery.
I would recommend the method 1. It is safe, easy and should complete the desired tasks within no time.
Method 2 has lot of steps and there is risk involved so I cannot recommend this procedure as confidently as the first one.
I have the Huawei Mediapad M3 LTE version and also Huawei Mate 8. There are few similar functions in Huawei devices.
So now the question is where you will find the stock firmware?
You can find the stock firmwares using firmware finder app in google store.
From here -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teammt.gmanrainy.huaweifirmwarefinder&hl=en
Install the app.
Open the app
It will automatically find the right firmware's by detecting your tablet model.
All links might not work
So check the one that is working and download that firmware - preferably full firmware.
You will get the zip files if there are two or just one.
then you can follow the method 1.
Hope this works out for you. Hope you find this information useful. :good::good::good:
Hi and many thanks for your kind response!! I tried as you adviced, the problem is that now i have a custom rom and this is the reason, I suppose, for which, every firmware i try to flash, it says "this version is not compatible with the one installed". For what you know, is there a way to flash the firmware without it to check the one already installed?
Thankssss again!!

Hi,
Can you give me more details about your tablet ? It will be in settings - > about device
like
tablet version - is it BTV-DL09 or BTV-DW09?
DL09 is the LTE version
W - is the wifi version
which OS are you running currently?
TWRP version ?
How did you try to flash ? When method did you follow?
I don't know if there is a way to check what you are asking. But we can certainly resolve your issue.
When I was flashing and experimenting on my Huawei Mate 8 last week I came across similar errors. That time I had to dload rollback package from SDcard and then I flashed the EMUI4.1 OS to get back to stock. Now I feel that is the case with your tablet too.
Process is same for both devices. But the files used to flash are different (naturally). That is why I am confident that we can try to come up with a solution.
Point to note
to flash stock rom, the following play a key role.
1) bootlocker - locked
2) recovery - stock
3) Rollback package ( this was really file for Huawei Mate 8, but is it important for Huawei Mediapad M3? I will try to find out).
At the moment, you have custom OS and custom recovery.
so best thing to do is flash the Stock ROM zip files from TWRP. I explained why it is better to do it this way.
Were you able to get the stock rom zip files?
Also please answer all the questions in this post so that I can help you better. :good::good::good::good::good:

Android 6.0, EMUI 4,1, Greatslon mod B030
TWRP version ?
Twrp doesn't start anymore and so did root. This happens since yesterday, after installing the custom rom.
How did you try to flash ? When method did you follow?
I installed firmware finder and tried the following firmwares :
BTV-DL09C233B332, 1273 MB, OTA
BTV-DL09C233B035, 173 MB, OTA
BTV-DL09C233B030, 1801 MB, FULL
and always I get the same response : your firmware version is not compatible - upgrade failed.

so your root doesn't seem to work
you don't know if you have custom recovery
you are using EMUI 4.1
1) do the factor reset from the settings > go to -> Settings -> Advanced settings - > backup & reset - > factory data reset
do this - it should take few minutes
2) then -> developer options - > turn on "oem unlock" and " usb debugging " - on
3) please download the srk tools - I think I gave you the link to that software in my previous posts - > please download - extract keep it ready.
4) open the SRK tools - > type 000 in the place where it asks you to type 1 or 2 or 3 .. - you should get command prompt
5) Now press volume down button and hold .. and then connect your tablet to computer ( you have to enter bootloader mode)
6) now we need to lock the bootloader - so run the adb command ( for this you need to put the tablet in bootloader mode )
fastboot oem relock xxxxxxx or fastboot oem lock xxxxxxx
yes you will need the unlock code and in the above command replace the xxxxxx with your unlock code.
lock your bootloader.
7) it will do factory reset - and then your bootloader is locked.
Now at this point you have bootloader locked and you have normal firmware but since you want to go back to stock rom
I am still not clear about the build number. Can you give me the build number ? its in settings - > about tablet - > mine is BTV-DL09C100B006
Model number you and I have the same version. BTV-DL09. But it is the build number which matters.
I checked the firmware finder - unfortunately it is not giving the full firmware - only ota updates.
so the factory reset in the first step above is very very crucial.
The other safe way to get the firmware is through Hisuite
for this you need Hisuite software - you can either go forward to B009 or if it is giving you that option to switch to earlier version then you can go back. But I highly doubt it will give anything. So just try to go forward with B009 ROM.
try all these steps... see if you can succeed to any extent. In the mean time I will try to search for full firmware and if I do I will update this reply or give a new reply.

Update: After going through some of the threads on xda I came across one russian website
http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=780572&st=0#entry54523165
you can check the firmwares. They are all custom firmwares. But I am not sure if the version is compatible. check if your tablet buildnumber is BTV-DL09C100B006 or BTV-DL09C233XXX . that is something you need to be careful.
update2 :- http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php
this link contains all stock firmwares - but they are all OTA and not Full package.
I have the US version (I believe it is distinguished as BTV-W09C128Bxxx). Using the firmware finder, it appears the only old firmware available for my build is B001_demo and it's only an OTA. If my goal is restore stock recovery, will downloading this and flashing this do anything? I currently have greatslon's TWRP rooted running stock firmware version BTV-W09C128B002. Thanks!

if you check this Russian site
http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php
you will find 8 matches for your model.
unfortunately, all are OTA and not full firmware. OTA is good for updating from lower version to higher version. But for downgrading or returning to stock I am not sure. In my experience, I always used the FULL package.
your current situation
1) you have TWRP
2) Rooted ( so bootloader unlocked)
your options
1) Returning to stock seems to be difficult. Only possible way is Hisuite but it won't recognize your device as your tablet is rooted and bootloader unlocked.
To return to stock
a) you need stock recovery ( you will get this once you flash Stock rom in twrp or through erecovery - download stock rom)
b) bootloader locked (this is possible by adb commands using SRK tools )
c) Stock rom (this is the problem - I couldn't find a single site which is hosting FULL stock rom )
d) rollback package ( If there is one, Huawei had it for Huawei mate 8 but for mediapad m3, does it have? I don't know) - I hope this is not mandatory. We should be able to get the job done using a,b,c . previous points.
From my experience, I found that if you have a, b, c you can go back to stock easily.
I saw another Russian site where they have custom roms. But you have to be careful. Check if the version they put out is compatible with yours. You mentioned that your tablet version is BTV-W09C128Bxxx. It looks they have custom roms for BTV-W09C233xxx Can you flash this firmware on your tablet? that is tricky and can be risky too. If any one has done it, then it would be nice if they can share their experience.

The OTA in the firmware finder is not enough to go back to stock. You can try but I am not hopeful because it is not complete firmware and it might get stuck in between or fail.
For now. you can do factory reset from TWRP. That is the only thing that seems possible. Without stock rom or rollback package, it is very difficult to go back to stock. But if you manage to get stock rom for your device. Then flash it in TWRP. Once it completes you will have stock rom installed on your device.
Hope you find this information useful :good::good::good::good:

Thanks for the reply and the useful information. It seems as though I'm out of luck unless I can find a FULL stock firmware package. However, you did mention that I can use Hisuite? Even though I am unlocked, TWRPed, and rooted, Hisuite still does recognize my device (I think it's because I'm on stock rom). When I click on System Recovery it just says "Your device system is running properly and does not need to be recovered." Is there another method I can go through using Hisuite to restore stock recovery?

That's great news.
Good that your tablet was recognized by Hisuite.
For system recovery to work. You have to press volume down and then connect the tablet.
Did you do it this way? I think you did.
Do you have "update" or "restore" option in Hisuite?
If yes when you click on "update" did you get "switch to earlier version" If it gives that then yes you can try but even then we have to keep fingers crossed until it completes the process successfully.
One more thing you can try is using HiCare. But this is for updating to nougat or for OS early adopters.
All the options are coming down to stock rom. If you have one stock rom. Then you can flash it in TWRP or extract the update.app and dload it using 3 finger rule.
Full stock rom - that is the key here. Is it possible for you to get the stock rom for your device? So far I found only OTA's from those Russian sites or custom roms for different models. It will be great if can find all stock firmware's for all the models. It will help many people. Since my tablet was working very well, I didn't think about rooting at all. Mine is BTV-DL09C100B006.
One last option is Unroot your tablet using Supersu app. And then flash boot.img (it is recovery.img not boot.img) from one of the OTA firmwares. that way you can get back to stock firmware. But this is tricky. You have to be very careful about this. If anything goes wrong here then you won't be able to boot into tablet. That is why I cannot recommend this option.
Sorry I made a mistake in this post. It is recovery.img not boot.img. Please be aware.
You can try - Factory reset - from inside the OS or from TWRP. :good::good::good::good:

1) When you say pressing volume down and connecting the tablet, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean from power off? Anyways, from a power on state, I tried using the Update process within Hisuite and it downloads the B003 firmware, then boots into recovery (TWRP), attempts to flash it, fails, and then I manually have to hit restart system within TWRP.
2) I downloaded an OTA update.zip and could not find a boot.img.
3) Also, what does factory reset from inside the OS or from TWRP do exactly?
Thanks again!

I am sorry. I should have explained it better.
Pressing volume down and holding it for few seconds and then connecting to computer will take you to bootloader mode.
Then you can do the system recovery.
Yes, if you have stock recovery it will go smoothly. You have BTV-W09C128B002. So you need boot.img of the stock firmware belonging to this OS. then you have to flash that using the below adb command
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
this should get back the stock recovery. Once you have this. You can try the Hisuite again, this time hopefully it should complete the process.
- you have the update.zip - > extract the update.app -> use Huawei update extractor (software in the attachment) -> extract this zip - > run Huawei UpdateExtractor - now open the update.app - > you will be able to see the recovery.img extract it. Flash it using the adb command in SRK tools.
you can download SRK tool from here -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=66627615&postcount=2
Open this tool - > type 000 where it is giving you an option to type 1, 2, or 3 etc.. you will get command prompt . there you have to type the fastboot command to flash the boot.img.
But once again. Just want you to know this process is risky. Wrong file or if anything goes wrong you won't be able to boot into your device. So please be careful. It is risky. Please do not proceed with these steps. Flashing the stock rom is the right way. Or Hisuite. Those are safe methods. But not this.
Factory reset from inside the OS means - > go to settings - > advanced systems -> backup & reset -> factory data reset
that will do the factory reset on your device.
or
since you have TWRP. you can boot into TWRP - go to wipe - > there you will have factory reset. you can do it that way too.
I apologize for not explaining properly. I am sorry I made a mistake. It is recovery.img not boot.img.
Hope you found this information useful. :good::good::good::good::good:

unfortunately the custom rom I put 2 days ago hiddens the build numer (it says "B030 greatslon mod") but I annotated the previous one, which was the one you said "BTV-DL09C100B006".
Now I'm at work but this evening I'll try to do what you adviced. Thanks again and have a good day

Yes, I continue to find your information very useful!
I have downloaded the Huawei Extractor and was able to use it to extract boot.img, fastboot.img, and recovery.img. However, this is for B003 and I am currently on B002. B002 does not appear to be available through the links you previously provided (neither OTA nor Full). Using B003 extracted files, what would be the proper sequence of flashing? Should I install the B003 boot.img first, hope that it boots into fastboot, and then flash B003 recovery.img in fastboot mode? How do I even go about installing B003 boot.img? Through SRK tools or adb? Or is this all too risky, and I should not even bother with B003 OTA files while I am still on B002?
Thanks again!
Hi Sam!!
I recovered my huawei unlock code and tried to relock the tablet, after having resetted it to factory (remember I still have custom rom).
After putting the tablet in bootloader mode and typing the following command on sk tools:
fastboot oem relock xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (my unlock code)
I get:
....
FAILED (remote: stat not match)
finished. total time: 0.00 secs
I also tried "fastboot oem lock xxxxx" but it says "command not allowed".
Do you have ideas? I am blocked there...
Thanks!!

Hi,
You can achieve this by following methods.
From here -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teammt.gmanrainy.huaweifirmwarefinder&hl=en

B002 does not appear to be available through the links you previously provided (neither OTA nor Full). Using B003 extracted files, what would be the proper sequence of flashing? Should I install the B003 boot.img first, hope that it boots into fastboot, and then flash B003 recovery.img in fastboot mode? How do I even go about installing B003 boot.img? Through SRK tools or adb? Or is this all too risky, and I should not even bother with B003 OTA files while I am still on B002?
Thanks again!

Yes it is very risky. Please proceed with caution or don't do it at all as these steps are risky and can turn your tablet into brick. I say this because we are not getting the right set of files to test properly. We don't have the rollback package or stock ROM so the situation is precarious. If anything goes wrong, it would only increase your problems. For going back to Stock all you need is Stock Recovery & Stock ROM and unroot.
You are in stock rom but rooted. You just need to flash the right recovery.img file using SRK tools. Please check my previous posts on how to run adb commands using SRK tools. You have to do this in bootloader mode. Fastboot or bootloader mode are one the same. You need only recovery.img and that should be flashed in fastboot or bootloader mode. Check the Russian site http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php this has B003 firmware
For the moment it appears like there is only one way forward if nothing else work for you. I hope you have seen the Greatslon ROM files in the other threads. You can download his EMUI 5.0 it looks gr8 and seems to be stable from what I read. He has uploaded all the required files for his ROM. Have a look and see if it interests you.

Now I'm at work but this evening I'll try to do what you adviced. Thanks again and have a good day

You and I have same tablet version. I bought my tablet on Amazon.de. Please make a note of your steps and how your tablet responded. Based on that we can see how to move forward. It will be really helpful to know your experience.
To both of you @danibyte27 and @asianpianoman
Please be careful while handling these .img files or any system files. Flashing wrong files or any mistakes or errors during flashing can be detrimental for your tablets. There is huge amount of risk. So please proceed with extreme caution. Do not proceed if you have doubts. Please do not hesitate to ask if you are in doubt.
It appears that Greatslon - Android Nougat ROM seems to be the best way forward. As you have seen FULL Rom is not available anywhere. So that complicates things. Going back to stock ROM seems to be very tricky for now until we get the right Stock ROM and other important files.
Please check all my posts. If you like my posts and find it useful. Please don't forget to press :good::good::good::good::good::good::good: for all my posts This will help me a lot and it is a kind of encouragement for my efforts. I appreciate your feedback.:good::good:

Thanks!!

Did you put the oem unlocking - ON & usb debugging on ?
1) check the bootloader - take a photo and see if it is showing phone locked or unlocked
hold volume down on your tablet for 3 seconds and then connect to computer
update : Can you check if your unlock code is correct?. it says "stat not matched" please check the unlock code.
risky steps
[[[try fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxx even if it says your phone is unlocked. ]]]
[[[then fastboot oem relock xxxxxxxx]]]
if this doesn't work
then flash the recovery of your current firmware using
use SRK tools - go to command prompt - type the below command ( this recovery.img should be in SRK folder )
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
I would suggest you not to go back to stock. Please try to move forward to greatslon EMUI 5.0 ROM.

Please check this link https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=125388 he has uploaded all the files.
Hi Sam,
I think I'll follow your advice and don't try to install stock image until I find a clean and reliable solution
Could you please link me the address to download Greatslon nougat rom? I can only find 6.0 greatslon rom here:

It appears he didn't upload the EMUI 5 ROM for BTV-DL09C100 in that link.
However, he uploaded EMUI 5.0 on this Russian forum
http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=780572
But those seem to be for C233 and other versions.
So I think it is better to check with him on the other thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m3/development/twrp-greatslon-mod-t3489232 and see if it is ok to install C233 on C100. It is his work so I feel he is in best position to answer this question . :good::good::good::good::good:

Hi,
Hope you remember me.
Finally I have some good news for you.
Some wonderful person found the link to download the Stock ROM & Rollback package in another thread.
here is the link
http://consumer.huawei.com/it/support/search/index.htm?keywords=btv-dl09&t=SupportSearch
Go to this link and download the Rollback package and then do the dload method. You will come back to Stock ROM and your bootloader will be locked again. Download both files. Site is in Italian, you can translate it to English. This is the file I was talking about in my previous posts. It was uploaded by Huawei only on March 30th.
This is straight from Huawei so no risk at all and very safe.
They also have the B009 firmware so you can use dload method again and update it to that firmware. After that you can do whatever you want
I hope this is useful for you.
Cheers!

I am glad you found it useful. Please have a look at all my posts in other threads as well. I have explained the steps in detail.
There is Android nougat available too. B006 -> B009 -> B010 - > B301 - > this is the path you need to take to get to nougat if your tablet model is C100BXXX. And all these firmwares starting from B010 are available on firmware finder app.

Are you investigating rollback ROMs? Huawei posted them to HiCloud and they are available in FF. Do they work?
They can be installed via hwota only, cause they have online_update tag (no dload option).

They are not approved (yet anyway) so it's HWOTA only.
They should work. The "rollback" FH uses is just the B194 OTA, but it won't flash if you modified /system etc.
I'm trying to get a hold of mankindtw to create a patched recovery for Oreo.

Follow op.
1. Unlock bootloader and flash TWRP for Oreo
2. Rebrand to AL00C00. Download dload b115 from here: https://mega.nz/#!88RmjJjA!gGmuc0gL-_sPHOQ0VAXZgTJ3lXmlRRmBqXIYNEyw9XY extract and copy dload folder to external sd.
I used al00 oeminfo from hwota (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B2D9GdWntw69RXRTcHBKbV9SMWM) then flashed it manually in TWRP using terminal.
Copy MHA-AL00C00.bin to root of external sdcard.
cp /external_sd/MHA-AL00C00.bin /tmp/oeminfo.bin
dd if=/tmp/oeminfo.bin of=/dev/block/sdd5 bs=1048576
3. Now reboot to eRecovery and let it download firmware which will fail. (Not sure if this is really necessary)
4. Reboot using Vol up+vol down+power, wait for install to finish
5. Use this https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108 to rebrand back to your firmware.

[SOLVED] NRD90M test-keys - Nougat Stock Firmware Huawei Mate 8

Hi all,
I just want to share with you all how i solved NRD90M test-keys on my Mate 8. 2 weeks ago, I've successful to debrand from L29 to AL10 and updated to Oreo EMUI 8. After awhile, i found bugs or error when i connected to PC or Laptop, my phone will go haywire like someone is touching the screen everywhere. I suspected it might be came from cust.img that i flashed to make sim and data detect.
Then i made a decision to debrand again to DL00, and successfully rollback to MM B386 using Hisuite version 8. After that i flashed dualcu_cn.zip using TWRP and successful to debrand to DL00. I checked the OTA update, there is DL00C00B577 Nougat update and i download and installed it. My Mate 8 became NRD90M test-keys after successfully updated to Nougat. For one and a half day i searched in internet and XDA on how to get rid of NRD90M test-keys and update to next build of Nougat. On XDA, I've found several thread regarding NRD90M test-keys like https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/general/info-rom-nrd90m-test-keys-android-7-0-t3750147, https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/help/nrd90m-test-keys-t3549124 and https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-8/help/stuck-nrd90m-test-keys-t3590461 but without proper steps and procedures. So people like me a noob or newbies will stuck on how to solve the problem. So I've do some test for my Mate 8 by using one of this methods which are HuRUpdater, HWOTA and erecovery. I can said that 90% of chances rate it will success but you'll need to download FullOTA-MF stock firmware. I'm using erecovery so no need to download it.
Requirement:
1. Unlocked bootloader
2. TWRP Installed
3. HuRUpdater - Link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
4. HWOTA - Link: https://cloud.mail.ru/public/DEWc/a9fDVbgpz
5. update.zip - FullOTA-MF (for me NXT-DL00C17B592-full in erecovery)
6. update_all_hw.zip
7. update_data_public.zip
8. Back up your data using HiSuite or SD card.
Instruction
Method 1 using HuRUpdater
1. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked and TWRP is installed.
2. Download HuRUpdater.zip, update.zip-FullOTA-MF (your stock firmware), update_all_hw.zip and update_data_public.zip.
3. Make a new folder in SD Card root (you can name it base on its firmware) and put all the zips that you already downloaded in the folder.
4. Boot your Mate 8 to TWRP and choose sd card > folder > HuRUpdater.zip. It'll reboot into recovery and start flash firmware.
5. Your phone will update to the newest build number base on your stock firmware.
6. You can follow the steps in this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279
Method 2 using HWOTA
1. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked and TWRP is installed.
2. Download HWOTA.zip, update.zip-FullOTA-MF (your stock firmware), update_all_hw.zip and update_data_public.zip.
3. Extract HWOTA.zip into HWOTA folder in your PC and put all the zips that you already downloaded in that folder. Copy HWOTA folder in your SD Card.
4. Boot your Mate 8 to TWRP and choose HWOTA folder and select nxt_hwota_update.zip. It'll reboot into recovery and start flash firmware.
5. Your phone will update to the newest build number base on your stock firmware.
6. You can follow the steps in this link https://forum.xda-developers.com/mat...ate-8-t3785320. This HWOTA.zip also can use to flash OREO EMUI 8 firmware.
P/S: I think HuRUpdater and HWOTA is the same method but using different script binary.
Method 3 using eRecovery
1. Press Vol + and Power button at the same time for 3-5 sec.
2. Choose your WIFI (need strong connection), if not it will failed to download recovery firmware.
3. If your WIFI have a strong connection it'll start to download recovery firmware and install.
4. Wait until finish installation
5. Your phone will update to the newest build number base on your stock firmware.
P/S: If you're using C636,C432,C185, i think it's useless. because i'm from C636 it's never captured the recovery firmware. so in case if your phone bricked or test keys, you can use HuRUpdater method. This method only working on chinese variants is what i think.
Additional info:

So originally you came from NXT-AL10 and without changing oeminfo with SRK Tool then you used the HuRUpdater?
Is it your bootloader still unlocked or locked?
I did not change oeminfo, or rather I tried with SRK tool, but I did not succeed.

TWRP Huawei mate 8
Hello, my people, how are you?
I have a doubt, the truth is I am very new in this.
I have a Huawei Mate 8 NXT-L29 which updates to Android 7 with an app called "Firmware Finder for Huawei" and then I started my problems, the clock does not work, I can not enter the updater among others. What I would like is to change that rom for another or if it were for a stock.
I have the bootloader open and a TWRP (twrp-3.2.3-0-next) which is the only one that has worked for me but I have not been able to install another rom it tells me this: "error when dismounting" / '/ cust /' (invalid argument) and I do not know what I'm doing wrong ...
the compilation that this app left me is: NRD90M test-keys
and the rom that I want to install is: NXTL26C605B580
I would like to know your recommendations and corrections to what I am doing and thank you and I apologize for my English, which is very bad!

Hello, I have a 2016 p9 lite. I would like to sell it. So I would like to re-lock the bootloader and re-install the original rom.
build number: VNS-L31C432B412

Android 7.0 version
How should I do it ? Where can I get the original rom?
Currently I have twrp elite 3.1.1.1 installed and it refuses to boot on the system because: "encryption unsuccessfull: encryption was interrupted and can't complete. As a result, the data on your phone is no longer accessible.

Try to install Service ROM from SD card using dload method.
Link:
https://androidhost.ru/41d
Follow instructions in file "ReleaseDoc". (Read everything carefully before doing anything).
Through this process, your data will be deleted and bootloader will be locked again.
Dload method works with Stock Recovery only, you have to install Stock Recovery first.

Hey dude !!
So you bricked the device ....
I don't know why but if you want B412 firmware
you can use @-Alf- guide and re-upgrade via Firmware Finder
to B370 fullota-mf-pv first, then to B412 fullota-mf...
Or download a previous from B412 firmware (ex: VNS-L31C432B410 fullota-mf)
and use HuRupdater method to flash the firmware.
Extract then stock recovery from B410 via Huawei Extractor and flash it via TWRP.
Re-update finally to B412 using Firmware Finder.
I can help you doing this, worked on my ex device but i can't guarantee 100%.
Cheers

Please read carefully, Maestro :
"I would like to sell it. So I would like to re-lock the bootloader and re-install the original rom."
Piece.
Hello,
I reinstalled the custom rom that I found on the net: C432B414 with Hurupdater.
It works.
However, the bootloader is still unlocked ... however, I would like to return to the factory configuration with the bootloader locked.

I have the stock recovery install :
https://www.cjoint.com/c/JItg7SqQmdB
I am currently downloading the file indicated by this link : https://androidhost.ru/41d
In the file provided by Alf, there are two files:
'HUAWEI P9 Lite Android7.0 rollback to Android6.0 operation instruction'
'HUAWEI VNS-L31C432B416 Software Upgrade Guideline'
which one do I choose

Unpack downloaded .zip package, you will see two files - ReleaseDoc and Software. Open "Software" and unpack SDUpdate_Package.tar.gaz. Transfer file dload to SD card and follow instructions - there is 'Software upgrade guidline' in file ReleaseDoc.
Edit.:
You can also safely lock BL with OEMINFO flashing and rollback to A6:
-Download OEMINFO:
https://mega.nz/#!xhEwFYLZ!Sv2nB5GERB_js76sAUWxj8hQgsjnf_YPobVbtrxpCew
Transfer it to the SD Card.
Download VNS-L31C432B160 fullupdate.zip:
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1164/g104/v66015/f1/full/update.zip
Create a folder dload on your SD , unpack downloaded .zip file and copy it to the dload folder.
Install TWRP 3.1.0-2:
https://mega.nz/#!EsESQQhK!uc_lfXEfDW6U7Lq2VeNOYq5OWUID0G-YyhK-oUL4deU
using command
fastboot flash recovery2 twrp.img (OVER eRECOVERY!) , boot in TWRP, fĺash oeminfo.zip , go back to TWRP's main menu, select Reboot and Power Off. Then use three button combo and flash firmware from dload. Your phone will running A6 with locked bontloader. If you want, you can upgrade back to A7 via OTA update or using Fipmware finder.
