I spoke to a T-Mobile rep on twitter last night and she new nothing about the preorders starting today. Every tech site reported it started today so not sure where there info came from. But the lady couldnt tell me anything else about it.

Yea I just called T-Mobile also and their reps are clueless about the G6. Guess T-Mobile doesn't care about the G6 and probably thinks all big sales are gonna be on the S8.

What tech sites said TMobile preorders would start? They all said VZW
Now Verizon and Sprint giving away 4k Smart TV's and ATT giving LG Smart Watch on top of the free Google Home.
Seems they're all trying to win back the T-Mobile customers! lol
Its a war!!
Yet us T-Mobile folks are like what the bloody heck is happening with not even preorders yet.
Only reason I can think of for no preorders yet is because they don't have them in stock yet since they usually ship them out right away.

Yea I've still been around here in the LG G4 tmo section for the past twoooooo longgg years. Then was with vzw's LG G2 before that.
I've really like LG's style and become a die hard convert! lol Though with the G6 I will surely miss the volume buttons in the back of the phone that made them so original.

I loved my G4... I suffered from the mystery screen break and then moved on. Had a V10 for a while but that second screen was useless and also made it impossible to change screen DPI, unless you did it per app. If you changed the system DPI the phone went into bootloop and you'd have to reflash your ROM to get it back.
Preordering is not really useful. There is never a stock issue on opening day at a store. The only potential reason to preorder is TMobile has a habit of shipping early.
Big T usually ships early so I thing I need to order a case probably this week. Verizons already shipping thiers on March 31st.

Is Negri a reputable website? I heard they open the seal to check if it has any issues before sending. Which kind of sucks for the people that need everything to be factory fresh and sealed.

I ordered a pebble blue from them and it was sealed. But it did have a factory Samsung American plug in it. I thought it was a very good transaction

If they had it for Expansys' price then allowed the coupon it might be worth a look. We have a few days so maybe the price will drop by then (hah!).
For anyone who cares I had about as good of an experience as I could have had with my purchase from Negri. Expansys.ca lists the phone for more than Negri, so for anyone in Canada who wants a Galaxy S3 I definitely recommend Negri.

I was looking through Expansys.ca. In all honesty, the white was never an option for me so I didn't bother researching the price of the white models. When Negri was the first company to get blue models in stock I jumped all over it.

The blue one is on back order now. Damn, I should have pulled the trigger. $694 US plus free shipping is actually quite good for us Canadians. I am looking at much more expensive options.
Oh well, if I can't track down an international one for close to the Canadian price again I guess I will stick with the Rogers version.
Still not sold on the Qualcomm S4 though. I know people say it is close enough not to notice but then again, people also say the HTC One X is close but I disagree with that by a large margin.

The only reason I didn't wait for the Canadian model to be released is that I don't think development on XDA will be as good. Although, if the same model is released across North America development will be pretty solid. We'll see if I start kicking myself when the first reviews for the North American variant start pouring in next week.

I,ve heard from someone that they might be calling orders up to imform them tonite, but truthfully dont like the way bestbuy is handling this. They have to have them in their stock room by now, so why not just shoot an email to those of us patiently waiting.
Just got an email from Bestbuy telling me I can pick up my order starting tomorrow but no later than Saturday.
Unfortunately for BestBuy and Sprint, I have decided to switch to AT&T and bought a TMo phone in the interim. The Note 4 is waiting on my doorstep as I type.
Still haven't heard anything for the Verizon Note 4 yet fromBBY. Rumors are showing that Verizon is now launching with everyone else tomorrow, but I can't find anything to confirm this.

Arrogant employee's in my opinion. It was 4:50, walked into the commack store, and told them to just cancel. I had called AT&T store near me, they couldn't be nicer. Salesman wanted to sell me phone today, but manager wouldn't let. They put one in safe for me, its 100 per cent guarantee....no emails from best buy, and they have nerve to say they haven't received shipment. Thats a crock, cause I know for a fact AT&T had their phones in the back for a week now, won't deal with Bestbuy again if I can help it. Im done. Good luck to all.
Yep...it's finally here, in my hands, and drop-dead beautiful.
Arrived with 5.1 installed - no update required.
The Verizon sim card was already installed in it too, so activation was a breeze.
NFC 'tap' allowed me to transfer my accounts from my Note 2....
Gorgeous phone. Beautiful.
Insanely fast. I have never seen speed like this in any device.
It's charging in my wireless Qi cradle now - while wearing the portfolio case. Nice.
The Note was a trusty companion. But it's time for a new era.

Cool didn't know you could do that. I always have root on my phones so I just copied from the old one. Rooted the Nexus 6 out of the box with WugFresh's toolkit and was in business. Just used the same tool tonight to jump to your version of Android.
Been on Verizon for a few weeks and she is a screamer for sure.

If you make a FedEx account you should be able to electronically sign for it so that they'll leave it at the door.

In dealing with fed ex deliveries in the past that require a signature, I have left a signed note saying to leave the package. This has always worked for me.

Ordered on the day it went live online. It shipped early. If I had done overnight shipping it would have been here yesterday

That's what I see. 250k isn't much.... More than likely though they will still honor the requests after that but people might be waiting a while. I pre-ordered on the 4th of August so I'm pretty sure I'm in anyways.
Pre-ordered a black onyx on 8/4.
My pre-order is dated 8/2. Ordered online from Verizon in the Central time zone. The promotion has 8/3 as the earliest date to qualify. Thinking about cancelling and reordering though Verizon customer service assured me 8/2 would be OK. I really doubt it.

Coral blue thru verizon 8/3/16 purchased outright due to unlimited data. Will get 256gb micro sd.
Another Coral Blue. Ordered direct from Samsung on 8/3 because, despite the money going to the same place, I felt better 'giving my money' to Samsung. Also made the problem of selecting a free gift a bit easier as, I believe, it will ship with the phone.

That would be awesome! They should definitely tend towards the early side if anything because really... Who cares from their point of view? Get the product put earlier for more positive PR and advertising.

through verizon you can now upgrade and keep unlimited data by choosing to pay for the phone on their monthly payment plan. thats what i did. that is part of their justification to charge us an extra $25 bucks for the data.

Got mine in too, I've been on a Moto G4 since I turned in my Note7. Got a Black Plus and even went ahead and ordered some case off amazon already. Almost went with the bestbuy deal but i've had issues with them in the past. I should have probably waited for the next Note but damn I miss having a good camera.
Ordered 2 S8s 1 black 1 grey and 2 S8S+ 1black and 1 grey. It's been 10 years since I've been a Verizon customer (coming from Sprint). It will be good to be back.

I know what you mean. I have the note 7 and then with everything that happened I was so over Samsung I jumped to Apple and picked up a 7+. That was a big mistake. I was going to wait for the note 8 but I just needed to get out of this phone.
Anyone on Verizon consider ordering the international variant? Or it still the case that it's missing bands that work with CDMA? This is when I start missing my gsm phones.

Interesting fact: all the s8 devices on display in my local Verizon store are SM-G950U and SM-G955U. This leads me to believe that big red is selling software customized Unlocked models.

Well, generally carriers carry their own one off model number to identify the bloat that will go into the phone.

I did not. I ordered using my 2 year contract. All in $400.
Indeed, this is evident in the history of Samsung devices for Verizon (SM-N910V, SM-G900VZKV, SM-N915V, SM-G920V, etc) it is just interesting to see that it is a U vs. the usual V coding this time around. I'm hoping this will lead to easier root and bootloader access but only time will tell.

I had my S7 Edge for a year and it is exactly half paid off. Verizon is taking back my S7, removing the balance of payments for the purchase of my S8.

Which is the same for me but I received the warning that the s8 will not be eligible for an annual upgrade. Chatted with customer support idiots yesterday and after some going back and forth I got them to state that my new phone will be eligible for upgrade after a year, chat log transcript saved.

OK I see what you are saying. Hopefully I will not have the desire or need to switch to something else for at least 2 years. But you never know. I would keep my Edge longer but I have an annoying issue of an over sensitive screen. It drives me crazy.

Yeah same problem with my edge with the screen. I usually upgrade every year lol, unfortunately I cannot help myself. I guess I've gotten better though since there was a time where I updated every 6 months... still need to update my sig lol
