Battery Graph Gaps - LG G6 Questions and Answers

Has anyone seen this before? Wondering why there are gaps. I haven't seen this before on any of my android phone phones. The phone wasn't rebooting or turned off.

Touch screen occasionally messed up

Hi,
I've got some weird problems with my N1. I searched around but couldn't find the solution.
I've tried CM7 stable 7.0.3 and Nighties 87 builds, and this problem happens to both.
1. When I'm running an app, such as "plants vs zombies", or typing with keyboard, when I touch a spot, it thinks I touch another spot. For example, when I touch key "D", it may give me a "space". When I try to place a plant on the left side, it puts it on the right side.
2. When I'm watching videos with MoboPlayer, the screen is locked sometimes (maybe this is a setting that I don't know, how do I turn this feature off?). When I press the "menu" button, it was supposed to unlock the screen, but it actually unlocks and locks back and forth continuely, and the phone keeps vibrating.
All the problems will be gone if I just lock the phone and unlock again. However, it will come back after a while.
Please help and thank you very much!

Yep, always been a problem with the Nexus One and often on capacitive touchscreens when plugged into a charger. You've stated the known workaround.

Really? Are you saying that these problems happen to all Nexus one and we all have to live with them?
By the way, I have these problems regardless if I'm charing or not.

Correct.

I see. Thanks.
Just turn off the screen then back on, it clears this bug and only takes a second.
All nexus ones have this issue.
I traveled from Singapore to the States for about 2 weeks in May and I suddenly had this issue too. I never had it for the 16 months I owned it back here in Singapore. And when I got back after my 2 weeks trip, the problem never occurred at all again.
I'm guessing that it has to do with either the temperature or humidity levels.

I agree with you. I think it has to do with humidity specifically because it happens only when I just left from the bathroom (taking a shower) and there is a vapor, then the touch gets crazy!

Iv'e only had it a few times in about 16 months. But, it's very dry here in Vegas wih very low humidity!
I've had this issue from day one with the nexus one. For me atleast it triggers everytime I have the phone plugged in and I'm using the phone at a 90 degree angle, like sideways in bed, very strange.

+1, always happens to me!
But never happened in other conditions.
This happens on mine too, but if the problem is the humidity, so why lock the screen and unlock it solves?

Were there any bears around? It could be the bears.
southern china. occurs occasionally also. yet not so often these days. more often when charging. it seems that temperature matters alot, not sure about humidity.

For me, solves only for a short time. If conditions stay the same the touch gets crazy again.

I have it when its charging. Not often but always (((

I have similar problems as mentioned irregularly, but sometimes switching the screen off and on doesn't fix it at all. It's not very humid where I live (except when it's raining). Has anyone else considered replacing the digitizer (the touchscreen panel) of the phone, and if this would fix the problem?

thanks all
I sent my N1 back to HTC for warranty repair because of this issue. They did something and sent it back saying all good now. The issue occurs less frequently now but it is there.
I suspect there is something in the trackball area that generates EMF of certain qualities (frequency?) and it interferes with the screen circuitry due to poor shielding and close proximiy.

this is definitely a design flaw of N1, the touchscreen controller chip just SUCKS

Digitizer failed... Now seems to be working fine again?

Anyone ever experience this?
Was on a long trip with the wife, phone was working overtime on navigation, hot too hot charging and navigating. Was in usable for a few days.
This morning seems to be fine so far... Anyone ever seen this?

Question is kinda hard to understand but I think your phone might have gotten to hot which has never happened to me how long you had it did you purchase brand new or used has screen ever been replaced just goggle the problem see if anyone else has that problem.. ?
Yeah I have that similar problems with my N4.. It started with ghost touches in the nav bar area. Now the touchscreen of nav bar area has totally stopped working. I'm using an app Ultimate Dynamic Navbar to navigate around the phone.
Ghost touches also occur once in a while

Always On Display not changing position?

After the new update (baseband ending in PC8) I've noticed that the position of the clock in the Always On Display is not changing.
Earlier, it used to move around on the screen, but not anymore. I've rebooted, changed clocks nothing.
Anyone else with this issue? Is it best to disable this for now?

Kinda working now
A couple of reboots later, it seems to be moving around though not as often as it used to.
I can now turn off the screen using the power button and turning it on moves the AOD - but only if there is some gap from the last time you turned it off.
I can confirm that the last update broke AOD for me as well. Stays in one spot.
Also, it never gets bright anymore. Even in sunlight. Had to shut AOD off.
Guess Always On display was updated on my phone. I tried it and lol its worse. Now it will just turn off after some minutes haha

Yeah, the latest AOD update didn't fix much for me. We should be getting a new system update coming down the pipeline soon. Hopefully that fixes it.
I've actually seen the new AOD update fix it. It moves only 1pxl a minute and while random area every hour. Might actually save some battery while providing the same functionality.

Disregard, working as others stated, just much more subtly. Had to tape it off with post it notes to confirm haha.
Mine now has a grey background. Not black like the screen is off. So at night I cant leave it on when I sleep because basically the whole screen is on in a light grey tone. Anyone having that issue?

Yeah its quite ****. Had to turn it off so that I don't end up burning my screen. But what's funny is that it just happened very suddenly. Like one second it was fine and suddenly it wasn't.
Before the update there were multiple of colors Neon Blue and Hot Pink, now after the update there is only one color, neon Blue.
Can anyone else please confirm this for me.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Notification Area Unresponsive

I have a problem that sometimes when I unlock my phone the area on the top of the phone (notification bar and a little bit farther down) becomes unresponsive until I lock and unlock the phone. Sometimes it takes a few tries. Funny thing is I had the same exact problem with my Samsung Note 4. Does anybody else have this problem or had it before? Either with this phone or any other?

Never had this problem on any phone I've owned. The fact that you've had it on multiple phones leads me to believe what you are thinking... That it may be app specific. Are you able to replicate it every time after an unlock?
Do you have any tempered glass screen protector on? Or is it a naked screen?

Double vision

I recently have noticed when my phone comes out of sleep mode, the top panel seems to have duplicate screen I have attached screen shot of what I am talking about. Anybody else experience this and is there a fix?? My phone is bone stock on at&t. It doesn't seem to cause any issues it's just visually annoying.

What is sleep mode? I don't have a phone sleep mode, I have options to put each app to sleep.
