no ois ? - Honor V9 Questions & Answers

I would like to know if the honor v9 have ois ? I saw the specs and I didn't find it
Thanks

I never noticed any difference with OIS. But I hope the low-light processing is different than on the Huawei Mate 9.

Actually there is no contenst, S7 will easily win. The P9 does not have optical image stabilization, for starters. The aperture is F2.2 in the P9, which means that the S7 is one stop better (100% more light entering the sensor).
And the "270% more light" thing is only for the monochrome sensor. It remains to be seen if the software processing will be able to do something really useful with the black and white images.
I actually noticed with last update that sammy added new option in cam app called shape correction.
The more i take photos with s7 the more impressed i become
It's got 12 MP with f/2.2 sensor, I can't see it beating the f/1.7 sensor
There are samples already out. No contest, easy win for s7

Hard to gauge. The shots are all badly taken, you can see resolution but will not be able to see much real camera performance there.

Half a stop, so it's 50% more light. Still pretty big difference in favor of the S7 and specially since it also has OIS so definitely a lot better than P9 in darkness . Not impressed with the P9 camera. As an owner of a Mate 8 I find it a little dissapointing.

Actually if you want to get really technical, the difference between F1.7 and F2.2 is 0.83 EV, so 83% more light in favor of the S7.

But there's 2 cameras so that's already 100% more. The monochrome sensor also has no color filter for 200% more light.
So if one regular f2.2 camera is 1 unit, the P9 can claim to recieve 4 units of light. Compared to the 1.83 units of the s7.

I thought p9 has ois ? And adjustable aperture

mate 9 or p10+ or s8+ camera

i have oneplus 3t and the camera is amazing but i want to upgrade so what you recommend me to go with ?
All have their strengths.... The OnePlus 3 as well.
Try not to get dazzled by specs and marketing hype... Think of it more of as there some area they you would like to improve over the op3 camera
Samsung camera may be better if you want to just point and shoot in full auto all the time.
Most of us won't be utilizing our phone cameras to it's full potential all the time.
I moved from a OP3 to a Mate 9 (after deciding to pass on the S7) and I'm very happy with my choice
You should have a look at the pocketnow "real camera reviews" on YouTube if you're not aware of them already
For the OP3
https://youtu.be/bQFy7qzkNro
Check the P10 and mate 9 there as well
I don't think any reviewers have gotten around to doing in depth reviews for the s8 as of yet
so you recomende transfed to mate ? from op3t bacause u use it and know if there defrence

Low light

At the club, at the bar, or just in your mom's basement, nighttime is when you come out to play. Rate this thread to express how the Honor V10's camera performs when no or low light is present. A higher rating indicates that the camera sensor "sees" lots of light in dim conditions, and that the resulting photos have minimal noise. A higher rating also indicates that when the flash fires, the resulting photo is evenly-lit without any bright spots.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
20MP+16MP dual camera and IR blaster?
It seems this new Honor V10 is equiped with 20MP + 16 MP dual camera, and it has IR blaster? Really interested in it.
At the Honor 9 lite launch event at New Delhi, India, the Honor India team confirmed that the EIS feature is in works for 1080p & 4k videos and would be provided through a OTA. That would help in the low light video capture.
for the Honor 9 lite (as you mentioning) or the Honor 10 view ?
The view 10 will get the EIS feature. I just confirmed this when I went to the Honor 9 lite launch.
Night shots are great in this phone. The best phone I have used so far

are you serious about this? And are you sure the Honor team referring the EIS update for Honor View10 or for the Honor 9 Lite? .. as it is the launching event of Honor 9 lite. Cuz this could be the game-changer for this awesome beast phone. I really want to buy this phone as it costs much lower than the other smartphone in its budget segment but the un-availability of EIS really put me off from the decision ( to buy whether this phone or Oneplus 5T ).

The Honor team recognized lack of EIS as a negative for the view 10 and said that they're working on an EIS feature for at least 1080p video.

It is not officially disclosed as of now. The people at Honor know that EIS is a big deal when you put the phone next to the OnePlus 5T and they have acknowledged the lack there of. They're working on many things at the moment (more scene recognition options in the camera, more AI features, etc) that they cannot provide ETA for EIS, which people start along once a company promises them some feature. It is in works along with other features and I hope they pull it off.

Low light shots are very impressive from the Honor View 10.

will supermacro be possible on s10+ ultra wide camera via update?

i really loved it on mate20pro is it possible that samsung will add it in the future?
is the reason s10+ cant and mate20pro can have something to do with the software or its something to do with the camera lens of the ultra wide camera ?
Would like to see superacro comming to our devices but have doubt that hardware can make it. Isn't it our wide angle fixed focus?
Still hope dies last

I think the mate 20 pro have auto focus on its ultra wide lens
While we have fixed focus
But the s10 lens is the widest from all phones right now according to reviewers
I see So the answer is no
Its a shame i used to use it alot for very unique pictures

Back Camera has only 12MP, Resurrection Issue?

Hello Guys,
i have the Problem that no App can make Pictures with 48MP Resolution.
I had to wait for 196 hours until the Mi-tool has unlocked my Fon. It is an insolence from xiaomi imposing such a compulsory break to the customer. Some of the older Redmi Customers must wait 1440 hours, i had read. But i say nothing, the Price for the Hardware i bought is good
So i tested the Fon for 196 hours and the Pictures i made with 48MP they were very good an big (14-18 MB/jpg File).
Since i installed TWRP 3.2.x.x and Ressurretion (RR 7.0.2 from 29th Aug.) since then i can make Pictures with maximum 12 MP (3000 x 4000, 5-7 MB/jpg File). There is no way to make higher Resolution. It doesn´t matter witch Cam App i use.
I have not found any Kind of fix or People that has the same Problem.
I am not sure if i have installed the right OS. I installed RR-P-v7.0.2-20190829-lavender-Official because i had read that lavender is the right Software for Snapdragon 660 and Adreno 512 GPU.
violet is not the right one, isn´t it?
Questions over questions..............i hope you can help me.
Sorry for my bad english !
Best regards from Germany
48mpx photos can only be captured with MIUI Camera which is available only on MIUI rom. For custom roms there is Miui camera port called ANX camera 48mpx works but pictures arent as good.
Thank you for you´re help. Now i am Happy

Who has tell you this? It isn´t the Truth.
The Pictures with 48MP (8000 x 6000) look very good. I can´t show you Pics because i can´t Post attachements and i can´t post external Pic-Links.
The Pictures has a Size over 10 MB, and on the PC they look really good!
The Files i installed with TWRP are:
- ANXCameraMagisk_94.ComfortableMulticoloredNoctule.zip
- ANXCamera94_48MpFixed.zip (this Thread is helping you)
After the installation you have the App "ANXCamera", start it and be happy
Redmi Note 7 doesn't have a real 48MP sensor. It's 12MP (primary sensor). That's why third-party apps only offers you 12Mp as the max resolution.
The camera software (Stock ROM) applies a binning effect (technology), combining 4 pixels into 1 (big). Then, the software resizes the image to generate an equivalent image as 48MP (size), from a 12MP.
If you take a look at the specifications of the CPU (SoC) the device uses, it doesn't allow cameras with higher resolution than 25Mp. So, Xiaomi, and other brands too, needed to use this technology to allow the device to generate "virtual" 48MP images.
If you want to take good photos, I would recommend you to go for cameras (not compact if possible), not smartphones. As their sensors are much bigger, so better quality and light they can capture. Sorry.

That is not real. Indian RN7 has 12mp Sony sensor but chinese Redmi Note 7 has Samsung GM1 48mp Isocell, so there are 48 million physical pixels BUT in Quad Bayer arrangement (4 pixels are in the same red, green and blue filter), technically you can shoot 48MP photos in stock camera and YES, the soc (SDM660) allow 48mp photos in normal mode, not in ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag), photos in 48mp looks sharper in bright conditions (i tested that) and contains high noise levels on low light, anyway that 48mp are not the same as a 48mp regular bayer filter.
I hope this helps, i could be wrong. You can find [Samsung GM1 48MP] and [SDM660] specs on google.
(Google translate, sorry for my english bla bla bla)
